Before booking I extensively read the reviews for Residenza Sistina and I was a little worried but it seemed ok and acceptable, I have completed a 7 day stay and its more than adequate Phenomenal location for me as the vatican was where I spent the bulk of my trip + many good restaurants right on your doorstep and the price was unbeatable 450 Euros for the week, staff replaced my sheets, towels + emptied the bins 5 times out of the 7 days which is great Wifi was good I never had any trouble with the connection and the noise was mitigated playing a 10 hour sounds of the rain from my phone in the corner of the room People really stress minor details stains and marks within their photos, even an old bedhead but it's really not a problem and the bed was absolutely not itchy or crawling with bugs as some others claimed, for the location and what I paid for it Ill happily do it again.

Not the hotels fault just a warning for others who like me don't have any phone data or wifi planned in advance coming into Italy be sure to organise check in details and read the owners instructions before you leave your last wifi zone, I did not so checking in wasn't as streamlined ( my fault )

The 'Guest House' is in a very secure location that is within walking distance of all the attractions and surrounded by amazing restaurants and bars. Could not have been more helpful throughout our stay and check in/out was seamless. The room was huge with very comfortable beds and high quality finish. For the price I was not expecting a great deal as we went at a very expensive time and surrounding hotels were 3-4 times the price, but it was more than value for money and would highly recommend to all!!! A great, great stay and we will come again

Max (owner of the property) communicates clearly and makes sure you get in your room. cleaning service was superb, I came back to find everything replenished and my clothes folded. Mind you, I only stayed for three nights.

Watch out for the sink; it has no filter in the drain so something small can fall in.

Everything was great, we stayed 4 days but the room was cleaned only one time (the second day). The pressure of the water at the shower was so low and it changed temperatures every 2 minutes. The small toilet seat was clogged.

Very good location near Vatican, Vatican Museum and metro, well equiped kitchen(microwave, electric stove, kettle, dishes, kitchen utensils, coffee machine), towels and scheets were replaced with clean ones.

The AC was not working properly it was hot as hell staying here in mid June. It could be cleaned better.

The host was very helpful, the room was clean with all the basic needs, towels, clean sheets, comfortable bed, AC and wifi. The location is very central.

Bathroom accessories needs some upgrade. TV did not work (not a big issue since we were out most of the time). We stayed for 3 nights, found the room clean upon arrival on Friday, however the room was never cleaned again for the rest of our stay.

The location was perfect! Room was a very good size and had everything we needed.

The street is very noisy at night but we solved that with a couple of earplugs.

The location is fantastic. I appreciate a very guick and kind communication with a landlord.

The cleaning of the room could be better. The entrance door had to be closed forcefully, therefore noisily.

Exceptional value for money! 5 min walk from the Vatican, 5 minutes from the Metro (Line A). Really helpful staff; room was very spacious and clean.
