We loved everything about BBSuites Trastevere! It is literally about 300m from the train station in one direction and 300m from the no.8 tram stop in the other (takes you into the city centre). Very well located and in a very secure, lovely old building with an elevator straight from a 1950s movie! We were in the Colosseo room, which is decorated floor to ceiling in murals of the Colosseum. Such a unique and special space to come back after a day of adventuring in the city. The bed was massive, comfy and had the best pillows I have ever put my head on. Lovely jacuzzi bath and waterfall shower. One of my favourite things about our stay was the breakfast every morning. It is brought to the room in the most adorable boxes, and is just to die for. Beautiful fresh croissants and toasties, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, granola, tea/coffee and plenty of jams/spreads. Well worth 6 euros and saves having to think about where to fill your belly for the day ahead. I just loved heading that knock in the morning! The place was super clean and housekeeping came in every day. There is free body wash, shampoo and little care packages with cotton pads and nail files. So many lovely little details. The staff were so nice, Giselle on the desk was always friendly and full of helpful advice. They even left my husband a free bottle of red wine and a note for his 50th birthday. Truly an unforgettable experience at BBSuites and I'd highly recommend!

There wasn't really anything we didn't like! On the first night, it seemed that the toilet was constantly running, but then we figured out that you have to press the right hand button to stop it running and start refilling the cistern. A little tip for anyone staying!

I stayed at Suites Trastevere on two occasions, at the beginning and at the end of my trip to Italy, and upon my return I felt I was returning to my home away from home. The location was perfect, a five minute walk from the Trastevere train station for access to the airport and easy walking access to Trastevere cultural attractions. Each of the rooms was uniquely decorated with hand-painted Roman murals, giving a unique sense of place. Despite being on a busy street, the rooms were very quiet. The staff communication was superb, making early or late departures and arrivals easy. I am looking forward to my next stay the next time I am in Rome

Great location by the Trastevere terminal. Easy access to the Metro that puts you right at all the great sites. Beds are comfortable, air conditioning works great after a long day in the heat. Staff are amazing. Friendly, super responsive to inquiries. Helped us arrange a ride from the airport and gave us a map and showed us how to get around the city. Happy to answer any questions at any time. Breakfast delivered to the room in the morning was excellent and there is also a coffee maker in the room. 100% highly recommend!

Great location, right next to train station. Right next to bus and tram stops to get in town the centre with ease. Loved having the bath to soak after a day of walking. Giselle was very welcoming and helpful and we appreciated the early check in. Room cleaned every day. Loved that we weren't right in the centre so it wasn't too busy but so easy to get there hopping on the buses/trams, which are so cheap compared to UK travel!!

Room became too hot for us for sleeping at night - we turned the radiator off the first day but there seemed to be underfloor heating. Turned the air con on for the last night. Bit noisy at night from neighbours, woken a number of times - I appreciate this can't be helped and you would get this anywhere you go.

The staff were really kind and helpful. The room was clean with a basket of treats/breakfast options when we arrived. The accommodation was a short walk to lots of different restaurants. We used Lime scooters to go into the centre of Trastevere and Rome. The bus is also a convenient option. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very good with really nice shampoo and shower gel. What topped off our stay is how the staff were able to hold onto our luggage after 11am checkout, and allow us to enjoy Rome for a few hours before we picked up our luggage at 6pm to go to the airport. We stayed for four nights in total and we really enjoyed our stay. Both myself and my husband said that we would return to Suites Trastevere when we return to Rome.

Thrilled I found this gem of a property in the neighborhood of Trastevere. Staying here felt like staying at home. The staff were available to answer questions and receive requests prior to my arrival. The room was clean, comfortable, had sufficient lighting and decorated after the Pantheon. The breakfast was a plus. The bathroom was clean and of a good size.The bus, and tram were close by, making visiting the sights easy if you didn't want to walk. It's also a quick ride from FCO airport on the train.

Giselle was particularly helpful, arranging a taxi to the airport, recommending eateries and the sights. Our arrival was delayed and we didn’t arrive until after midnight but she told us not to panic and let us in remotely. The envelope with keys and information was where she said it would be. We loved the old-fashioned cage lift and the location. Our room was kept scrupulously clean and twin beds were installed as I requested

Very helpful owner and staff. Quiet room, with interesting "Ancient Rome" themed walls. Good size comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with good shower. Coffee maker. Kettle. Location good for restaurants, shopping, public transport to other parts of the city. On departure, Giselle very kindly called us a taxi and helped us get our luggage downstairs

One or two small things. Overloaded electrical point meant it wasn't possible to charge phones without removing other plugs, at least for our UK adapters. Toilet seat not 100% functional. Sloping shelf above basin. Breakfast is all packet food; would have preferred something fresher, perhaps fruit.

It was wonderful! Room was cute, clean, delightfully designed. Bathroom does have plenty of room, a bidet, a shower with hand held and rain shower heads. Hosts were kind, helpful and friendly. They helped us figure out restaurants, transportation and even helped haul taxis for us. And, a welcome basket with treats, pastries, snacks, tea and coffee. We are recommending it to friends.

Our beds were memory foam ; a bit hard for me but that’s a personal choice. Taxis cost us $15-$20 each time we went to city center. The bus stops very close by and is cheap. I couldn’t do metro this trip because of a medical condition. So taxis and Uber were our go to. High season impacted the length of waiting time, availability and cost. None of that is their fault or responsibility.

The location is very easy to get to on the train from the airport or city and easy to get around with the Tram stopping right across the road. I was contacted well in advance of my arrival and given all the information required and then some to find my way around and the room was clean and comfortable, after a long flight it was perfect for what I needed.

The only downside was that I only had one night in Rome! It would have been the perfect base to stay for longer.
