B&B Giacomino was an easy and comfortable stay for us as a base to explore Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. The location was great, on the quieter end of Corso Italia but not far at all from Piazza Tasso, the station, and the port. There’s also a great bar (caffè) next door we enjoyed going to for breakfast. The room was spacious and all the facilities clean. The beds were comfortable (on the firmer side which we liked). The A/C worked well and it was nice and quiet. Francesco was very friendly and helpful!

Just a note — the rooms are inside an older apartment complex (which isn’t necessarily bad just weren’t expecting it!) Not a traditionally marked “hotel” from the outside. Given how much we paid, we were maybe expecting a bit more, however, this could just be typical of the area as a tourist destination. Otherwise, we had no issues.

We loved the super big bed in the room and Francesco was very friendly, he was always on hand to help. There is a cleaner who cleans the room every day too. The property is slightly out of the central part of Sorrento, however we loved this and the central part if only 5 minutes away, which leaves you with a lovely evening walk home. The neighbourhood was quiet and had a local cafe next to it, which was terrific. Highly recommend staying in this property.

Think the fridge in the room could be bigger and having a full length ironing board rather than a table top one which is hard to use.

The location is perfect!! It is in a chill street not next to the busy main road and around 5-10min walk from the train and bus station, so we could easily catch the early bus which goes to Positano/Amalfi and also the train to Pompeii and Naples. The center of the city also around 15min of walk. The room is clean, spacious and has everything you need. There is also AC and a small fridge. They are extremely kind and easy to communicate with them also in english.

Just small things: There isn’t mosquito net on the bathroom window and balcony door so they came in somehow even tho we didn’t open the windows. There is only one key package together with the electricity card you need to insert inside the room so if one person would like to stay inside the room while the other would like to go somewhere you have to decide who gonna have the key. Maybe two electricity card would be helpful.

Lovely host, went out of the way to accommodate us and make sure we had everything for our stay! Comfiest bed we had in the whole trip. Great pressure in the shower - perfect to clean yourself after a sea swim. Room is large too. Coffee was offered.

The iron didn’t steam very well, but frankly it wasn’t even advertised with the room so it still saved us a trip to the dry cleaner! We could hear the breakfast being prepared in the morning, but at night it was really quiet so not really an issue for sleeping. Would stay again!

Fantastic location, It had a small lift which was great! Very clean and comfortable really great stay! Francesco was very welcoming and friendly! We paid for the on site parking which was helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Because it was in such a central location outside can be loud at night, It wasn’t a problem for us but it everything was so good can’t think of any negatives.

Great location. 5 minute walk from the bus/ train station Close enough to the centre of Sorrento to make everything within easy reach but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep. Nice and modern bedrooms with all the facilities you need. Great communication from Francesco before we arrived with directions to the property and he couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property as a great base for anyone who’s visiting Sorrento

The property was beautiful and very clean! Very close to the station and everything available at a 2 mins distance! Francesco is extremely sweet and caring and helped us at any hour! Also very sweet to get us wine for my wife’s birthday! It was a great experience! Would definitely recommend this for anyone staying in Sorrento !

Nothing at all

The room was lovely and we were offered cappuccinos and croissants each morning. The location is so close to the main street that goes through Sorrento which was really nice. The room and bathroom were very clean and the owner was very nice.

We could hear the other guests at night when they returned to the b&b - but that is somewhat expected when you stay in a b&b.

As it was a B&B, we weren't expecting anything flash but rather just a room to sleep in during our stay in Sorrento. However it was clean, comfortable, with good wifi and aircon so we were very happy with it!

It was a little difficult to get into, but our host did send through really good instructions that made it much easier

Francesco was amazing, and helped us in every aspect of our stay. Location is very convenient, close to everything in walking distance and very quiet. Rooms are kept clean every day.

Weshould have stayed more than a week.
