...Everything was lovely...I had been there ten years before..with my husband...who sadly passed away early..so I wanted to go back for my memories...

...my only complaint would be that I paid over three thousand pounds for a week...I booked a twin room as I went with a friend..but we had a double bed...we finally had to accept the..Sofa Bed...which was very hard...& not comfortable...I was disappointed in this after how much money I had paid...& my booking said we would have two single beds...the other issue was...the hot food at Breakfast...was cold...every day...

The rooftop pool had an amazing view over the sea. Staff was very nice. Great air conditioning. Perfect location- 5 min walk for the train station. Tremendous breakfast with many options for cereal eggs bacon pastries yogurt juice coffee fresh fruit. Beautiful gardens!

The snack bar on the roof is the only food service we used outside of breakfast- my daughter ordered a hamburger with lettuce and tomato but they brought a very large salad and a chicken finger. They were nice about it and changed but still she got a beef patty, no bun, no lettuce. Not a big deal but a little hiccup.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The room had been recently renovated - it was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was so clean and well-maintained. We also received coupons for complimentary welcome prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The room had a stunning view over the town, which made our stay even more special. Despite the large number of tourists in Sorrento, the hotel felt very calm and quiet - perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was excellent, with a big variety of food and drinks to choose from. The location is amazing - just a short walk from Sorrento’s main attractions, and very close to the central station. It’s super convenient for catching a bus to the airport, Amalfi, or Positano, and for taking a train to Naples. Highly recommended!

Beautiful room ,407 with a balcony and side sea view. great food on half board ,caters to Coeliacs in the garden restaurant with a lovely breakfast selection. Lovely welcome wine and treats. Really friendly staff and a lovely roof top pool to cool-down in until 6pm with cocktails and food through out the day. We loved it ,so close to Piazza Tasso. So happy to have chosen this hotel, would definitely stay again and recommend it to families ,couples and single travellers. Breakfast available to take away for an early start! Well done to this hotel for a great stay.

Excellent location near the town center and train station for those who travel by trains. Welcoming friendly staff. Big rooms. Beautiful big lobby and rooftop. Good breakfast. Towels in our room were changed twice a day. Efficient elevators.

The room was outdated, especially the bathroom that certainly needs refresh/remodeling. The furniture is old. The matress in the room was sagging. We had a kettle with tea/coffee in the room. It was placed on the desk but there was no outlet for it. We had to unplug minibar, place the kettle on the floor nearby to boil water to have tea. That was weird. If the management renovates rooms, this hotel will be excellent. The pool on the rooftop closing early so guests who take tours during daytime are not able to use it in the evening (and it was so hot during our stay!).

Excellent breakfast with at least 15-20 different pastries to try from, alongside a variety of other breakfast items. Very polite staff and a fantastic club/bar outdoor area - very nice touch to have the free welcome drinks. The rooms were very spacious and clean, with a nice balcony and great view of the coast/marina. Bathroom also spacious. Nice garden to walk in and AMAZING location, being 5 minutes from the large town square and 10-15 mins from the coast.

The amenities were limited, and the bathroom glass was transparent from the room, but otherwise, the stay was incredible.

Perfection perfection perfection! (and also location location location!). Very centrally located and one stone's throw to the train station, this is an elegant hotel, with newly renovated rooms at the highest standards. The staff is more than courteous and attentive. The hotel had beautiful amenities, a rooftop pool and a rooftop terrace bar, where we were offered a complimentary welcome prosecco with a nice view of Vesuvius at sunset. In the morning, breakfast was abundant and very tasty. We felt spoiled at this hotel, couldn't have asked for more. Thanks!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, in the city centre while still being peaceful. The staff were polite and helpful, making check-in and my stay smooth. The room was large and comfortable, with everything I needed. The garden was a nice touch—well-maintained and relaxing. The rooftop offered a pleasant view, especially in the evenings. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would consider staying here again.

believe the breakfast could be improved. The selection was somewhat limited, with not many options to choose

Our group of seven recently stayed at Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto, and we all had a fantastic experience! The hotel staff welcomed us warmly, and we were delighted to receive complimentary upgrades to recently renovated rooms with lovely views. The rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean, and beautifully designed, which made our stay extra comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with a wide selection to suit everyone’s tastes – it was the perfect start to our days. We were also grateful that the hotel kindly allowed us a late checkout at no extra charge, which made our departure much easier. The service from the staff was outstanding; they were attentive and responsive to our needs, going above and beyond to make sure our group had a smooth, enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto to anyone visiting the area, and we look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

The hotel is pretty close to the train station. It offers a free welcome drink to every guest. The view from the swimming pool on the sixth floor was great. The breakfast was delicious. There are a few decent restaurants near the hotel. The lobby looks elegant.

It took me sometime to figure out how to open the door of my room with my room key card (you need to switch your key card on a board next to your room door, not on it). There was hair on the toilet. The connection to the WiFi was not good (which seems to be a common problem for most hotels in Italy).
