Ciasa Roby is the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. The hotel is located in an ideal location, just a 5-minute walk from the ski lift, and there is a free storage area for skis and ski boots right next to the ski lift. The hotel is very charming and the rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is great. However, the best part of this hotel is the staff who are incredibly kind, hospitable and friendly. Everyone tries to make your stay comfortable and you truly feel like you are at home. Unfortunately, during our stay at this hotel my boyfriend broke his leg while skiing but the staff was 100% available to us at any time. They did everything they could to make the rest of his stay easier. Giorgio, the hotel manager, even carried him up the stairs with the help of two other hotel guests. It's heartwarming to come across people who are willing to help, especially people as genuinely positive, helpful and accommodating as Giorgio. A big greeting to all the staff at Ciasa Roby - we're looking forward to coming back, hopefully next time without any broken bones! :D

This was a solo stay for me, and I have to say that the team here really took care of me. From the manager to the waitstaff, I was taken care of. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. I loved their nightly menus; the portions were hearty, and the soup I had both nights, along with the black truffle ravioli and eggplant parmesan, was perfection! Compliments to the chef! So it was perfect after a long day of hiking or getting ready for a long day of hiking (breakfast). I loved the room, it was mountain elegance and charm, and quite comfortable. Parking was easy to access; they have a garage that is easy to maneuver in. I would come back here with my husband and our dog, as I noticed they were dog friendly, and I LOVE THAT! The last thing I loved was the access to all the hiking trails in the area. You are close to a lot of great walking/hiking trails.

We loved everything about Casa Rioby. Giorgio was a charming and welcoming host who offered great advice throughout our stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with lovely mountain views from the balcony. The food was excellent and we especially enjoyed relaxing with drinks on the patio after biking and hiking. The location was perfect—just a short walk to several restaurants in the quaint town, and the bike rental shop was only a stone’s throw away.

Giorgio is the best host we’ve ever had at a hotel. He is friendly and patient and loves to talk about the area. He gave us very useful pointers and suggestions to where to explore. We had to leave early on the last day before breakfast. He prepared some stuff for us separately so we can have a bit before we left. That was very generous of him. The property is very cute. It’s in a smaller town and it’s much quieter than the other towns in the Dolomites. The room was comfortable and clean with housekeeping every day.

My three hiking friends and myself very much enjoyed our three night stay at this hotel. we found it to be an excellent value with a terrific breakfast buffet. We had dinner there two of our three nights and the food was excellent. Giorgio and his staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend Ciasa Roby.

Amazing place with the most welcoming host, Giorgio. He kindly upgraded my single room to a double, helped me with my small requests, and generously shared his knowledge about the area. The breakfast was outstanding, and all the staff members were incredibly helpful. I’d definitely return to stay again in this remote, serene location!

Amazing! Giorgio upgraded me to a double from a single (solo traveling this part). I can't say enough good things about this place. As a non-Italian speaker, I felt at home. I ate there twice. They did my laundry. Even had a free reception. Giorgio is great-- always telling stories and knows the hiking/via Ferrata in the area. San Cassiano is a special village and Ciasa Roby would always be my choice to stay.

Great location not far from ski lift. Comfortable rooms, very good breakfast and possibility to order meal for dinner - that is absolutely strong point as all food was exceptional! There is also a bar at the property, run by the owner. Big underground parking.

I had a room at the top floor, fine if you like to exercise, but climbing 3 floors up might be a problem for some people, so have it in mind booking the room.

Great location, perfect view. Enjoyed the balcony early mornings and late night. The rooms and whole place was pristine clean, spotless, well done to the amazing staff! Delicious, abondent, fresh breakfast served by the delightful, joyful staff. Giorgio, checked us in and made sure we have everything we need for the duration of our stay. He was available from the moment of the booking until the check out. Provided us with helpful advice on trips and hikes. Altogether has made our dolomitic trip a memorable one.

Can’t say there was anything that I didn’t like.

Everything was excellent! They helped us with everything we wanted to do in San Cassiano. Breakfast and dinner are high class (seriously), the kindness of the staff is awesome, and the place is really cozy (like being in your own house miles away from home). We really enjoyed it.
