Phenomenal experience! Maison Nana and the host/owner Salvatore exceeded all of our expectations. My wife and I arrived for our stay and Salvatore was waiting to greet us with a big smile on his face. Unfortunately, my wife lost one of her bags on the way. She thought she had left it on the ferry, but mentioned to Salvatore that we also took the public shuttle bus from the port to the Town Square. Salvatore immediately sprang into action and got on his Vespa to the ferry port. When he was told by the ferry staff that her bag was not there, he then tracked down both of the two public shuttle busses and was able to retrieve her bag from the bus driver! Both she and I were amazed by his initiative, resourcefulness, and commitment to help. We were very grateful to him. Location is great, short walk to the center, shops, restaurants, ferry, and 2 minutes from the train station. Our room was pristine, very modern, clean, and quiet. Salvatore gives suggestions as to where to eat, etc. and is always available 24/7. He makes an outstanding breakfast each morning with everything a person could want, including eggs, fresh tomatoes from his garden, cheeses, meats, yogurts, fruit, coffees, and his homemade cakes which are so fresh and delicious. We cannot say enough good things about Salvatore and Maison Nana.

Nothing, all was perfect!

Our stay at Maison Nana was really good. The host Salvatore gave us excellent service and recommendations for the area. He cared for us and our stay and we’re available when questions arose. The room was clean and modern, with good air conditioning and black out “curtain”. The location was really good as well, only a few minutes walk to the center yet located on a quiet street.

The only downside was that the breakfast room was located next to the rooms and from the early moorings it was quiet noisy, the walls were not sound proof apparently. During the evenings there were a dog outside barking which also made the sleeping experience a bit bad.

The location is fantastic. It's very close to the train and bus station. It's also close to the ferries so you can easily reach Positano, Capri and Amalfi. The added value was for sure Salvatore and Gulianna. They are incredibly helpful and welcoming. Plus Salvatore bake the best cakes ever and prepared delicious breakfast (he made us lemonade with lemons from his house). The room is clean and comfortable. On our last day as we had to leave really early, Salvatore left us a packed breakfast for the three of us. I'd def stay here again if I come back to Sorrento.

Everything was perfect.

The host, Salvatore, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and that we felt welcome and at home. He offered tons of insider/local information, which we benefitted from greatly being first-time visitors. We definitely plan to return to Sorrento and will absolutely seek to stay at his property again when we do.

The room we stayed in had an extremely slick shower floor and tended to spill water out into the rest of the restroom when used. The walls were thin as well, so you may need ear plugs if you wish to sleep in, past 7-8am, and make sure to control your own voice volume as others can likely hear you as well. There was really nothing that we didn't like to the point of complaining.

This location is perfect..within walking distance of all the best sights in Sorrento and literally minutes from the bus and train station. Salvatore is the most exceptional host..he always made us feel cared for and pampered. The delicious breakfasts he lovingly prepared started our day off perfectly.. The room was kept spotlessly clean. Maison Nana and Salvatore were the highlight of our stay in Sorrento. It was like we were made a part of his family!

That we could stay longer!

The place is wonderful. 5 minutes walk from train/bus station and city centre. Very clean and comfortable. There are everything what you need in the room. Salvatore is great great host. He supported us since the beginning of booking and gave us useful information and tips about Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi Coast and Naples. Salvatore prepared very good breakfast and espresso for his guests every morning. His homemade biscuits were my favourite. Thanks, Salvatore🙏!

Myself and my partner loved absolutely everything about our stay in Maison Nana. Especially the host Salvatore!! He was so kind and helpful and made us the most delicious fresh breakfast every morning, we looked forward to it each day. The rooms were spotless clean and bed was super comfy. The rooms are cleaned daily which was amazing to come home to after a long day. perfect location 10 mins from the centre, so it was peaceful at night for a great sleep. It exceeded our expectations in every way! We would recommend everyone 100% to stay here, it is a hidden gem in Sorrento and was a highlight of our trip to the Amalfi coast! :)

Situated close to bus and train stations, Maison Nana is almost impossible to find fault with. The room and shower-room were spotless and very comfortable. The real gem was Salvatore and his breakfast room. Salvatore was an exceptional host who was always very helpful and was also very accommodating to my vegetarian husband. A five-star experience and one we will probably repeat.

Salvatore is an amazing host - warm, personable, and makes every effort to ensure all his guests have an enjoyable stay. Location is central to all the main points of interest in town and also peaceful for a good nights rest. Delicious breakfast included cappuccino and a delightful selection of cakes, yogurt, eggs, fresh fruit and meats & cheese etc. Rooms are new, immaculately clean with comfortable beds and pillows, plus our room had a nice view to a lemon tree. Salvatore gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and even helped us book our day trips. We especially appreciated that Salvatore waited for us upon our arrival from the train station and let us know about the annual fireworks display for Ferragosto.
