We have been coming 4 years to Sant'Agata and Hotel O Sole Mio. For me, it is the best hotel in the surroundings and an excellent location if you want to visit the Amalfi Coast/Sorrento/Capri. Excellent location, walking distance from town and lots of restaurants. The staff is amazing and help you with everything! They made our stay so special! We stayed in the apartment with 2 bedrooms and it was so spacious. Beautiful private garden as well. Lots of space around the swimming pool, nice garden bar en the breakfast is excellent (and beautiful terrace as well). I would recommend 10/10!

The hotel is about 20 minutes up the hills from Sorrento main town. The Hotel is excellent with great helpful staff. I couldn't fault our stay!! The Hotel runs a shuttle service into Sorrento. This could be more frequent, but not the end of the World. As a worst case, if you have to take a taxi it is 65 euros. During our four day stay, we chose to take a taxi on two occasions. This cost was balanced to the overall cost of our stay, which was reasonable as a whole for such a busy time.

I had a wonderful stay here. Staff were really friendly and helpful. My apartment was beautiful and clean with all the amenities needed. Location was decent nice quiet peaceful area and not so far to get into Sorrento we used bus some days and was accessible. Restaurant onsite in hotel was nice aswell I had an amazing stay and would defo return back. Huge praise for the wonderful service by the staff communication was always good and fast thankyou very much for your service

The food was delicious and the room was immaculately clean. Excellent customer service from all staff, with a special mention for Canidia (apologies if I am mispelling your name) and head waiter Tony. Nothing was too much trouble and they were really helpful and kind. All the small touches including the packed lunch for my early departure/long day travelling after check out, info on local tours, bus times etc were really appreciated.

The shuttle bus to and from Sorrento doesn't start until June which means that if you don't have access to a car you are reliant on public buses/taxis./walking.

The hotel was a very nice suprise, located in a quite area with free parking, 20 min drive from Sorrento. Spacious, comfy and clean room, cleaned daily, spotless towels changed daily, toiletries, great bathroom, good and varied buffet breakfast to suit all tastes.

We had breakfast included and paid extra 25€ per person for a 3 course dinner, the day special which was ok, but nothing special. I would have expected more flavour, specific to Italian cuisine.

A fantastic little hotel at the top of the hill over looking Sorrento and in the village of Sant Agata, which is a perfect step away from the hustle and bustle of the cities after travelling around Italy. We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had breakfast every morning and it was always well laid out, clean and enjoyable. The scrambled eggs were watery but just pick from the top, the pastries were delicious and the bacon etc were lovely and enjoyed by my whole family. The staff make this hotel what it is, Veronica on reception and the others (don't know all their names) were so so helpful and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable as do the waiters in the restaurant. The cleaning staff are amazing and everyday our room was spotless and would be done by the time we came back from breakfast!! Amazing. The pool is adjacent to the hotel, just a small walk through the hotel's pool bar where you can get drinks and food. Eating out in Sant Agata is wonderful so many little bistros and restaurants to choose from but Orlando's is a must as is Mimi's. Both exceptional and friendly.

Nothing but if I had to pick something I suppose the distance from Sorrento but with the free courtesy bus laid on by the hotel it is easily reachable and you just make your plans to accommodate the bus schedule - it would be useful to have a few more times added on to this so that you could go into Sorrento for the evening if you so wished but with the last one leaving Sorrento at 7.30pm it did make it hard to eat there for dinner. We managed it once so not impossible.

I loved the location, as it was peaceful up on the mountains, loved that fact we had a shuttle bus to take us to Sorrento a big plus and Candida and Veronica, receptionist, were lovely and very helpful. Candida particularly, as our flight was delayed for 3 hours in England and we missed our excursion the next day, Candida sorted out another excursion on the same day and we had the hotel personal bus to get us to the meeting place. The dinner was reasonably priced and good standard the breakfast was very good with a good variety.

The local town village St Agata 1.5 Km difficult to walk as all up hill and very hot, if you wanted to visit or get basic groceries. Oh also no tea coffee in the room, we asked and were given a kettle had to provide our own tea and milk.

Lovely hotel, we had our own full equipped apartment cottage with a large back yard and table and chairs. a short walk to the pool and cafe/bar on site. this property had everything we needed. 5 min walk to the small town for restaurants, a shop and bars.

The property itself is located at least 20 minutes from Sorrento town and the property does offer a free shuttle service which is great but only during certain times of the year and at certain times of the day. if you arrive before June 1st you will need to pay €60 min for taxis to and from.

The hotel was located in a nice quiet area, nice views of the city and the mountains/sea. The hotel looks clean, well kept and spacious. The common areas are inviting and the pool area was relaxing. The staff are all friendly and well informed. From reception staff to the restaurant and cleaners they always have a smile on their faces and very friendly.

The staff were fantastic, so welcoming and helpful, Candida, Veronica and Marco on reception and Tony the Maitre D in the restaurant made our 11 night stay really enjoyable.

The walls were very thin between rooms so you could hear conversations quite clearly. Would be good to have the free shuttle bus all year round as the walk back up the hill from the village is quite steep!
