We searched extensively before booking and I don’t think you will find a better guesthouse for such a reasonable price. Proximity to the train station was perfect for getting around the city by metro/train, it was very clean, modern/recently updated, the staff (Alessandra) was so helpful and friendly, we were able to check in early, the kitchen was so handy to have as we were travelling with our 3 month old and needed to prepare and clean bottles. They even bought and set up a brand new travel crib for us!

If you forced me to find a negative, I would just say our particular room shared an entry and kitchen with one other room. There were 3 different groups of guests in that room throughout our stay. We got lucky and they were all quiet and very nice, but if you have any concerns about sharing a common space / noise from other guests, you’d be rolling the dice as you never know who will book that other room.

The location is very central, 300 meters from Termini station. Our room was quite adequate for 2 people, cleaning was done every day. The room was very clean. The host was excellent! Before our arrival and during our stay, her communication via WhatsApp was great. We had read a few bad reviews about the hot water before we arrived, but we did not have any problems. In addition, heating of the room was very good.

It would have been nice to have a mini fridge. There was no duvet, the sheet was wrapped in the bedspread and blanket together. The sheet kept slipping while sleeping and I don't think it was very sterile. It would have been better if there was a duvet and a duvet cover was put on it. We were staying in room number 1, the door lock was a little bit problematic, it might need to be fixed. Sometimes we heard noises from upstairs, we assumed it was the sewage system.

Very good location. Even though near Termini is a bit shady - the guest house is located in a good street , very near to Termini Railway station. The room we got was for families even though we were just two 2 people , so ... we were lucky to have more space :) :) :) In the flat there were only 2 apartments, so it was quiet. The host lady was coming every day to check-up and to clean the trash. Towels and sheets are not change daily, but this can't be expected in a guest house, so I think it's ok.

There were some issue with the hot water in the shower. Most of the time the water was lukewarm. Only by waiting patiently and .. I think long enough - some hot water came, but just for a short time. We addressed the issue, but it wasn't resolved. Hope this was something temporarily. Except of that - everything else was very good. :)

I was in a single room with a small bathroom (shower included). The room is part of a flat restructured to work as a small inn (affittacamere). The place was overall nice and clean. Perfect location just minutes from the main train station in Rome, and minutes from La Sapienza (main Rome University, where I had my duties).

I couldn't claim the place was quiet (because of outside noises), but the noise wasn't at the level of being unpleasant - and hey - it is possibly the noisiest neighbourhood in Rome: what do you expect?. I found the price high in absolute terms (but, to be fair, one of the cheapest in the same area and period).

The house is located on a quiet street but in a great, central location across from Termini station and close to a lot of the historic monuments (Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum). My room was so clean and they tidied it up for me every day! The room had coffee and an amazing bathroom.

I travelled for work, and I pretty much liked everything. The staff was nearly ideal by my geek's standard, because it was basically invisible. I got clear and efficient instruction on how to get in, how to check out, and subsequently negotiated via the chat about the kind of the invoice I needed for the company, and that again was productive and efficient. The location is great -- just around the corner of the Termini station. Clean, air-conditioned, perfect WIFI, and in my case, cleaned every day, which was even more than promised in the description.

As a little improvement, I would suggest providing bath complementaries proportional to the length of stay. I pretty much do not care if my bed is done every day, but getting more shower gel would make a difference.

Clean, bright and nicely furnished apartment. Street next to Termini station, where from you can take all types of transport to reach historical sights, city center or airport. Neighborhood not as bed as many reviews read. We felt completely safe.

It would be useful that either there is a microwave in the kitchen or that the stove was working. Only to warm a milk or a meal, not to cook necessarily.

The hotel was self service and that worked ok in he end after som good explanations from the host. Not 100% easy but it was ok once you understood it. Perfect location for Rome exploration; walking to Termini station and subway and bus just outside, so very good and central. Very quiet room which is good.

A safe would feel good. Beds could always be softer - but that are all hotels for us.

It was close to Termini station, which was important for us. The room was big & actually had a second room with bunk beds for our daughters. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and it was quiet, despite being near the station. There was a shared kitchen, but we had a private bathroom. It was also possible to store our luggage there, after check out.

Guest House Casa Vicenza was in the perfect location for visiting Rome, particularly if you are there for the first time or are unsure about getting around. It was close to Termini station and the Metro which made visiting all the sites a lot easier. The Guest House was absolutely lovely and very clean. The communication and instructions provided were clear and helpful. Everyone was so kind and considerate. We would definitely recommend Guest House Vicenza.
