The quality of bed and breakfasts in which we stayed was a highlight of our trip. Sorrento Maison Luro was conveniently located and did not require a long walk up a hill. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom was huge by European standards--bigger then the bathrooms in many hotels we have stayed in. Luigi clearly takes pride in his property, and his enthusiasm for hosting was evident. He prepared our breakfast daily and was happy to help us arrange tours in the area. I have been recommending this property to anyone who is going to the Amalfi Coast, so book it if you are thinking about it.

I can think of nothing that might need improvement. It would have been nice to use the pool, but we were there in early November, so it was understandably closed.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable for four of us. Luigi is so welcoming! Communal garden is well used and has the feel of a village square…families sitting around chatting and playing games under the trees. Perfect for chilling out. And the pool is very pretty and well kept (never too busy while we were there). Location is great, close to everything. Just rather noisy being on the main road but excellent soundproofing so didn’t hear anything with the doors closed (aircon good). Luigi was going on holiday so we didn’t have the breakfast delivery, we got vouchers to go out for breakfast just across the road which worked perfectly for us. Vouchers valid for two different places…go for ZuBra 2.0… definitely the better one! Had a very nice dinner at Cafe Latino. Regina Giovanna cove is worth a visit. Make sure you follow Luigi’s directions…Apple maps took us to the wrong place…basically just listen to Luigi 🙂

The property and staff were lovely and perfect for our short honeymoon after our elopement. Luigi was so sweet and helpful!! He gave us all the necessary info for the room and recommendations for things to do and eat around Sorrento. The room was so clean and updated, one of the biggest bathrooms I've had while visiting Europe. Eating breakfast on the balcony reach morning was so beautiful! The location was great to be so close to the main streets. The road is busy but you cannot tell from inside with doors closed (and AC works great so you dont get hot at all!). We will definitely be back on future anniversaries trips! THANK YOU LUIGI & STAFF!

We loved our stay! Our room was stylish and spacious with A.C, a large dining balcony, large bathroom, breakfast wheeled in the cart by Luigi each morning and location. Luigi was in constant communication via WhatsApp, explaining how to arrive to the complex and when he would meet us there personally and show us around. He was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment building and room was clean and surrounded by beautiful gardens, the pool was large with cool water. The location was off the tourist path walking distance from the main train and bus station and near delicious restaurants (Benvenuti in casa had the best pastas in Sorrento, Capri Blu Sorrento had excellent pizzas) and the main tourist road a few minutes away. Very safe and comfortable. A great way to start our Italian trip!

We wish we could’ve stayed even longer! Definitely take your time to enjoy lazy days on the balcony and by the pool as well as sight seeing ones.

We can only recommend Luigi’s accommodation! We arrived during heavy rain, but smiling Luigi was already waiting for us and kindly explained everything. He had been in touch with us via messages since the morning, so we really felt expected and welcomed. The apartment is spacious, with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was clean and large, equipped with everything we needed, including high-quality cosmetics that don’t dry out the skin. We also appreciated the ample number of towel hooks – a detail that is often overlooked. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed a tasty breakfast on the lovely terrace. The Wi-Fi connection worked flawlessly, and the location is excellent – close to the train station. Luigi truly pays attention to every detail, and it shows in every part of this accommodation.

Luigi was a very kind host and very attentive to our needs and requests. The B&B is in a beautiful secure complex. Guests have use of the pool which is a very well maintained facility and we used it several times during our stay. Breakfast delivered to your room to enjoy on the balcony. Our room fronted onto a fairly busy road, but at night the double glazed doors and air con meant we slept soundly (and we live in a rural location so are not used to road noise). For breakfast we enjoyed watching the world go by while we ate!

My stay in Sorrento at Sorrento Maison Luro was perfect. The location was 5 minutes to everything and the place itself was exactly what I needed. Luigi was an amazing host, and I felt comfortable and safe on the property. Breakfast was simple but what I needed to get the day started. If you are looking for a big, hearty American breakfast, this is not it, but the cappuccino and croissant were delicious.

Everything was perfect. Sorrento is an amazing Italian town and I highly recommend visiting it and staying here.

Absolutely everything!! From check-in to checkout we had an amazing time, our room was beautiful, very modern, spacious and the cleanest that we have stayed in throughout our 3 weeks in Italy! Our host Luigi is a gentleman. He went above and beyond for us, he helped with directions and was very informative about the surrounding area. The rooms are located in the perfect spot just a short walk to Sorrento's main street so we had the best of both sides to the town. We had a beautiful balcony which we had a gorgeous breakfast on thanks to Luigi! It really was a 5 star stay, we wish we could stay longer!

Nothing everything was wonderful!!

The property is located just outside of the heart of the town, an easy walk (with 2 young kiddies!) and a supermarket on the way there/back if needed, which was just lovely. Maison Luro is a room within an apartment block, primarily used for local residents. We very much liked being amongst the locals and had an opportunity to use our 'pigeon' Italian! The onsite pool was a gem and we enjoyed it most days of our trip (the highlight for our 8 and 6 year olds!). Breakfast was delivered on a little trolley each morning by Luigi, the host. He is a very lovely man and made us feel most welcome. He even treated us to some local delicacies after we'd made a passing comment about them, told us about local events and introduced us to some of his family :)

It would have been great to have a larger fridge with a freezer drawer. We had to be creative fitting in our waters, Peroni's, cheeses and prosecco! It would also have been lovely to have a coffee machine, or a cafetiere...that said, there was a great little cafe around the corner (1 minute walk at most) so we nipped out to get a decent espresso/cappa during the day! A little more variation on the breakfast choices would also have been nice, but the super fresh croissants and fruit each morning were a definite highlight of our stay :)

Maison Lurò is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Sorrento, the high quality breakfasts included excellent coffee, fresh local fruits and all-round choice, and the room is spotlessly cleaned every day. Luigi ensures you have everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and memorable, offering an incredibly warm welcome. He particularly made sure to look after me as a vegan guest, as well as providing pre-arrival information and support to get the best out of our holiday, so I am genuinely grateful. In short, we would love to go back.
