Lovely hostel near the train station. I chose this hostel because I wanted a friendly social vibe for solo travellers and I definitely got it :) I enjoyed the evening walk and aperitivo. Gabby and Mariana (volunteers) were both extremely lovely and welcoming. My room was spacious and clean, and a very comfy bunk. Lots of great recommendations from the hosts on where to eat etc. a wonderful hostel experience.

I didn’t really not like this but I didn’t realise I wouldn’t be in the main hostel - the female only dorms are through another entrance around the corner from the main hostel with no internal connection. I actually loved this area and it was very social. The only time it was annoying was when I wanted to use facilities in the main hostel (like laundry) and had to trek back and forth. For future guests there is a great laundromat just around the corner from the hostel for the same price and no need to wait around :) you can pick up later in the day washed dried and folded.

The room was great and the bed was so comfy, having a little balcony was also a bonus. the staff were so kind and offered different social events which is always so nice as a solo traveller , i didn’t end up attending any because i was so busy with my own itinerary but some people i spoke to in my room were telling me how great they are.

The only negative thing i would be able to say is that because it’s close to the station the surrounding area was a little sketchy for me as a solo female but the location was equally amazing and handy for getting around so worth it

Three toilets and showers available… never had to wait. Good WiFi. Comfortable bed. Socket near bed. Close to train station. Quiet… I slept very well!

Host asked my age at check in and told me there is an age limit of 45. She said I needed to read the fine print, which I had, since some hostels DO have age limits. She implied that I could not stay there but finally said since I had a reservation she would allow me to stay. She took about 5 minutes to rearrange my room and put me in a dorm with 5 young guys which turned out great because we had a lot of interests in common. I reread the fine print on Booking.com, and it states there is no age requirement.

I usually stay near Termini when I go to Rome. The Beehive was a new option for me. The location is excellent if you want to be near the train station. The hostel is very clean and comfortable. I had a very small private room with a bath. It is perfect for one person. Although it was fine for me, showers in Italy are quite small, and this one was no exception. My room was in the annex and had a very comfortable living and kitchen area. I was able to easily prepare meals, and it was nice to meet some of the other guests. This is not a luxury accommodation, but it more than met my needs. The receptionist, Giuli, was extremely friendly and very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. It was a perfect stay.

Really good place - both quiet at night and opportunity for socializing over the optional aperitivo every night. The volunteers arranged a delicious communal dinner for New Year's Eve. The hostel was very clean, spacious dorms and comfortable places to hang out and socialize with a nice courtyard (though too cold to use in winter) and reading space/hang-out spot away from the rooms (so if you stay up late to chat you won't bother anyone trying to sleep). Good location very close to Termini station. The staff was great, helpful and communicative - one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in.

The property was very well located nr Rome Termini station. I had a single room which was small ( small single bed ) very clean , good shower and hot water. The lounge / kitchen had a fridge, microwave, kettle etc . There was a shared pretty garden and meet up drinks if one chose to opt in .It was very good value for money.

I am a senior lady . The hostel as expected catered for a young population. On one occasion there was chatting in the lounge that I could hear in the early hrs . I chose not to say anything until the following morning. I think the people concerned were not aware that they were disturbing me and thereafter took care to be quiet. Despite this people were respectful and generally quiet and I would fully recommend this hostel for solo travellers on a budget.

Location was great because it’s 2 mins from Roma Termini station. However, train stations have a reputation of being a little unsafe which I do get a sense of but only slightly! It’s my first time in a hostel and it was a good experience! I had a bed in a 4 person female room and made really nice friends. I didn’t use too much of the facilities such as the stove and fridges but the toilet was very clean and nice! Sophie took good care of us and did a good job with the hostel events as well. I only kind of attended one but its was a nice experience meeting people. Washer and dryer was working great!

It can get a little noisy at night with people hanging out on the streets or cars zooming past, but nothing too severe.

For a dormitory, it was a very good price for all its amenities. The staff was very helpful too. I appreciate Satine's honesty and good faith because she did not accept my 20 euro payment, which is standard for the property to charge if you need a staff to wait for you to check in after 9 pm, because I arrived at 10 pm. The owner and cleaning lady were very nice too. It has a cooking area and two bathrooms. it has lockers in the dorm and and outlets for charging for each bed.

nothing, it was perfect for an overnight stay, maybe even longer.

Staff seemed very friendly. Linda always happy to help on WhatsApp etc with any questions. My room was comfortable and there were plentiful bathrooms (all very clean). There seems to be some nice areas to hang out outside too, and the daily evening aperitivo is a cute pro, I didn't really take advantage of this though as was busy exploring Rome.

Obviously very expensive for a hostel, but I think this is in line with Rome prices, so not the hostels fault.

The simpleness of the hostel allowed for authentic and genuine friendships to develop between the guests. Thank you to the volunteers for your kind-hearted, selfless attentiveness! Staying in the women's dorms was nice because it's a separate unit, about a minute walk from the main lobby of the hostel, so I felt like I had a private space and could engage with the other hostel guests when I wanted to in the main part of the hostel. It really felt like coming home to an apartment!

As someone who has worked in a toxic environment in the professional world, I could sense that there was some toxicity coming from upper management on to the staff. Nonetheless, I never met upper management, and the front-facing staff were beyond incredible. The volunteers deserve the best work environment for their initiative in making guests genuinely feel at home!
