Well, where to start! Before l start, the STAR OF THIS HOTEL l is Ioanna! The help we got from her was out of this world. From the little things as to finding the entrance, to booking and recommending restaurants, all of it. True and genuine feeling of a FIVE STAR SERVICE. This was the first time ever where l couldnt wait to get to write this review. From the moment you book to the moment you leave, the feeling of this place never leaves you. The facilities, cleanliness, peace and quiet, all was there. Surroundings are amazing, hotel is perfectly nested in it and the rooms are so cosy. Cant say enough good things, we will be coming here again!

Beautiful hotel. Very clean everywhere. It’s a nice small hotel and was very quiet when we were here. Great location with some good restaurants nearby which is good as the restaurant does not serve dinner. Good views of the Tuscan countryside.

It was very quiet… almost too quiet. There is no bar, just a waiter who floats about. He said, “ I am the bar”. He disappears in the late afternoon so you can’t get a drink in the evening unless you get one from the fridge in your room. The hotel is silent in the evenings and there’s no one to be seen. It’s feels of like there’s been a murder and all of the guests suspect each other.

First thing what comes to my mind is the stuff. All were really pleasant and helpful but I would like to honor Valentino. He was the most fantastic stuff member we met in our entire trip. Helpful, dedicated to his work, extremely nice and always smiling! This guy really deserves a rise and I’m telling this because I used to be a waiter/bartender few years back and I know this job from “the sheets” and how challenging this job can be.

A truly relaxing break in such a beautiful setting - the photos do not do it justice. Definitely a treat but worth the expense. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed all of the facilities: pool, spa, gardens, food / bar. Yes, the hotel kitchen only does breakfast and lunch but (1) there is a good bar menu to go with sundowners and (2) there are plenty of great restaurants nearby which the staff are happy to recommend / book. And their help is readily offered - we booked a cooking class and taxis through reception, and found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is isolated (which adds to its charm), so we would recommend hiring a car so that you're not limited to taxis and can take the odd day trip around Tuscany during your stay, to nearby San Miniato or even Lucca / Florence / Pisa / Livorno which are all within an hours' drive or so.

A small thing but the only complimentary water received was a half bottle each on arrival, and it was expensive to purchase thereafter. With peer hotels offering free bottled water each day and on request, this was a surprise and felt slightly out of touch given the cost of the stay. But it certainly did not ruin our week!

EVERYTHING! This place was absolutely amazing. I cannot reccommend it enough. The staff were wonderful, the location was absolutely BREATHTAKING, the room was great. It was the holiday of dreams.

The only thing we did not like was having to leave this wonderful place...

The accommodation was fantastic, beautiful with a lovely garden and clean pool. As for the food, we had breakfast and a light snack for lunch, and travelled to nearby villages for dinner (the accommodation doesn't offer a restaurant for dinner, but we didn't mind this at all as it gives you the opportunity to explore the surrounding local excellent restaurants) - the food was amazing. The managers of the accommodation always provided us with great tips for trips and restaurants, we really appreciated that.

The grounds were beautifully kept and the scenery was breathtaking. The uniqueness of the property was very refreshing. It had a luxury yet relaxed feel with nature as the backdrop. The breakfast was outstanding.

Some of the surrounding roads were not in the best shape and the location was a little remote.

Beautiful hotel, amazing grounds, stunning views, just lovely. Felt very luxurious. Staff were amazingly helpful in organising taxis and helping us out. Food and drinks were excellent. Pool was just beautiful, I could have stayed in there all day. Thanks so much - hope to come back someday!

Not easy to get to - we didn't think to book a taxi and there weren't any available in San Miniato on a Sunday. The hotel were really helpful in getting us one but otherwise we would have been stuck!

The staff were amazing and didn’t hesitate to help us with anything we needed. The hotel and location are beautiful, perfect for a relaxing holiday. We would 100% come back!

What an amazing place to stay! The surroundings, staff and facilities.. oh that was a treat! Its not cheap, but definitely worth it for a night or two! We will be back!
