Location is very convenient! Some of the staff could be more friendly. The door of the room was old and we could hear the corridor very loud. It did not bother us, but that is something to be aware of. But the noise from the streets are well suppressed. We could also hear the neighboring room. Bathroom was new, but small. AC worked great!

The breakfast was nice, with delicious croissants and cakes. The location was more than perfect, less than 3 minutes to the station. The staff are helpful and kind. The only drawback I would say was the small size of the toilet, but of course, you can live with that. But it was clean, and the room was clean. All the comments that you will read here about this hotel are not true at all and are unfair. People are exaggerating. If I come to Rome again, I will definitely stay at Villa delle Rose.

Charming hotel, close to the train station and metro. It has a nice private garden, safe from the otherwise badly represented street. The rooom has a small fridge, which is perfect to have your water in the summer months. The mattresse is very comfy, it is hard - just the way we like it. The room is air conditioned. You can walk to a lovely restaurant, Stada Romana in 2 minutes, and eat properly made, delicious Italian food for dinner. I suggest you pay for breakfast at the hotel, as the options near the train station are very expensive.

The noise - several families w kids stayed in the hotel who came in late from sight seeing and were stomping, shutting doors, etc for a while. No english channels on TV. (Only a problem if you want to wind down at the end of a busy day with television, otherwise no big deal) No kettle (for english guests)

Great location if you need to be near Termini. Staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and had a balcony which was lovely and the garden area was a good place to sit. Great trattoria (del omo) just up the street.

Sketchy area, but to expected near Termini and we never felt unsafe. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been good. The second single bed was actually a sofa. Ok for a kid but not an adult.

Breakfast was fine. The location was close to Termini and the Metro. The staff were friendly and professional.

Breakfast could include some fruit options. The hotel claims a 24 hour bar but this is only occasionally which is a shame because there is a nice sitting area outside. There was a faint smell of drains in our bedrooms now and again. The streets around the hotel can be fairly noisy if you are a light sleeper.

Pleasant and helpful staff at reception -thank you Hotel is a lovely old Roman character building with garden courtyard -excellent location close to Termini Station and Bus station and walking to the city must see treasures not too far -our room surprisingly quiet and air/con efficient -we had a very warm week

The beds were rather hard but probably good for our backs. Not a big problem We had some gurgling noises after flushing the toilet that went on for some time before settling -not an issue except if used at night and sleep disturbed etc As we were there a week a kettle for tea and coffee making facilities would have been preferable. But what was offered on booking.com was promised

A well loved old villa, it’s the perfect location for exploring Rome. Walking distance from the rail terminus, you have easy access to the airport and all transport around the city. Plus, you’re surrounded by incredible cafes and restaurants. The only thing missing was a kettle, but the concierge will gladly fill a jug for you from the coffee machine. It was a perfect base to stay and good value.

A stone's throw away from Termini station. Rooms was basic (I didn't mind the old furniture, door lock etc.) but very clean and everything functioned well. There's also a safe and a small mini fridge. Bed linen and towels were spotless and changed whenever necessary. Very kind and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. There's also a nice garden area to top it all off.

Lovely family run hotel with lots of old-fashioned charm. A friendly sanctuary from the craziness of a tourist dominated central Rome. If you prefer the comfort of home over the glitziness of boring, bland chain hotels this is the place for you. Ideal central location close to Roma Termini and many affordable quality cafes/restaurants in the neighbourhood.

If you like old fashioned charm then there is nothing not to like.

My initial criteria: 24-hour check-in, overnight stay only, central location, close to the train station. I was greeted warmly late at night, it's nice. The room was simple, but everything was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable. You can leave your keys at the reception when you leave, which is a big plus for me. I was offered a free cup of coffee for breakfast (with a bun). Always friendly communication and good wishes.
