Location excellent only 12 mins walk to Ferry port and using lift to go down.. only 10 mins to Train Station Very clean Hotel Breakfast was buffet and ok. Staff were nice. Jacuzzi area in each floor and loungers were great. Elevator was easy to access. Bathroom was well equipped and Towels were plentiful and replaced daily.

The Pool - was very shallow & then extra deep at other end. Pool bar area was not used at all and would make more sense to have better bar facilities in Room by Reception area where guests could have a drink by evening or night. Pool area could do with Pots of Flowers or Colour to improve. Rooms were basic with very little storage area. Space could be better used to have drawers by bedsides or Storage under dressing table which had no purpose with an empty space.

The hotel was in an ideal location for us. We needed to be close to the centre of Sorrento for a family wedding and the hotel was within 5 - 10 mins walk from the hub of activity along Corso Italia and the train station. The staff are to be commended for their friendly welcome and hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble when asking for help with local knowledge, language and even when supplying an iron and ironing board when needed! The modern rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Bonus in the room was a small 'hub like' adapter that accepted USB, UK and European plugs! There was a good choice at breakfast and the staff were very attentive to us.

The only small draw back was that the pool was not heated. However, this did not negatively impact our stay in anyway. We visited in October when the temperature was in the low 20's, we can only imagine that if temperatures soared the pool would be greatly appreciated!

The location was brilliant, only a 5 minute walk to the centre but being up a side street rather than on the main road meant that it was quiet. The hotel was kept exceptionally clean and smart, the pool and pool area was kept very clean and tidy by the pool man. Pool towels were provided and a nice poolside bar. Our room was cleaned to a high standard every day with fresh towels daily. Breakfast was good, with a good choice of sweet and savoury options. The staff definitely made our stay, very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

The only thing we could say was that the shower cubicle in our room was quite small, if you dropped anything it was a bit snug trying to pick it up! 😊

Location was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel is on a side street ,so very quiet, which was a bonus. The helpfulness of front desk staff was exceptional. Front desk staff booked excursions for us with hotel pick up and drop off. There are plenty of choices for all tastes at breakfast, from sweet to savoury. Enjoyed the fresh fruit and Mediterranean vegetables..

On one morning one towel replaced was stained and not clean and I started to use it before realising. Otherwise, the room and hotel were both pristine with a high degree of cleanliness. I would not let this one error deter anyone from staying at Hotel Leone.

Location is perfect with very easy access to the centre and all the restaurants bars and shops and the Grande Marina which was quieter in the evening.

Very disappointed that in the day of check out we were not permitted to use the pool area for a few hours before we left unless we paid. Never happened in any hotel before and as we hadn’t used the pool for 3 days when we were on day trips we were not prepared to pay as there was plenty of space around the pool! Sadly this really ruined our plans for the last day and tarnished what had been a really good experience until then.

Without exception, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Air conditioning was fantastic and very much needed in August. Extremely clean. The pool was larger than I had thought from the picture and the pool bar far exceeded my expectations- the food at lunchtime was delicious. On the map I thought that it would be a longer walk to the heart of town but it is not more than 3 minutes. Proximity to the train station was also a positive as most excursions/ tours start there.

Sound does travel, so a little noisy if people are leaving early but a very small negative.

Very well run hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff who give the impression that they want to help because they care and are willing, and not just because they are being professional! Very clean and well kept hotel in a very beautiful and easy to reach location. Great facilities with everything you could want or need for a great holiday.

The beds are slightly uncomfortable, and would be greatly advised for them to invest in some new softer mattresses. Also a bit of criticism for the hotel policy on outsiders/non guests. Me and my friends were attending the wedding of our very close friends who were staying at another hotel close by. And on our arrival, they came to visit us at our hotel with the intention of sitting by the pool bar to have drinks with us. However they were just immediately turned away for the simple fact that they were non hotel guests, despite just wanting to sit outside and spend money at the hotel bar. I found this very unreasonable, and just simply outright ridiculous for so many obvious reasons!

The hotel was extremely well kept and clean. The rooms were spacious enought for two people. We enjoyed the pool area; it was easy to buy drinks and snacks prices being very reasonable. The breakfast buffet was very varied and tasty. Hotel was situated a bit of the main road, so the traffic did not bother us.

Our rooms very in the first floor and with street view. There was balcony in all of our rooms, but the view was to street and hills and off course first floor - so not very spectacular. I am sure that if you have room on pool side of the building and for example third floor the view is much better. This was only minus of the hotel.

We chose this hotel as a traveling couple with a car moving around the Amalfi Coast. Its location was super for Sorrento and for driving outside the town. It's only 5 minutes walking to the historical center of Sorrento where you can find almost everything you need. The pool was great, clean and relaxing, especially in the very hot summer days. It would've been nice to play some Italian music in the pool area instead of listening to people's talk and little kids. The staff was very helpful and answered every single question. They even gave us some advice and recommendations about the area and its best sits and restaurants. There are plenty of parking places in the hotel's parking lot.

The towels in the room don't smell fresh and need to be changed for newer ones. The staff around the pool are a bit strict and have their own rules. They have to be more friendly since people are there to chill and have some fun.

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Leone. Prior to our arrival the hotel had been in touch and we were able to organise two excursions through them without any hassle. Both excursions were great fun and so easy as we were picked up and dropped off at the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. They all seem to genuinely want you to have a great stay and nothing seemed too much trouble. The pool was great with plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and little tables to go round. The bar at the pool was inexpensive and again great service and friendly chat. Our bedroom had dual aspects and a large balcony. Well equipped and very comfortable room. Loved the toiletries! Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food. Air conditioning throughout the hotel. Comfortable and stylish lounge. It really was an oasis of calm. Good location - took us about ten minutes to walk from the train station. Less than ten minutes to get onto the main drag. Loved it. Didn't want to leave!

Honestly didn't have any issues with it. We will go back if we return to Sorrento.
