The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions on how to get through the gate and the building. The apartment is clean and very spacious. It is very close to the city centre, about 5 mins walk which was fantastic. And it is about about a 2 min walk to the Sorrento train station. If you take the italo bus to Naples, the bus service is also just across the road under the FLIBUX sign Infront of the cafe.

For some reason there were mosquitoes in the room everyday, not sure where they were coming from but there is more everyday. The single bed that was set up for us was a bit uncomfortable as it wasn't sturdy and would dipping heavily to one side.

The external PRIVATE bathroom, especially the shower pressure and temperature exceeded expectations. Even though we did not use the balcony it was a lovely addition. Plus unfortunately we did not meet host Tiziana, which was strange but for us the check in and check out was very easy. Plus it was really easy to Tiziania contact who was extremely patient and helpful with a few last minute questions late at night.

Not sure if it was a minor oversight on booking.com but I booked this because it advised there was luggage storage facilities however it turns out this was in the shared kitchen / lounge area without cameras or no someone around.

The place was outstanding, very clean and in very close proximity to the centre and all the main attractions that interested us. I loved the style of the rooms, so bohemian and so dreamy, it really introduced us to the cozy Italian feeling. Also, the nearby garden were superb, it was the perfect place to take a walk in the late evening and recharge after a full day of sightseeing.

Just as a mere suggestion, I would add individual mini-fridges in every room. There was only one fridge in the main room and it got a little cramped at times. Everyone needs a cool beverage after walking in the torrid sun for so long :)

On one side I liked the location because it was in walking distance from the touristic center and the train station. But at the same time because of that location noise was constant even during the night at times. I liked the big balcony/terrace even though we didn't use it at all. The size of the room was good and the breakfast area was nice.

My biggest dislikes (and the reason why my review score is low) are related to the bathroom. While it was nice that we didn't have to share a bathroom, the toilet seat in our bathroom was not fully attached to the toilet so it would shift every time one used the toilet. In addition the shower heads were not working properly. On the small shower head the water would leak more on the sides than end up on my head, while the big shower head was cracked so the water flow was horrible. I did not enjoy taking a shower there.

Very strange housekeeping, came into our room the first day but did not replace any towels or toiletries (not sure what they even did in our room?) had to contact them to ask for more toilet rolls (only 1 was provided for a 3 night stay) and new towels.. then they did not do any housekeeping after that.. 2. Contacted by staff member at 1030pm at night who couldn’t speak English and turned up to our door at 1130pm asking for payment… had checked in much earlier at 12pm so felt very invasive and inappropriate

Firstly the location is superb, its a very short walk from the station which is the easiest way to arrive from naples. For getting around Sorrento it is also absolutely superb. Unlike the other reviews our room was extremely clean a very large, we had the bathroom in our room and our own balcony which was lovely for the evenings. The owner is a lovely lady who will greet you and assist with any needs, we could leave luggage on our last day too which was great. Kitchen is well stocked and for the price its an excellent apartment. Many thanks

Location was excellent, especially for railway station and centre of town. Loved the Balcony. Can be a little noisy. The town does not sleep. Nothing earplugs can't deal with. Amenities were average but quite OK. Contrary to other reviews it is not mould around the taps but deterioration in the chrome finish. We had a great stay at Sorrento. GRAZIA

The location is the best. The room was comfortable with a patio facing the main road giving you a complete Sorento experience. The apartment has a lift making entry with luggage very easy.

The host did not meet us on arrival. In fact, the host was not even prepared for us even though we had a confirmed booking and we had confirmed our visit a few days earlier. Luckily, we met a lady at the gate who together with the caretaker spoke with her and she eventually told the caretaker to give us access. It was very disappointing and stressful as we didn't know where to go after a long drive from Rome.

Great location and value! Our hostess had snacks in the kitchen area and provided us w a cappuccino on arrival. Very appreciated on a cool February day to hungry travelers! Triviani and her son, her interpreter, were very gracious, warm, and helpful. They recommended a pizzeria for dinner just across the street. Definitely a hit! It was filled w locals enjoying dinner and an evening out. We enjoyed dinner, wine, and the lyrical Italian conversations and warmth. Our room was just off the kitchen and very comfortable. We always appreciate having access to a teapot for a cup of something hot in the evening, which was available, along w juices and water. Appreciated! And a nice shower w plenty of hot water! :) Sorrento was home base to visit the Amalfi Coast. This worked well! We caught the bus the next morning, just up the street, and totally enjoyed seeing Positano and Amalfi. This entire area is GORGEOUS!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Lemon Rooms. Lovely room, nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with bath and shower.We loved the balcony, great to sit and relax with a drink after a tiring day of sightseeing.. Brilliant location, close to station, ferries, shops and restaurants. Nice communal kitchen area. More like a private apartment than a b&b! Friendly host and staff.Would definitely recommend.
