The pictures are real. These are the views from the hotel. As the host says as you enter the gates - 'Welcome to my Paradise' A beautiful old pensione-style hotel surrounded by 500 olive trees. My room was large and cool (it gets hot. in Sorrento) with an amazing view down to Sorrento and across the bay to Vesuvius in the distance. The exposed rock of the cliff and the big comfortable four post bed meant it was a really lovely place to be. Secure outer door and insect mesh meant leaving the inner doors open and listenting to the night. You are not in the town so no cars or traffic noise. The bathroom was very clean with a great (large - 2 people +) proper hot shower. The host - was AMAZING. Beond helpful and nothing too much trouble. He collected me and others from a cafe near the station and was happy to shuttle guests down into the town in the morning too. He collects from the town at 9,10 & 11PM so you can enjoy the evenings in the town with no Taxi fares. Try the restaurants he recommends too... He also runs one of the excursion agents in the town so you get personal service for booking tours and visits to nearby sites and coastal towns. The one-day Capri boat tour is highly recommended. Breakfast is a simple affair but with freshly baked breads, local foods and olive oil from the trees around you. The terrace view is one of the best too. This was a two-day business stay due to a local conference. But I'm already planning and booking my return to stay here again in October 2024. I cannot wait!

Extremely friendly and helpful host! We had an issue with our car reaching the hotel, but the host arrived promptly and assisted us right away. Our advice to anyone traveling here is to rent a small, powerful car, as the ride up is quite challenging. The rooms are clean and cozy, with magnificent views. Breakfast is authentically Italian, and when we asked, we were even provided with freshly made scrambled eggs. Since the hotel is located high up, the owner kindly offers free rides from an agreed spot every evening at 9 PM and 10 PM, which is a huge convenience. Overall, a brilliant experience – highly recommended!

Property has a stunning view. We loved it at night too, and the fireflies which flitted around. Lovely location for breakfast. We really appreciated our host, Gianluigi's energy, engagement, friendliness and willingness to provide transport to and from the town. Walking down the hill into town was pleasant but without the transport up the hill this place would not be viable.

The bed was quite hard, although this can be personal taste. Breakfast could have been improved by some fruit, and fresh juice. There were no glasses, corkscrews, etc. at all in the room.

Everything! Casarufolo Paradise is a beautiful, quiet location overlooking Sorrento with Napoli in the background along with Mt. Vesuvius. What's not to like? The property is beautifully maintained with a veranda and a vine covered patio. Breakfast was much more than a box of juice and a biscuit. Then there's the staff, everyone was very pleasant and efficient. It's better than home away from home.

Due to its splendid location, it is necessary to coordinate transportation up and down the hill to Sorrento. This was never an issue for us. Gianluigi was never far away to make transportation easy.

The “Paradise” of Gianluigi is a place where you hear the birds singing when you wake up and open the window; Casarufolo offers a magnificent view of the sea, Mont Vesuviu and the town, from up! Sorrento and the other places from the region are very busy and noisy with a lot of tourists, that’s why, Casarufolo was the best place for us to stay, quite and we felt at home! Gianluigi is a very friendly person, who made everything to be perfect for us! He helped us with everything we needed! We felt like Gianluigi is a very good friend of us! Thank you, Gianluigi, for everything! For sure we’ll stay in Casarufolo everytime we’ll be back in Sorrento! Grazie mille, Gianluigi! The best for you, with love, Raisa, Tuca and Anda!

Lovely property, good rooms, in traditional style and furniture. View was amazing and terrace is lovely where you have breakfast

Didn’t dislike but you have to bear in mind that this property is high up on the hill/mountain, so if driving - have to be mindful how difficult road is but Gianluigi who runs the place will come and get you when needed, but if you are out in the evening- you would have to be at meeting point at 9 pm or 10 pm to be collected so was limited how long you are out for to enjoy the night

Loved the secluded location on the side of the mountain overlooking Sorrento. Views during day and night were absolutely incredible. Our host, Gianluigi, was always available to shuttle us up and down the mountain into town and helped us secure reservations for a day trip to Capri and dinner reservations. Family enjoyed breakfast every morning overlooking the town. Kids loved staying there. Room was great and A/C worked perfectly. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Coming from USA, beds were firm but this is standard for Europe.

This really was paradise. Beautiful peaceful location with the most amazing views of Sorrento and Vesuvius. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the gardens and the view. Lovely to sit in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine watching the fire flies. Gianluigi was a fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to drive us down into Sorrento if we didn't fancy walking and was always available to pick us up in the evening. We would definitely recommend this property.

Stunning views, great rooms & spotlessly clean. The rides up to the property were part of the fun! Gianluigi looked after us very well & was happy to pick up & give lifts down also. It was a beautiful spot & much needed calm in mid August, when everywhere else was so busy. Would really recommend staying here - true Italian hospitality! Thank you Gianluigi 👏🏼👏🏼

Loved it all! Some reviews say WiFi wasn’t great - but we had no problems at all!

This B&B property is beautifully located above Sorrento. It has a lovely terrace where breakfast is served with gorgeous views of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, the town of Sorrento and the Lattari Mountains. Our room was spacious and clean with a private outdoor seating area right in front of our door. The host, Gianluigi, is remarkable. He shuttles his guests from the property to Sorrento, just a few minutes below, as needed, is able to assist with booking guided tours to various tourist attractions, and makes sure breakfast is served with fresh brioche every day and other goodies.

At first we were a bit surprised about the steep ascent to the property on a very narrow road. But quickly this concern vanished as we realized that Gianluigi goes out of his way to shuttle his guests to and from town accommodating their schedule as best possible. We also realized that many properties share the same problem, steep ascent and narrow road to the site, simply due to the geography of the area.
