We arrived late in the evening having made a last minute booking online having been let down by the accommodation we originally booked. We were relieved to find the staff really friendly and helpful. They got us checked in quickly and helped us with our bags. We were upgraded to a triple room which was significantly bigger than the standard double (we peaked in when the rooms were being cleaned). I think the standard room would have been a tight fit for a whole week but we were very happy with the size of our room. The room was tidied and cleaned everyday. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The homemade yogurt at breakfast was delicious and the coffee was good too.

The breakfast could have had a bit more fruit. I usually have a banana so just some additional bananas and apples perhaps would have made a big difference for me. It would also have been nice to have some bread and a toaster. The emergency lighting was very very bright and we had to buy eye masks to sleep at night. Im not sure if there's anything that can be done about this as I understand it's a legal requirement. Perhaps just reminding guests to bring an eye mask or providing them with one could be a solution.

First of all, the staff is wonderful. Everyone was super nice and patient with me whenever I asked questions. They were helpful with giving me directions to get around Rome via taxi or train. The breakfast seemed to be the typical Italian style breakfast which I enjoyed. I know some people didn't care for the location as they thought it wasn't in the heart of Rome. However with the train station a short walk away, it takes you right to where you want to go and you can experience the people of Rome better when you are away from the city. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel to friends and family in the future!

I would prefer an electronic key card only because it can easily fit in my wallet vs the key setup they use currently. But that isn't a dealbreaker or anything for me personally.

Very good location: 3 minutes to the station, 5 minutes to the metro, bus stops 2-5 minutes depending on the desired route. Very good breakfest, I really like their chocolate croissants =) Good staff, we have early flight and we received the breakfest 2 hours befor regular time when we checked out. The room was also good, we even had the tea-kettle that was a nice surprise

Zone of wi-fi didn't cover our room, but that wasn't problem for us because we have our own internet The drain in the shower didn't work very well and there were small puddles of water on the floor. Wasn''t really big problem but could be resolved

I have never met more helpful people than those working at Hotel Tuscolana. Their attitude was exceptional. Everyone spoke enough English to manage. The breakfast was exceptional and the hours for their breakfast were flexible. They were just the most caring staff I have ever met. They had a refrigerator in the room. I was greeted with a razor, shaving cream soap and toothpaste the first day. It was just so helpful and thoughtful.

There was nothing at all.

Hotel was clean, staff was extremely friendly and nice. We got good advices where and when to visit attractions. They offered airport transportation wich was nice since we had early flight back home. Good Italian style breakfast, croisants, toppings, sweet snacks etc.. home made goodness also ! Very close to train and metro stations, so very easy to get places. We even took trip to Anzio beach.

You could hear traffic noise from the street. BUT this was not big deal for us. Did not even need ear plugs at night. Shower drain was not the best but we managed. Not the nicest neighbourhood (like any other area nesr big city) but we used to it in few days. We did not feel uncomfortable walking in the streets.

Breakfast was really good. They serve freshly made focaccia and home made cakes. There is nice buffet with different stuff to pick from (salty to sweet). You can have a real espresso which they bring to your table. And I would do a special thanks to a girl working at the buffet/kitchen for lovely focaccia she made! When we came for the first day receptionist did a detailed explaining on what to see and how to reach places. Additionally she suggested some of the restaurants near the hotel because we didn't want to go to the center for dinner. The restaurants they suggest around are really good but make sure you reserve the table, locals love them too so they can be crowded. Public transport is really 5 minutes away (metro/bus) and the train station has direct regional train to Fiumicino airport.

If you have noisy neighbors in room next to they might keep you awake. This happened just one night, other nights we were fine.

Friendly helpful staff. Access to very good restaurants near the hotel, with the local knowledge if the hotel reasonably priced with good choices on the menus.

Location was outside the centre however commutable by tube and the cost was reasonable to get to main attractions.

I arrived 11pm New years eve, the staff was very helpful in getting me checked in and offered me something from the bar, even though it was closed for the evening. The room was clean and well equipped with coffee and teas, and a very confrontable bed. The breakfast was excellent. There was a great choice of fresh croissants, and great expresso. The staff was always attentive and pleasant throughout my stay. Defiantly made my stay enjoyable.

The hotel was nice, and the staff was quite friendly. The location is convenient; it takes only 3 minutes to reach the metro station. Many essential places are situated on the same metro line, making it easy and fast to reach all the main points of interest, such as Borghese, Vatican, Trevi Fountain, etc. Additionally, there is a 24-hour supermarket right next to the hotel, which is quite convenient.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is near the metro station, bus stop and train station. Also, the maintenance staff did a good job when cleaning our room every day.

The walls of the rooms were very thin and the noises from the other rooms could be heard easily. It was the biggest downside of our stay, because the noises weren't over until all people from surrounding rooms went to sleep and began with the first people that woke up: this affected our sleep.
