The view has always been superb which is why this was my fourth visit. The food has vastly improved and there is a new Manager who was very nice. There are lovely extra touches like everyone getting their own water bottle which you can fill up every day. The breakfast is even nicer with nice touches now like chia seeds, flax seeds etc to sprinkle on the many cereals and mueslis . The evening meal is now taken outside on their wonderful terrace with the fabulous views instead of the restaurant where you have breakfast which is a brilliant idea. The staff were all delightful and it is wonderful to use the hotel's minibus to go up and down to Sorrento.

I booked the dependency room as it was the only one available at the time of booking and when I checked it I liked the fact it was right near the pool but they moved us to a room round the back saying it was a better room which it wasn't as it only had a partial sea view. The other room one could see the pool and the sea from the large terrace. I just wish they had told me in advance as I had no choice.

I had a perfect experience checking in to the hotel. The process was smooth and quick, with the front desk staff being exceptionally welcoming and professional. Everything was ready upon arrival, and I was in my room within minutes. The staff took the time to explain the amenities and answered all my questions with a smile. It was one of the easiest and most pleasant check-ins I’ve had—truly set the tone for a great stay. Went out of their way to make sure our rooms were next to each other and made up to suit our arrangement. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed, with stunning surroundings that made every day feel special. The staff truly went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Whether it was arranging activities, offering helpful recommendations, or simply greeting us with a smile, their attention to detail and warm hospitality made all the difference. We felt genuinely cared for and completely relaxed. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!

Exceptional old world gracious hotel in a fantastic country setting, so peaceful. Beyond beautiful scenery. Everyone agreed food needs to be dramatically improved; most was not good, even awful but a few dishes were very good. The breakfast buffet is huge and that is very nice. They have a free shuttle ( book at front desk) several times a day down to Sorrento and back, which is fantastic. If you have a bad back the bathrooms in the rooms are a bit difficult, no back on the toilet seat and other inconveniences but overall I still loved the hotel for its ambience and location,

The food

The hotel had a lovely setting looking over to Mount Vesuvius in the distance. It reminded me of an Agatha Christie setting!! Breakfast was good, basically the same each day though and the hot stuff wasn't that hot (due to people not closing the lid probably) However you could order freshly made stuff which was nice. Staff was excellent very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel and there is plenty of places for you to eat and drink within the village, a 5 min walk

A few things that could be made better are :- The shuttle bus down to Sorrento was a great service took about 20 mins - felt the return journeys could be improved as there was a big gap between from 12.00 until 16.30 and also the last returning bus was 19.45 so you couldn't really have an evening in Sorrento. You could pay for a taxi but they were expensive. The Terrace - felt was out abounds while they were setting up for the evening meal therefore you couldn't just sit there having a drink relaxing and take in the views as the staff were buzzing around setting up. The Manager seemed to go and speak to guests, not sure as were were only B&B he didn't really make an effort with us but he seemed to be attentive to others, which the guests appreciated (personal touch)

We were only here two nights but I wish it was longer. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Very informative too of the area. The room was a great size for three people and very clean. We had a balcony with a great view of Naples Bay and Mt. Vesuvius. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options and the staff was always happy to help. I would stay here again for sure. The property was even better than the photos.

The hotel shuttle doesn’t pick you up at the train station and it was a little confusing on how to get it. Once I was able to contact the hotel via WhatsApp we were able to catch the next one.

I can't describe enough, the staff was excellent, the location is beautiful and the hotel was magnificent. You will LOVE it here. I hope to come back.

I cannot think of anything that made me think "don't come back" - just be prepared that you are a little bit away from being in the center. For some that could be a negative, for me it was a total win! So that's not a dislike, just listing here should it bother some. I fell in love with the area.

We stayed here for four nights and loved every moment! The location is about 20 minutes from the city center, but the complimentary shuttle made getting back and forth easy and stress-free. The pool was fantastic, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The on-site restaurant not only served great food but also offered a stunning view to enjoy while dining. Overall, our stay was relaxing, convenient, and memorable. Highly recommend!

The pool area was lovely with an amazing view. The terrace restaurant serves delightful and affordable food. The staff are so attentive and perfected our stay. The shuttle bus is often into the town taking 20 minutes.

If you would like to go into the town a lot then the distance from the town may not be best. However, there is also a village a short walk from the hotel which you can get dinner, gelato and any essentials from.

Where do I begin ... my two sons, my sister and myself stayed here the last week of June 2024 for 4 nights. We had a fantastic experience at this immaculately clean, well organized and tranquil situated hotel. The excellent staff, Ilaria, Martha and Clara, always available and happy to assist. The manager Renato is the most friendly and attentive manager who made us feel like VIP. He and his fabulous staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome! A true gem. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom extremely clean, with comfy bathrobes and slippers. The grounds, the terraces, the restaurants, the choice at breakfast fantastic, the pool area well maintained and clean, sunbeds and towels provided. The views spectacular. The hotel is situated in the small charming town of Sant’Agata where you get a real sense of authenticity. The path to the village was a short walk to enjoy the many restaurants and beautiful shops. If shopping for 100% quality linen Made in Italy, stop in at EUREKA! Signora Serafina and her daughter are simply amazing people. We will definately stay here again. Big thank you to Renato for the many laughs and to the amazing staff!!

Everything. The staff were absolutely amazing. They were professional, polite and very accomadating. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The hotel itself is a work of art. It's beautiful with the most amazing views. Although a bit far away from the city center, having a shuttle service was a great benefit because commuting in Sorento can be expensive if you don't like inconveniences.

Our room perhaps was a bit smaller than others..but not much of an issue. The cleanliness of the place more than made up for it.
