We are a family with an 11 yo and and 8 yo using Sorrento as a base from which to visit Pompeii, Capri etc. Residence Villaggio Verde is a short walk from the town centre, clean, comfortable, with a pool, sun terrace and pool bar/cafe. The setting in a garden with a view of the hills is beautiful. Cabins are small but we weren’t in the cabin except to sleep, and compared to other options in Sorrento, extremely reasonably priced (like, 1/3 the price of two hotel rooms). Each cabin contains a small kitchen area so you can make sandwiches to take on trips. We had such an amazing time here, and for so much less than we had thought we would have to spend!

The walk into town does not have proper pavements for a large portion, but rather a foot-wide pedestrian zone separated by a painted line. It felt very exposed to the road. We got used to it and it was fine with a child of eight, but I wouldn’t have wanted to do it a toddler.

I really enjoyed the localization of these little bungalows felt like I was in my cottage. I loved the fact that it was only 1 km from Piazza Taso and 2 km from the Marina Piccola where you can take the boat to go to Amalfi Positano and Capri , the staff was absolutely fabulous so nice courteous and always there to help and very available 24 hours a day!

The cleaning ladies do a really good job and are so sweet, always want to help out :) The only thing, the general state of the cottages could be a little better but not a big deal. :)

I liked the very friendly staff and the beautiful lemon garden inside which the bungalows are located. Each bungalow has its own secluded small garden where you can sit and enjoy your time. Even if I didn't use the swimming pool, the view from the swimming pool area is astonishing. There is AC in bungalows, which made us survive hot days.

Light inside the bungalows is very deemed and it would be better to add more lamps. Even if the towels were clean, some were a bit ripped and worn out. Also the cord of electric kettle was short and didn't reach the socket. These are minor and easily fixable stuff, and is just a suggestion for hotel management for future customer satisfaction.

- Super lovely and helpful people working there and great customer service - The place is located on a small hill filled with gardens (it is just amazing to be sunbathing by the lemon trees!) so you need to do some climbing every day but it’s really only a 10min walk from the city centre of Sorrento, great location for that kind of money - the breakfast is a pure joy - lots of things to choose from, delicious pastries and salmi, also a choice of products for vegan people

- not everyone is located in small huts - I was certain I am booking one but we got a room in a larger building: make sure while booking where you are going to stay - not very clean room service - they could be a little bit more scrupulous - the place could use a bit of restoration (the AC is not perfect, the armchairs by the pool could smell more nicely)

Perfect location to visit Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Private parking. Short walk to city centre and to the bus and trein station. Nice pool and bar. The chalets are equipped with good air conditioning and a fridge with a small kitchen

the mattresses of the bed were very hard and in my opinion old and in need of replacement. we were on the street side of the campsite where there was quite a bit of noise, also the garbage bins of the campsite, which are put outside at 6 o'clock in the morning made a lot of noise.

We arrived the lovely place for three nights. The welcome was warm. The place is within walking distance of the tourist center. We arrived by car and were immediately directed to a free parking very close to the wooden cabin. When I said that my friend was celebrating a birthday, a bottle of Prosecco dipped in ice immediately arrived. The place is simply beautiful, the wooden cabins are surrounded by rich and diverse vegetation that creates a sense of privacy and shade, the cabin was clean, and for two people it is defenetly spacious. The balcony is pleasant and overlooks the beautiful garden. The highlight of the place is undoubtedly the friendly staff. We would especially like to mention Antonella, who took care of us at every moment and solved our problems quickly and efficiently and above all with a lot of humor. Thank you for a pleasant stay

The overall atmosphere of the place is very nice, calm and pleasant. The location is also very good; it is a short drive to the city centre and supermarket. There is also a very nice restaurant nearby, a very short walk. The bungalow was clean, and they offered daily cleaning services at no extra cost, which was very helpful. The staff was pleasant and helpful in giving advice on traffic, getting around, and places to visit.

The swimming pool rules, although acceptable in essence, used some hard language that I would not consider inviting or welcoming. The bungalow had 1 AC serving both the bedroom and the area outside. In order to make use of it in the bedroom, we had to keep the room door open, which was not convenient; kids were sleeping in the "living room" and needed to have some lights open. The bed in the main bedroom was not the most comfortable but it was okay for a short stay.

This place is beautiful and a random little oasis that does not feel like you’re still in Sorrento. Mid April so had the pool to ourselves and thankfully picked a beautiful day for a one night stay and break from Naples. The breakfast was only €8 each and (although continental) had plenty to choose from. There was also a poolside menu with lovely food. The staff were the absolute best part, so welcoming, friendly and helpful!! Our cabin was VERY clean and the pool and pool area was spotless. You’re not allowed poolside without a shower and a foot wash which was a pleasant touch. Lemons and oranges everywhere and it really felt like we were in the jungle! Such a unique stay and better than a standard hotel. Even though food was available to purchase the idea of an equipped kitchen to cook was a great idea. So glad we booked this rather than a hotel/ b&b!! If we ever return to Sorrento we would 100% be back here over a hotel anyday!

Very noisy at night- NOT the fault of the resort… it’s the constant noise of mopeds in Italy.

The cabin was great & the site felt like a little oasis of calm in busy Sorrento. The pool area was kept clean & tidy by the staff. Everywhere was surrounded by flowers & greenery. They provided gluten free breakfast products. Antoinette, on the front desk, is fabulous & made our stay, helping with bookings, trips, info & a big smile! 🥰

staff can't do enough to help. Shower wasn't working on day 1 - they replaced it so all fine. (thank you Antoinette). 12 mins walk from the station which is also where the buses go from. However the last 100yards up from the town is very steep. However, it means you wake up to bird song and not scooter noise. The place is a real oasis and if it is hot you would be grateful to spend the afternoon by the pool or just by your lodge. We have never slept so well. Be careful you don't lock the friendly cat in your lodge by mistake. Spotlessly clean and two supermarkets nearby. On arrival at the station you need to go uphill - turn left out of the station building and go round it, up the road a bit and there are stairs. Up those, then right, to the junction, then left up the hill. Check your route on arrival or you will take ages finding it unnecessarily. Whilst not connected with this hotel review, there is a shuttle bus to and from the port from the station. You pay on the bus. Its the little one, not the SITA bus. Immediately outside the station building to the right outside the toilets.
