This is the best B&B we have stayed with my wife so far. While other places in the region range above 1000 EUR per 7 nights, De Maria managged to stay below that rate and this is the least of the benefits of staying at De Maria. First, the staff is absolutely friendly, starring Teresa De Maria, the owner, who is absolutely delightful and welcoming. We were always warmly greeted daily and they were always willing to give us the best recommendations about what to do and how to move around (beaches, places, food, transport, etc). Second, they also coordinated our trip to Capri, we were picked up at the B&B and also the scooter rental, they took the scooter to the B&B, we didn't have to go anywhere. Third, the breakfast has everything, vegetables like tomato, cucumber and carrots, and also eggs, coffee and a wide option of cheeses, breads and spreads. We asked for bottles of water and they gave them for free. Finally, our room was absolutely clean and tidy everyday. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and we felt like home. It was just absolutely amazing!

Loved everything from warm Italian hospitality to beautiful views from our balcony, spotless room to home cooking from Nonna in this family run B&B on a hilltop in SantAgata. Included secured parking is perfect. Giusy arranged a boat tour to Capri with pick up and drop off so we could have a stress free day visiting this famous island. We ate 2 delicious dinners with local wine here--also lovingly prepared by Nonna and her daughter. So reasonably priced! Varied yummy breakfast everyday. Also close to the Amalfi coast drove to Positano then boat to Amalfi. So many options including bus stop out front. Wonderful all around.

We stayed at this amazing place for 2 days and we loved it a lot ♥️ felt like home and the staff were super nice and friendly. We met this lovely grandma who did most of the cooking and she was super nice. Always came to us whenever we had meals to check if we are happy with the food and if it tastes good 🤗 they even guided us with the bus timetable and giving us some valuable tips when travelling to our planned cities around. Place was super clean and not to forget food was so delicious 😋 If anyone would love to experience a home like place with full attention towards all your requests while travelling to Sorrento, this is the perfect place you wouldn’t want to miss ♥️ Looking forward to see them again soon 🤗

Nothing noticeable

We really enjoyed our staying and 100 % sure we will come back soon! The host are amazing we were treated like a family member. We also had a traditional dinner made by the owners (you have to try the local starter plate it is unbeatable). There are tours organized by the host and we definiatly suggest the boat tour to Capri (or Amalfi, Positano) and the Pizza party workshop (if you want to learn how to make an authentic Italian pizza in a breathtaking environment). The accomodation was great and the parking place also an extra plus. Best place we ever had!

The receptionist was super sweet and helpful. Aunt de maria who was a great host and a better motherly figure, she made sure we got everything vegetarian and she made sure we had plenty to choose from. They provided vegetables, butter, cheese, fruits, yoghurt, bread and juices for us to enjoy. They even gave us a box of gluten-free cookies as we couldn't eat any of the desserts served. When we checked out, she also sent us off with a made sandwich, two pieces of fruit for each of us, which was such a sweet touch. Their fruits are handpicked and are so juicy! The room was neat all the time.

The offered room could've been slightly bigger. Important note-we were offered a bigger room in the basement which could've been in a better state, we felt the rooms on the reception floor were better equipped and maintained so we chose the first room.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms were new, modern, and well-equipped, with a balcony offering a beautiful view. The included breakfast was excellent, with a rich variety of fresh vegetables, eggs, juices, yogurt, cakes, coffee, and more. Dinner was equally impressive — we ordered dishes made locally in the authentic Italian tradition, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

The b&b's family is very welcoming and gives great service and advice. The room is very clean and spacious. I've slept perfect in the confortable bed and the airconditioning was a big plus in the summer months. The b&b has a big parking lot, so no worries about parking a car. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the bus system works quite well.

No big issues, but some things to take into account. The b&b is outside the village of sant agata. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk. Parking (availability and price) is a major issue in the sorrento península in summer so the bus (or a scooter) is your best bed although less efficient. The b&b has a lot of (unused) potential for the use of communal/outside space

The cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly staff, the delicious breakfast, and the beautiful view made our experience truly enjoyable. Waking up to the sound of cocks and birds outside was a delightful touch that added to the charm of our stay.

We found the distance from the hotel to the center of Sorrento to be quite far. This made it challenging for us to easily access the main attractions and restaurants in the area.

Our stay at De Maria House Bed & Breakfast was an absolute delight! A charming place with a warm atmosphere, spotless and comfortable rooms, and incredibly kind hosts. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh and delicious breakfast, served with great attention to detail. The location is perfect for exploring the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and Naples. Highly recommended – we would gladly come back!

Room had a comfy bed and pillows, a view of the stone pine for nature lovers like me, a desk you could actually work from, a closet with a full-length mirror, the AC. It’s located between Sorrento and Amalfi and guides that pick up and drop off. Sita busses go in both directions. But above all, it’s the staff. They are so kind and generous! You feel like you’re visiting family. Every morning, you get a fresh breakfast, omelette or hard boiled eggs and made-to-order cappuccinos.
