This property was in an amazing location and the rooms were quite nice! They are a bit smaller than they look but they aren’t too small. For all the westerners out there it’s not your topical hotel in terms of having a main lobby, one key tip is to make sure you get the door code and go to the 4th floor for this hotel. It was clean and very comfortable and it had a balcony which was nice!

At first it was confusing on how to check in I would say to be sure to request the door code and where the hotel is because it’s not clear on the book as to how to get to the actual hotel.

The location is super convenient and close to many sites on foot. The room is very clean and the bed was comfortable. Self check in, helpful and responsive staff

The street can be noisy in the early-morning hours, as they pick up the trash - the sound of bottles in a bag woke me up every morning. the room was pretty simple and had no view - although it had 2 windows, both are looking into the next building's windows.

Francesca who checked us in and helped us all along when we stayed there. She was excellent and extremely helpful. She explained all the process and we were very happy with her. Location is excellent. Walkable to many sight seeing places, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast not provided. Just instant coffee. We knew breakfast was not included when we booked.

Would be helpful if location is clearer like provide a picture of the building ahead of time.

The team handling the check in was excellent. Especially Francesca was very helpful. She responded to our questions quickly. The location of the place is excellent as it is walking distance to many places. Restaurants and shopping are close by.

Overall, I don't really have any complaint for this place. It would be nice if they can show a picture of the front of the building. It will be easier for us to find it for the first time.

The room was exactly as advertised, clean and spacious for two, with a perfect location in the city to be able to walk to many attractions. There was one night where our water was not running hot, the staff immediately attended to fix it despite it being late at night. Very good service and would definitely stay here again next time we may be in Rome.

Wonderful stay! It’s situated perfectly near all the major attractions and there are some lovely restaurants and cafes nearby. They had recommended some restaurant and cafes to visit, and we had done just so, they were perfect. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, as it’s close to the metro/underground and bus station. Would book here again for our next Rome visit!

I am beyond happy with the whole thing. With regard to comfort, courtesy, and location, the hotel well beyond all of my expectations. My accommodation was large, beautifully decorated and supplied with all the conveniences I could have asked for, including a contemporary bathroom. Additionally, the hotel's location made it easy to explore Rome. It is close to many well-known tourist attractions and situated in the city's center. But the outstanding staff at Paleari 229 was what most wowed me during my visit. Everyone was really welcoming, helpful, and ready to take care of my needs at all times. I strongly urge you to take Paleari 229 into consideration if you're searching for a high-quality hotel in Rome.

It was super near a bunch of interesting and nice places the location was great, also we asked for a corkscrewer and they super nicely provided it to us! We had a great little terrace.

Our room was in the same area as the reception and the little hallway to enter it always had the suitcases from the other travellers that asked to keep them for a while which was slightly inconvenient, also it didn't feel very private we could hear the reception and I'm pretty sure they could hear even our conversations.

Nothing really. It’s not a hotel so no lobby or other facilities - but that’s fine as we were out and about all day anyway. But it would have been nice to have a chair something to sit on.

The location is perfect, we can go to the main tourist attractions on foot, the best shops are right next door.

I didn't like being notified at the last minute (I was on the plane) about an additional fee to pay. I think you need to be more transparent about this. It wasn't clear on the website.
