The experience was excellent overall. Our host, Sandro, messaged us as soon as we landed, welcoming us to Rome. We took a transfer to the hotel where the host was waiting for us, taking us to our room, showing us around and giving some great tips for our trip! The breakfast table was very well stocked and we had snacks and drinks available for free in the room, which was clean, warm and cozy. The location is a big plus too - there is a bus stop in front of the b&b but we could walk almost everywhere (except to visit the colosseum, which is a bit far). The view to St. Peter's basilica is amazing. One last note: our room was non refundable and we initially booked it for April, however we had an emergency about 2 weeks before the trip and couldn't make it. As we messaged Sandro, he was super flexible and let us reschedule to December right away. The stay exceeded my expectations and it's excellent value for money

The pillows were a bit hard, but nothing dramatic at all, we could still sleep very comfortably. The hairdyer was a bit old too and it would stop in the middle of drying our hair. Just these small details, but again, they didn't stop us from having a great stay

Hosts were extra nice, as all reviews say! Our trip was delayed 5h due to road accidents, and they waited for us for check in. Room was small, warm, clean and comfy - all we needed as we were here for 4 days. If you have lots of luggage, check with them to get you a room which has more space. Cleaning is every day, and when you step out on street you can see Vatican. Store is below the apartment so it is super convenient. Bus 916 takes you to center in 15 minutes, but make sure you buy ticket on "trafika" before getting in. All in all, great stay and kind hosts.

Just a friendly note: in case you are on keto or diabetic/low carb diet - my recommendation is to go to store and buy stuff for breakfast as most items in the kitchen (that is available all the time) are carbs based. You can use microwave to heat up food but cooking is not possible. However, there are lots of local food places around the corner, explore them, food is great!

Everything excellent.My family very enjoyed the stay at The Colour of Rome.Room is big and cleaning everyday.The owner Max very kind always ask if I need anything he will get it for me right away.Breakfast free whole day and the fridge always restocked milk,juice and yogurt.The price very reasonable for more than what you expected.We just left The Color of Rome and move to another hotel at Paris with higher price but very small room,no fridge and pay higher.I will suggest you guys stay at The Color of Rome is the best family own hotel in my life.You never regret to pay for it.

Our stay was very nice and comfortable. Super close to the train station, grocery stores and lots of restaurants. The bus stop is a ONE minute walk which can take you right into the center of Rome. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Vatican. The breakfast is continental style which was fine. Lots of coffee, fruit and snacks that were available anytime. Building felt safe. Rooms were up on the second level. There is an elevator as well as stairs. You need three different keys to get into your room. One for the Building, one for the main entrance of the B&B and one for the room.

Wonderful hosts and a great apartment! The hosts met us and provided a nice overview of the apartment, and got us directions for getting around and taking the bus (which we used several times). We were located within a quick walk of the Vatican and an easy bus ride to other tourist areas like Campo de Fiori and the Colosseum. The rooms were nicely done, with AC in each - and and AC in the living space. The kitchen had lots of goodies for us to eat - very appreciated!! The hosts even helped us book a ride service to and from the airport. The apartment was very secure. Loved it!!!

Just for our taste, the beds and pillows were a little too firm. But other than that, we loved everything and would definitely stay again and again!

Very good location, 10 min walk from the Vatican, bus stop in front of the location, from where you take the bus that takes you to the heart of historic Rome for 1.5 euros/person. Large room with 3 beds, fridge in the room, water, milk, juice, sweets in the room. Cleaning is done every day, towels changed. I would return to this location again.

It was ok, the breakfast is more sweet, probably some salami or prosciutto for a sandwich would have been better. But this also depends on each person's habits.

Very good " basecamp " to explore the city. Not expensive, very clean and cosy. Bus stop in front of the building, St. Pietro railway station 5 min. walk, Vatican- 15 min.. Basic italian breakfast. Fridge with fresh juice everyday. But the most important thing- hosts. Great, helpful people. Thank you Sandro for your help with everything, especially with the airport transport. Thank you Massimo for fresh juice everyday. Many thanks to the lady, please forgive me I don't remember her name, who tided up the room every day. Thank you Gianni and Lydmyla for very fast and safe transport from and to the airport. We will come back for sure! (because of unexpected ekspenses I haven't bought Totti's match shirt, it's a good reason to visit Rome again😉).

It was a wonderful stay for us. We were 5 adults and four kids between 12 and 14 years old. we have stayed at the colours house and one double room. At colours house we felt like we are at home. Sandro from the facility contacted with us one day before and asked if we need anything. With this approach we thought that we are at safe 🤗. He was really very helpful. We had 1,5 days and he made us a perfect program. He thought everything about breakfast. Even he changed all bacons with Turkey and chicken when we said that we are Muslim. There were two bath and 4 and 3 person families stayed very comfortably. All air Conditions were new and worked excellent. The location was also super perfect . There were many restaurants , bars , pharmacy event Carrefour. Again specifical thanks to Sandiro.

Very accessible to the Vatican, grocery stores, food and transport! The hosts are super nice and readily available if you need them. They even helped us booked a transport to and from the airport. They also provided breakfast, lots of supplies and towels. Those smells fresh and clean. The property in itself is big enough, so spacious and safe.

I love the property. I'd like to have aofter pillows, they are big and I like them. I could have requested it, am sure they will provide.

We stayed three nights at The Colores of Rome and had a great experience. The location is perfect—very close to the Vatican and with easy bus access to the city center. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast room offered a large variety of food each morning. Sandro was very friendly and gave us helpful tips about Rome, which made our visit even better. Highly recommended!
