Exceptional – 10/10 The room was absolutely perfect: spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff went above and beyond, truly some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever encountered. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was also an absolute highlight. The location couldn’t be better: central yet peaceful, with everything within walking distance. For evenings, there’s a fantastic cocktail bar just around the corner (La Buvette) for aperitivo, and the staff provided excellent restaurant recommendations that made our stay even more memorable (highly recommend Rosciolo Salumeria and Hosteria Grappolo D’Oro). A boutique hotel at its very best – can’t wait to return!

So happy that we ended our trip in Italy with a stay at this hotel. The room was styled very chicly and spacious with plenty of places to put luggage and clothes away. Most comfortable bed of our whole trip too! The rooftop and room where you are served breakfast is lovely, the breakfast selection itself is divine! The staff are also very hospitable and provided excellent service. The location is quite central and an easy walk to a lot of big sightseeing areas as well as a metro station.

Pricier than other hotels in Rome but definitely worth the cost!

We arrived at the hotel late at night and were warmly welcomed by a wonderful receptionist. Despite the late hour, she patiently explained everything about the room, accompanied us upstairs, and made sure we felt comfortable right from the start. We even received a complimentary room upgrade, which was such a nice surprise. The room itself was of the highest standard – spotlessly clean, with high-quality soaps and shampoos, a unique and stylish glass sink we’ve never seen in any other hotel, and an incredibly comfortable, spacious bed. Honestly, it was the best sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel – we slept like babies. Breakfast was simply dreamy – delicious, varied, and beautifully prepared. You can really feel the chef’s talent and dedication. Overall, a perfect hotel experience in every way. Thank you to the amazing staff – we would be absolutely delighted to come back. No doubts at all!

The location is great , staff are sweet and try to be helpful. Great breakfast our suite was large and comfortable bed and pillows . When we first arrived they gave us a regular room even though we had booked and paid for a suite . They lied and said it was an upgrade . Luckily I checked my booking the next day and complained so they switched us . There is a good restaurant next door . The best thing is the location and the suite size

The electric plugs are all loose and difficult to plug in stuff. The lights in the room are absurd . It’s ridiculous you have to close 5 switches to turn off the lights . They tried to make it unique lighting but it’s just annoying. No room service . No one there after 1100 pm .

The staff were exceptional - kind, attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The location was a delight, the bed was bliss and the lighting throughout the entire building is spectacular.

There were small, insignificant inconveniences associated with an historic building - noisy floorboards from some of the guests upstairs and being able to hear guests speaking in the room adjoining ours, but these all faded away because the staff was so kind. Staying on the top floor - level 4 and letting all guests know that the joy of enjoying genuine antique flooring needs to be offset by guests being aware of and well mannered about their neighbouring guests would easily solve this small issue.

From the moment I made my reservation, the staff demonstrated an impressive attentiveness to detail that truly set the tone for my visit. They responded immediately to any questions or requests I had prior to my arrival, making the entire booking process smooth and reassuring. Upon check-in, I was greeted by Paulina, who was not only super helpful but also incredibly thoughtful. I had an early flight the next morning, and to my surprise, she went above and beyond by leaving breakfast in my room. This kind gesture was incredibly appreciated and showcased the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Some of the reviews don't accurately reflect the quality of the experience and truly don't do the Poesis Hotel justice. Paulina took the time to explain how the key system works for both the building and my room, ensuring I felt comfortable and well-informed during my stay. To top it all off, I was upgraded to a spacious suite at no additional cost! The room was beautifully appointed, featuring a comfortable bed and a well-stocked mini bar—everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I couldn't have been happier with my experience at Poesis Hotel. The attentiveness of the staff and their thoughtful gestures far exceeded my expectations. I sincerely thank the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Location, location, location. Staff was super friendly and helpful through WhatsApp. Breakfast is not all-you-can eat style, but it is fantastic and we never were able to finish it. Rooms were nice and large with high ceilings. Plenty of amenities and well ventilated. Terrace was nice for an evening sit down after a long day of walking.

The TV didn't work for us. It's only an issue because we wanted to watch EURO football. Also the light switch system was very fidgety and hard to figure out - every night was a 5 minute game to figure out how to turn all the lights off. Showers could have more water pressure - WiFi could be a bit faster.

beautiful, clean hotel in a great location but watch out for problems with the reservation. we made two reservations by mistake and the manager does not want to agree to cancel the reservation without any costs. zero contact with the decision-makers of the facility and big problems despite contact and attempts by booking for a free cancellation of one reservation. completely incomprehensible behavior and against the guest because we stayed there with one of the reservations. we are fighting with the hotel and we feel cheated.

We enjoyed our stat at this amazing hotel. The team here are very friendly and welcoming all the way from the reception champions , the incredible breakfast hosts, and the house keeping masters, we enjoyed it all! Specials thanks to Rania who really went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Which actually convinced us to extend our stay and not even consider moving to another hotel for the rest of our Rome trip.
