Great location in a small village. Short walk to several restaurants. And parking which is otherwise hard to find. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Really nothing to complain about. Great view from the hill top. The conference room is an old church. Includes a nice looking spa but we didn't use. Quiet location.

Some of the furnishings and finishes are a bit old. AC didn't work, but luckily the weather cooperated so it didn't matter. Nice outdoor patio for breakfast, too bad it is in the parking lot.

I loved my room; beautiful, spacious, white and calm decor, very feminine. View over the adjacent church and tower, and the hills beyond. The hotel has a panoramic viewing point, astounding at night. Sumptuous breakfast array of fresh delicacies and eclectic crockery. The spa jet pool on the terrace for cooling off in. The exuberant big puppy in the lobby! Great location, wonderful old hotel in former convent.

Not much, but the air con wasn't working and it was hot weather, over 30 degrees. My bathroom had a jet bath, but I couldn't get it to work. No power point by the bed.

Breakfast was good. Service for coffee was slow. We let the hotel know it was our 10 year anniversary and that we had held our pre wedding dinner there for 50 people. I was disappointed there was no message in our room or amenity. We also had a very plain room. It would have been a lovely gesture to have upgraded us. We work in travel and know how important these things are.

The reception staff are very helpful. The location is fab.

The location is in town. Our room was large and clean. The breakfast staff. The breakfast staff and clerk in the morning were very nice and accommodating

Upon arrival, the staff seemed indifferent to us and when we asked about the spa we were told we needed to make a 24 hour ahead appointment. I ask if it was possible to see if we could visit we were told flatly “no” without even trying to call the spa to see if it was possible.

The room was nice and clean with a large comfortable bed, and free bottled water. The all-included breakfast was magnificent. It had everything from yogurt and museli, to fancy cakes, to cheese and meats. There is a barista for making coffee. I had three cappuccinos. What a perfect way to start the day in a Tuscan town.

Getting to Hotel San Miniato from the train station requires a taxi.

Right in the village, super clean, comfortable, modern decor, it has a very small pool, and really good breakfast. Great staff. Highly recommend

It would be great if they provided water in the rooms as they take care of everything else. I was there in very hot weather in August so lots of water necessary. There's no fridges or kettles in the room but the breakfast is very nice and staff very very helpful

Great location, esp for VF walkers. Views were outstanding. Breakfast was a generous buffet and very nice. Reception area and dining room showed off the beautiful architecture

Unfortunately there was only one power point in the bathroom and one on floor near door. So inconvenient for charging phone and meant the room could not include a kettle. Shower was tiny. But none of these were deal breakers - still enjoyed myself and wld still recommend

Great hotel with perfect location to explore Tuscany both by car and to take the train to either Pisa or Florence. The hotel is family run and the breakfast is really, really good. San Miniato Alto also has great places to eat within a short walk.

- My Room was not well insulated, and there was a constant noise that last the whole night. Not a problem for me, per se, as I’d sleep anywhere, but it may be an issue for some.

Lovely hotel in the centre of San Miniato at the top of the hill. Lots of character and a modern setting amid the old buildings. Bed very comfortable and bathroom was clean. Breakfast buffet was good - plenty of choice.
