Great location, comfortable and clean room with a lovely garden. The owner was very attentive, and served us a delicious breakfast daily (including bruschetta and a Caprese salad) - he went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Perhaps the option to leave breakfast on the trolley outside the room would be better suited in terms of privacy for guests.

The room was much bigger than we expected and very comfortable and clean. The daily fresh breakfast served in our own private garden every morning was amazing! The location was fantastic, we were in the centre of sorrento in a couple of minutes and it was perfect for the train station and bus stops as well. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Our host Tonino was a delight; ever proactive in ensuring we had the best experience with him, with his region - and always very quick to respond to any assistance that we needed. From our moment of arrival he was instrumental in organising the outings that we were interested in. His connections and advice made for some wonderful explorations around the area - and some wonderful eating/drinking experiences. We are normally happy to explore 'our own way' but on this occasion, were most appreciative of his suggestions and assistance. Tonino greeted us with good cheer and great energy every morning - and with a trolley full of various delicious foods, juices coffees. We were happy to leave our daily surprise to him and along with a generous plate of fruits, buns, donuts, breads/biscuits, confitures, etc - we had a different 'main dish' every day for a week - from fresh mozzarella made that morning, teamed with the tastiest tomatoes to eggs and sausage; etcetera.. Breakfast was enjoyed in the pleasant surrounds of 'our' garden. Maison Ligea is an easy walk to the shopping area, railway station and great eateries/bars such as SpizzichiAmo (fabulous food and friendliest of owners & waitress), Storico and the most delicious 'Gelateria David' (ciao 'Aussie' Carmella).

I have been on holidays in Italy many times and stayed in many accommodations, Masion Ligea has been my best experience in Italy ! The apartment is located in a quiet and safe area and very close to the center and station and port. The room was just as good as shown in the pictures: everything is new and clean! Comfortable bed, the pillows (there two pillows to choose from: firmer and softer one), blackout curtains support good sleeping. Mini fridge and kettle and cups in the room are bonus, and good WiFi. The apartment has a lovely garden and private sitting area. Excellent host, Tonino treated us as like family members. We reached Sorrento earlier, called to Tonino and he came to met us in station and allowed early check-in. Every morning served Tonino lovely homemade breakfast accoding to your preference and yogut and fruits and good cappucino. Tonino give us good recommendations for travel tips and restaurants. And he was extremely sympathetic and helpful when my husband got a health problem. Thank You, Tonino!

First of all I’d like to recommend about this amazing host Tony. He gave us such an amazing pleasure in sorrento. Such a gentleman, kind with patience and joy. I’ve been in all amalfi coast hotels, and by far I spent the best time in Maison Ligea. Every question, every this you need just ask from tony, and in five seconds you’ll have it. The Room is beautiful, right in the center of sorrento, with all the stuff you need. And of course the romantic breakfast, can’t add any word. Highly recommended!! 10:)

Just spent a lovely 3 nights , staying at the Maison Ligea. Tonino was the perfect host, looking after our needs at all times. Apartments were in a great location, and easy to find, just a 5-10 min walk from the train/bus station. Our room was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The outdoor garden space was an added bonus ( although we didn't get the full advantage of it, as its still a bit chilly at this time of year !) . The breakfasts supplied each morning were amazing - freshly prepared and delivered to our room each day by Tonino. Large TV, hairdryer, and mini fridge in room. Good WiFi .Bed was very comfy. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Only a 10 min walk into the main centre of Sorrento. Plenty of shops, bars/restaurants (although many were closed/ being refurbished in preparation for the new season). We'd particularly recommend ' La Cantanaccia del Popolo'...food so good we went 2 nights in a row !. Public transport is good (and cheap !), easy to get to Naples, & Pompeii by train, or Positano & Amalfi by bus. There's also a bus takes you directly from Sorrento to Naples airport (€10 , takes around 1hr 15 mins) Ciao Tonino, Molto Bene Grazie !

No complaints. Maybe could have had tea/coffee facilities, and some drinking glasses.

Immaculately clean (!), super comfy bed, beautifully decorated room (we stayed in the "yellow room")... AND a super wonderful host! Tonino was gracious, helpful, super fast in communication, he even waited for us at the train station just because I had mentioned that I had injured my leg days before we arrived! The breakfast was a feast, everything you want and need, served on time (not Italian time haha) in our cute, private patch of garden. And Tonino also immediately helped us with extra coffee when we asked. I also loved the shower, super clean, with the big showerhead above to pamper you after a long walking day. The B&B is close to the train station but not too close, it's close to the "happening street"/ area.

It's not really something negative or anything that I didn't like, just something unexpected: the rooms are on the main floor of an apartment building. As being on the main floor, the rooms have their own 'little' garden that the room opened to. It is very nicely done, with privacy from the other guests in the other rooms besides you, and the street.

absolutely love everything, great location close to the train station and short walk to main square, safe secure apartment, very cute little garden, great sized bathroom amazing shower, modern and clean and great room size, super comfortable bed, air conditioning and heater, mini fridge and room for bags. Tonino is amazing to deal with super flexible with lots of information and easy to contact, now the breakfast is just unreal so many options and at your own chosen time in the morning. couldn’t recommend enough this place is a must stay

Sorrento was the start of our trip to Italy and it cast a huge shadow over the rest of the vacation! It was hard to beat the quality of Mason Ligea. Tony (the host) is exceptional, his communication is top notch and his breakfasts are delicious. FYI - We took a bus from the airport, one of the suggestions by Tony which took about 90 minutes. He met us at the bus/train station and helped carry our bags to his place which was about a 7 minute walk. You can also take a taxi from airport but it'll be about $100 total instead of $20 total (as of 09/2022) for two people. Keep up the great work Tony!

The location is amazing ! Walking distance to the train/ferry and the town center . Set in a quiet neighbourhood away from all the noise but a five minute walk and you are near all the restaurants . The facilities were clean and super comfortable. The garden in the back where we had our breakfast was amazing ! But the best of all is the wonderful host Tony ! He is amazing !! he made our trip ! We stayed three nights and he prepared the most amazing breakfast everyday with fresh tomatoes from his garden, fruit coffee and traditional pastries . Tony made dinner reservations for us , booked a cab and even a tour to Pompei. we loved our stay here !!
