The rooms were close to the centre and you could reach it by a short walk. Our only issue was that the walk was in a very narrow street that didn’t have any sidewalk (I don’t know if there was a local street that we didn’t know about but the google maps showed only this way…). The rooms were equipped with most of the things that someone can need on vacation(towels, shampoo, coffee, tea…). We had a self check in which was simple and easy and we also met a lovely lady that worked in the rooms and helped us with any questions. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was bright and functional

It was clean and the host was very helpful. We communicated a few times throughout my stay and she was kind and willing to help. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the town center which makes it more affordable but it's a bit of a walk and the last stretch is uphill but as long as you know that prior to booking and are okay with it, it's just a good workout. It's worth it for the lower price compared to the places in the town center (and it's much more quiet). It's in an apartment building in a unit covered into multiple private rooms and you have a private code to get in. You hear a bit of your neighbours but only in certain parts and we didn't find it disruptive. I would recommend it if you are in physical shape to do the hill. We had a very nice stay.

Because it's an apartment building, if there are issues with the building itself, it's tough to deal with on the spot without asking building tenants who aren't always willing to help. We had an issue with the front door opening and we had to ask a tenant to open it but the host was quick to address it and get us keys (the door is usually automatic) so it didn't happen again.

The room was as shown in the photos - very well decorated and maintained - and definitely added to our overall experience of Sorrento. It was by far the most memorable hotel room that we stayed in during our two week stay across southern Italy. For whatever reason we were not expecting daily house keeping, so that was greatly appreciated!

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. It may be a difficult for those not using transportation (e.g., taxi) and relying on walking to get from the hotel to the downtown area and train station as it is a lot of uphill/downhill.

The property is close to the center of town, yet is tranquil and allows one to interact with locals. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and Nunzia did a great job of maintaining them clean for our party. The property had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable and at home. One thing that it did provide that no other property has is an amazing hostess. Maria Elena greeted us upon our arrival on a Sunday, and took at least an hour giving us information, tips, and suggestions as to how to make the most of our experience while in Sorrento. My family was in Sorrento to attend a wedding, and Maria Elena even booked the ladies in my family appointments with an amazing stylist and her professional team. She was so thoughtful that on the day of the wedding, she drove my family to the wedding venue so that my girls would not ruin their makeup or hair walking to the celebration in Sorrento’s sweltering heat! I only have good things to say about Maison Serena Sorrento and its great staff. My family and I truly appreciate how they made our stay in Sorrento memorable and pleasant, and we hope to stay at this property again one day soon.

Everything was perfect!

The room itself was nicely furnished and cleaned every day. We also received breakfast and coffee/tea refills. There is a small fridge in the room to store your own items if necessary. It is relatively quick to walk into the centre of Sorrento. The host was helpful in answering a couple of the questions we had although we had no physical contact with them.

Although the location is relatively close to the main town (15 minutes walk), if you are on foot you need to walk downhill into the town on a fairly narrow windy road. It is quite dangerous to do so with no pavement or footpath and cars driving quite fast down the road next to you. There were instances where we had to flatten ourselves against the wall to avoid oncoming traffic. I personally would not suggest this apartment if you plan to walk into town with children.

What was there not to like about this property? It is close to the town’s main plaza, yet is located in an area where guests will have the opportunity to mingle with local residents. The spacious and modern room had a comfortable bed, ample storage space for our belongings, great lighting, and a picturesque view of Mt. Vesuvius. The bathroom was spacious and modern as well, and I personally appreciated its powerful hairdryer and nice shower. Breakfast snack foods are provided and a coffee maker is available in the common hallway. My family and I happened to be in Sorrento to attend a wedding, and having access to a good iron was an additional plus. Our room was well cleaned every day by Nunzia and Maria Elena, our hostess, was so kind and attentive to our every need. In fact, Maria Elena shared with us so many tips and suggestions that made our stay in Sorrento pleasant and memorable.

My family and I loved everything about this property and highly recommend it.

Before arrival, we received a message from the host detailing how to get in the building with pics as well as ferry and public transport timetables, which was of course useful. The host left us croissants, cupcakes and teabags in the room, which was nice and it was also replenished on our second day. There's a shared entrance which includes a sink, dishes & cutlery, and a coffee machine. The room itself is well-decorated and spacious with an electric kettle and mini fridge. The flat is on the second floor, but thankfully there's an elevator. There's a supermarket on the way going up the hill to the building.

We arrived by ferry from Capri and there's a minibus at the port that takes you to Piazza Sant'Antonino (up the cliff) and then to the train station. From Piazza Sant'Antonino it's a 19-min walk uphill to the property (a bit outside the city)! It is also the same distance from the train station to the property. A trashcan in the room would be useful and some hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels.

Our recent stay at the beautiful Maison Serena Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast was nothing short of a dream come true. The location was absolutely perfect, 10 minutes walk from the city center. The room was clean and nice with a beautiful view over the sea and the Vesuvio Volcano. They don't offer the classical breakfast, but the small selection for a quick snack in the room every morning was nice. Additionally, the convenience of being in Sorrento meant that we could easily explore the nearby attractions and enjoy the vibrant local culture. In conclusion, our stay here was an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a perfect getaway on the Amalfi Coast, I wholeheartedly recommend this charming place. It's the perfect blend of relaxation, beauty, and convenience.

The apartment was very comfortable with a great view of Sorrento. Internet was stable and fast, and my room was going to look like my mother herself cleaned it every day, whether I liked it or not. There is a great restaurant downstairs and a short walk to another cheaper, really good one. Unless you have legs of steel, best to get a scooter or electric bike as the property is quite up hill from downtown.

We really loved our stay at Maison Serena. It had everything we needed, aircon, iron, good bathroom, mini fridge and even a tv with Netflix and all movie networks. There’s even tea and coffee machine and provide a platter of breakfast snacks. The host Elena was AMAZING to deal with. She was so kind and helpful. Any question we had even late at night she was more then happy to answer and help. She gave us advise with transport and even recommended her favourite restaurants. When we checked out she sat in the sun for 20 minutes trying to help us organise transport AND arranged for her and her friend to drop us where we need to go. And the cleaner was also amazing, she went above and beyond. The accomodation is only a 15 minute walk to the main city area and port. We really really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back if we come back to Sorrento.
