Loved the location, Service and staff were so friendly and helpful and loved the decor inside. Very comfortable stay and loved the pool as a bonus. Exceptional Hotel and will definitely be coming back.

There was the pool bar but it didn't have anything on display or any menus. The same with the bar inside we didn't even know it was a bar, until we saw people sitting but was pretty empty. We would have stayed every night for another drink if it was visibly open.

Teresa is an absolute wonderful lady and hotel manager, all of the staff could not do any more for you and made us feel so welcome. They catered to every need, allowed my family to set up decorations for my 30th birthday, took their time to get to know us and why we were staying as well as giving each room a free bottle of champagne on the first night. The hotel is lovely and clean, very modern and just an overall gorgeous stay. The breakfast was amazing and the staff so polite and friendly!

The hotel lobby was very aesthetic, and the rooms were clean too. When we arrived we asked for some assistance with the positano tours, and they helped us in booking that. The breakfast was the best in comparison to other hotels in Europe. They offered omelettes, fried eggs and fresh pancakes. Even the muffins and yoghurt were Amazing. We booked a standard room with balcony. The washroom needs a bit upgrade but that’s okay I guess we booked the standard room that’s why. Pretty corners in the hotel for pictures. Asked for iron and got it instantly.

The facilities, location, breakfast and staff were all excellent. The selection at breakfast was extensive and food was of a high quality. The pool area was great and there was plenty of chairs and lounges around the pool area. The rooms (we had rooms with a balcony over the pool area) were well appointed and very comfortable. The manager was also excellent, checked on us regularly, and was very helpful when we needed advice.

The hotel has been modernised and the hotel offers nice updated rooms. We found it a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and the staff, particularly the breakfast staff very attentive. Close to the main area of Sorrento. Ideal to walk to alot of the areas within Sorrento. It was our anniversary and the team kindly left us a little treat on the day which was a lovely touch.

The breakfast was very basic. The cooked breakfast area did not have regards to dietary preferences i.e vegetarians. The eggs were in the same lidded warmer as meat and the utensils the same for both items. Need to seperate. Beans were in the same lidded warmer as the bacon and utensils mixed up on same plate. Reception team seem generally very friendly but one particular lady was very abrupt and rude when we asked a very basic question. The gentleman on the night shift really helped us with transport arrangements which we were very grateful for. An iron in the room would be really helpful.

Great hotel for the money, I think the rooms could do with a little updating but the downstairs of the hotel and breakfast area is really lovely. Staff are super welcoming

Everything about this little Hotel is sublime! The location is walking distance to everything. It's beautifully decorated 'coastal style'. The Bedroom and Bathroom is roomy and extremely comfortable and modern. The Bar area is welcoming and comfortable. The staff are customer service professionals. The Breakfast is plentiful and just delicious. We were extremely happy with our choice and will definitely return to Sorrento and to Hotel Capri.

Not a negative as such, but the rear of the Hotel is still the original yellow colour, and needs to be matched to the new paint job of Grey/White which is up the side and across the frontage. It would make it looks that bit more beautiful. The Pool area was adequate, nothing fancy, but Pool was clean and just grateful to have a Pool.

Hotel Capri is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the Circumvesuviana station, 10 minutes from the old town with several good restaurants and bars nearby. Staff were friendly and really helpful. The breakfast was good with a good choice of hot food, freshly cooked on request, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cakes and pastries. The pool was nice with comfortable loungers and deck chairs and you could find sun and a shady corner, when needed. La Cantinaccia del Popolo restaurant was only 5 minutes away and was as good as we had expected from other travellers reviews. They usually let people in at 6.45pm, but you really need to be there 40 minutes before to guarantee getting in for the first sitting

The aircon had a mind of its own and was almost impossible to set correctly. At night we had to turn it off on the main circuit breaker to ensure it did not come on, and sometimes it would not come on when we needed it. Very strange. The only other small complaint was the toaster at breakfast which was incredibly slow and difficult to use

Breakfast was lovely, the staff are super and on hand if you need anything, great continental range of food to help yourself, or the chef can come out and make you an omelette or fresh pancakes! Hotel staff in general are amazing, friendly, helpful and always smiling! Rooms are a good size, modern, nice walk in shower and big bed with mini fridge, pool was great too, perfect for a swim after a walk around the town- as close to town centre with great restaurants.

For us the beds weren’t comfortable, but that’s personal preference. Apart from that everything else was very good!

Beautiful new property in the heart of Sorrento, great location to walk to all the main sites and to the ferry port to do day trips to the various islands; rooms were beautiful, new and clean; staff were lovely and super helpful always. The breakfast offered in the hotel was also fantastic the lemon lollies offered at the hotel reception desk were a super nice touch. Hotel is across the road from Franco’s pizza which is a super popular pizza place in Sorrento so be sure to check this out for dinner one night!

Rooms were a little smaller vs. what we were expecting from the pictures we saw when we booked. We also had issues with our shower, it seems the design of it meant every time we had a shower water would leak all over the bathroom floor. The housekeeper lady was kind enough to give us extra towels for the floor so that when we experienced this issue we were able to dry the floor properly
