We were a bit skeptical given the outstanding low price and last minute availability, and the limited photos and reviews given online about the hotel and the neighborhood. Don't hesitate if you are looking for an exceptional budget hotel: all staff are completely exceptional, the hotel is clean and well kept, the street and neighborhood are quiet and safe, despite it being directly above the tram line and easy walking distance from the Trastevere stazione. Rooms are modest small size, but include desk, tv, refrigerator and armadio, windows that open, bathroom floors and tiles clean and modern enough - all is in order and the building itself is stable and well kept. Bathroom supplies and towels provided are generous. Breakfast included is more than sufficient, all exceptional quality and service for an exceptionally good value. Our toilet water was slightly running continuously, and some walls had some chipping paint higher up in our room, but overall it is an exceptional stay for the low low price and excellent service and safety. By European standards: a 5-star 3-star hotel experience, you couldn't ask for more! By American standards: when in Rome..... Welcome to Europe! If you want the Ritz, go to the Ritz, if you want to understand local life and really appreciate the culture, this is the best! We stayed for appointments at the San Camillo hospital; the walk is much easier than Maps makes it seem, not difficult or a hard walk at all, less than the 20 minutes maps indicates, safe, easy, pleasant all the way.

My Italian friend recommended the hotel , looking on TripAdvisor there were some negative comments. But the hotel is fine… perfect location to Trastevere station , and buses ,easy walking to some nearby restaurants , bars and supermarkets. I always like to book double rooms , and the size , comfort and bathroom were fine. The staff friendly and helpful. I don’t normally eat breakfast but there were plenty of pastries , cheese , ham , a coffee machine plus filter coffee. I would definitely stay here again , and good free Wi-Fi.

We chose this place because it is close to Roma Trastevere station, so it ws easy to get to from the airport and easy to catch a tram into the center of Rome. Room is a bit on the small side but comfortable enough. Staff very helpful and because we had to leave early in the morning, we were provided with a take away breakfast pack which was a very nice touch. Good Wi-Fi

Bathroom a bit cramped.

Great location right by the train station and in between the coliseum and the Vatican. It was nice that they allowed us to store our luggage there before check in. Breakfast was nice in the morning, and the staff was very friendly.

The air conditioning did not work the second night we were there. The night manager gave us 2 fans, but the room stayed at 26C even with the window open with all of the street noise.

Had to book a last minute stay and this hotel fit our needs perfectly. It is in a good location near transit and restaurants, plus we were able to walk to where we needed to be. The bed was comfortable, staff were pleasant, breakfast was simple but good.

I like the classic charm, but it could use some updates. Especially in the bathroom. But, everything was clean. Old, but clean.

Nice staff at the reception. The breakfast selection is simple, but sufficient. The location is great - near Roma Trestevere train station, it was very convenient to arrive from Fiumicino airport or go to the Vatican. We like to walk, so we reached many places on foot. The economy room is small, but it was only needed for sleeping :)

The hotel is near the train station and the street where buses run, what is very convenient for transportation, but the window of our room were facing the street - it's really noisy when you open the window.

The blankets, they need to change the blankets. My daughters blanket was full of hair lines from a blond person who previously stayed there. For the price that you pay. It should be the minimum to at least have Duvets and clean blankets

Staff were friendly and helpful, good sized bathroom, toiletries were provided, luggage storage after checkout, air conditioning worked well. Convenient location from the train. Highlight was breakfast, which was a large spread, well-stocked, and had friendly staff managing it.

The room could have been bigger but honestly I would totally recommend this hotel.

It’s location near the train station with a direct train to the airport allowing quick transit to and from as well as easy transit to the main attractions in Rome.

The walls were a bit thin but it was still very quiet during the night. But for the price it was worth it
