We absolutely loved our stay at B&B Residenza Gregorio VII! The room was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. One of our favorite features was the balcony – perfect for a quiet morning coffee or relaxing in the evening after a day of exploring Rome. It really added a special touch to the stay. The location is excellent – peaceful, yet within easy walking distance to the Vatican and public transport. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome. Everything was well-organized, and we had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! 😍🇮🇹

The instructions and entry ot the property were super clear and helpful. Wifi was great and speedy enough to enjoy youtube/instagram in the evenings when I was resting. The easy breakfast ordering was great and always delivered on time to the rooms. Rooms themselves were clean, tidy and enough space for me traveling solo. Location was excellent - 10 minutes walk to St Peter's Basilica and Vatican City. Train station and bus stops nearby for longer excursions.

There was some noise in the mornings or evenings when people were coming or going but there was nothing that ruined my experience of the stay.

Overall, the room was pleasant, featuring a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The location was excellent, just a short distance from Vatican City, which we enjoyed visiting multiple times during our stay. We also appreciated the convenience of having a supermarket right next to the accommodation.

The heating in the room was insufficient, making it uncomfortably cold the first two days. The electric heater took a long time to warm up the space and was only on when we were in the room, which didn’t provide consistent warmth. As for breakfast, it was adequate for a B&B, offering the basics to start the day.

Don't look any further than this place, just book it and enjoy Rome! We had 2 reservations and we picked up this place in the end because of the good reviews (even tho location looked a bit away from main atractions). Apartment is very secure and it is just 3 min walk from San Pietro Station (train) and 3 min walk to a bus station (10 mins to center). Vatican is just 10 min casual walk also. We were here for 5 days and we only walked so really you are very versatile with this place. Best thing about this place is its owners. Daniele and her cool husband were very very nice to us, they bring you breakfast in a room every morning, they are non intrusive but always ready to chat, always smiling - really nice and cool couple (in marriage for 51 years x) ). Rooms were also very clean, with small fridge and nice spacious bathroom, beds and pillows are very comfortable (and I usually have problems when sleeping in other hotels/apartments). For people that smoke, you have nice little terrace in front of the apartments where you can hang out. All in all, if you book this place you won't regret it.

We were on ground floor so there was a lot of street noise sometimes but we had our windows open all the time (we don't want to sleep with air condition ON). If you sleep eith AC on, maybe it is less noise. Also breakfast is basic, so don't expect some fancy stuff, but for the price it was more than enough to start a morning, so try to think that breakfast here is just a complementary bonus for guests.

Lovely bed & breakfast in a quiet area at walking distance from Vatican city. Breakfast was served in the room and we could enjoy it on the balcony. The staff was very kind and helpful. The gate and front door had a code, so it was easy to get in even if the reception was not open the whole day. Small supermarket on 1 minute walking distance. Space was fine for a short stay with nice weather but maybe a bit small for three people if you'd stay longer or if you cannot go on the balcony.

Very welcoming and kind staff allways ready to assist. Check-in/out were excelent. The location is perfect. 100 m walking distance to San Pietro train station. Local bus station is next street. It is easy to travel to all attractions. Vatican and Saint Peter sq are 10 minutes walking distance. Good restaurants in the vicinity. Our room was daily cleaned. Carefour is 20 m in next building.

Friendly and welcoming Lovely breakfast brought to room Really close to the Vatican and an easy and pretty walk to Rome centre through Vatican City. Handy little supermarket just behind the accommodation Fridge in room which we used to keep milk in for cups of tea. Nice balcony with room and larger shared seating area downstairs. You could just see the dome from our balcony if you peered under the tree

We liked everything

Very good location, it´s close to St. Peter's Basilica and there is a church right in the next street (if you wish to attend a holy mass on Sunday), just a 5-minute walk to bus stops (a train station is just a few steps from the property, but we had no need to use a train), a supermarket is located right in the next building, plus you can find delicious Italian food nearby.

We were at the beginning of March when the weather was still cold and this meant it was quite cold in our room too.

The property was charming, both comfortable and very clean. Well located near Vatican City and close to the San Pietro train station. Continental breakfast was delicious (and brought to your room!). The hostess Danielle was precious, so friendly and helpful.

I have no complaints.
