The location next to Campo di Fiori is ideal—it's equidistant from the Colosseum and the Vatican, for example, and close to the Pantheon and the Trevi. Campo di Fiori is a rambunctious place full of restaurants, yet the hotel is super quiet and peaceful, and our room was clean and spacious. The staff is great too.

The air conditioning didn't work well, so our room was warm during the night, which made it difficult to sleep. For this not-cheap rate, the a/c should work very well. The walls are also very thin, so we could hear other guests talking late at night, which also woke us up.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right next to a market square with a fantastic bakery and within walking distance from all major sites in Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our suite was a good size for our family and had a small balcony. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would happily stay again.

The breakfast room was in the basement and did smell damp and musty however breakfast was nice with a good selection and the staff member was very friendly and helpful. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable for the kids (17 and 19). A few areas of wear and tear were visible but nothing that would put us off staying again.

Very disappointing experience. I booked and paid 6 months in advance with a clear request for a room with a bathtub, which was confirmed. But when I arrived, they said the room with a bathtub was not available. It's hard to trust a place that says 'people and service first' but doesn't honour bookings made so far in advance. Very poor service.

The taxi could not drop or pick us up at the entrance of the hotel as the street was too narrow

We upgraded to a small suite and it felt like a wonderful little apartment near everything but away from the noise. We loved everything and ALL of the people there were so nice and helpful.

Everything was so perfect! Hotel is situated in such a good location, walking distance between all main attractions. Longest walk was to the Colosseum (About 45 min) and next to a lovely Piazza with restaurants/bars & supermarkets. The staff at reception always had smiles on their faces & were willing to help with any inquiries etc. Rooms were clean & spacious, safe & secure and tucked in a quiet alley.

Couldn’t put anything to fault, we enjoyed everything!

The Navona Essence is a boutique hotel in a good central location for walking Rome and for restaurants in the campo, navona square or Trastevere, we have stayed in the Campo d'Fiori previously and like the location. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, our room was comfortable included fridge and kettle. We really enjoyed the breakfast as it included scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh bread to make toast, variety of cakes and pastries, unlimited coffee as my husband likes a large cup of coffee in the mornings, fruit, yoghurts, juice. We would stay here again.

We traveled as a couple. Liked that hotel is located so close to everything that we wanted to explore in Rome. We could walk to all places- not far distance. Hotel is unique, super clean, comfortable beds, beyond friendly staff, Yammy food at breakfast, lots of food to choose from. The staff fulfilled our request- we had birthday anniversary, the housekeeper decorated beautifully our room. We liked as well that we could leave our luggage there while we were away even if we checked out. I’ll recommend everyone , if you have opportunity- stay at this hotel, worth the price !!!

Staff was nice and helpful. Hotel gave us a complimentary Prosecco since we had a celebration, it was super nice of them. Location was fantastic, near by cafes and restaurants and main attraction points. Hotel is quite small and cozy, has all facilities and did a perfect job for us as a couple whose focus was to see the main attractions in Rome.

The walls were very thin tho it seems to be Roma’s old town thing and not only specific to this hotel.

The location was great, but the hotel is located on the very edge street and no cars are reached to the hotel, so you have to carry the luggage till the hotel, which is about 20 meters. But the room is clean and not small, everything is comfortable, breakfast is simple, but tasty. we were leaving early and they gave us boxes with breakfast.
