Room was very good and staff was very helpful. Nice big pool as well as a smaller pool on the top floor.

We had a very nice room with a view but the room price seemed high. Like most hotels in the area, you will need a taxi or a long walk to access the ferries if going to Capri or one of the other towns on the Amalfi coast.

The hotel is well located, a 10-minute walk from the center, a 15-20 minute walk from a beach not frequented by most tourists, across the street from two lemon groves and around the corner from some of the best restaurants. The hotel was also extremely clean and well maintained. It is very quiet and wonderful to have the choice of two pools. The views on the rooftop terraces are incredible. The staff was helpful and friendly. We also received a complimentary bottle of bubbles to celebrate our honeymoon, a very considerate touch!

Breakfast could be a little more of a relaxing experience, waiters can be very busy organizing and serving tables. I understand there are a lot of people who come down to breakfast, and that guests are sometimes unnecessarily rude to the staff, but the hastiness can come across as dismissive and can affect your experience at the hotel in a less positive way.

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff in a great location, just a 5 minute walk into the town. Our room was very spacious with a lovely sea view.

Great hotel. In a residential area but walking distance to the main centre, less than 10 minutes. Classic traditional decor but with modern technology. We had complimentary Prosecco in our room as it was our wedding anniversary, really nice touch. The drinks are not overpriced. Staff all very helpful, especially the bar and waiting staff. Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast choice.

The road noise outside could be loud sometimes, The road outside is not busy but can certainly hear the few cars and motorcycles early in the morning. The air conditioning in the room was not cold, but not really problem for us as we went end of April so it was still cool outside.

When we arrived we were in a garden room. The garden room was very big but we really wanted the sea view. The hotel graciously found us a sea view room for the last two nights. Although the sea view room was much smaller but still lovely. The breakfast and outside and inside eating area were beautiful. It was a great breakfast. It was over and beyond what you would traditionally get. You could have eggs done as you wait. We have never stayed at a hotel that was soooo clean. It sparkled. The traditional decor style was designed in keeping with the area and nicely appointed. It was just a short walk to the down town area and tons of restaurants. Its a good 17 minute down hill walk to the ferry. Coming back from the Ferry is a very steep hill so keep some money for a taxi. Most taxis were 20 -25 euros so they are not cheap.

We liked everything.

All aspects of the hotel were superb. The room was large and luxurious, staff were attentive, and meals were delicious. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the lovely garden. Having an early flight from Naples, we had to leave before the dining room opened for breakfast on our last day. We were pleasantly surprised that the front desk agent arranged for us to be provided a take-away breakfast.

Our room must have adjoined the elevator shaft, which was a bit noisy at times. The traffic between Naples and Sorrento was terrible, and it took more than two hours to reach the hotel from the Naples Train Station at 18:00--a distance of less than 35 miles. Conversely, our early morning drive from Sorrento to Naples Airport took less than an hour. The hotel's Sorrento location is definitely impacted by traffic.

Great location although one back from the waterfront view, beautifully presented and warm and happy staff, who were extremely helpful. The restaurant was excellent and breakfast was everything you could wish for, with excellent staff! The rooms were very comfortable and the beds were plush. The bathroom was good, authentic Italian old style, but totally functional. Easy onsite parking for €25 per night, with excellent service from the doorman to assist loading baggage. The pools were great, one on the rooftop with spectacular views and the other much bigger for those wanting to do lengths. A wonderful place to stay, we wish we had longer.

Having to leave!

Room decor was traditional southern European - all tile and marble. Room was very large, bed was comfortable, 2-Queen Ann style chairs plus a desk chair. Large closet, safe for valuables, refrigerator (mini-bar), desk, panel TV, tea pot, included breakfast was excellent. Dining at night was also quite good. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We arranged transportation from Port Civitavecchia (Rome) through the hotel, and return to Naples Airport after 4 nights. Also a day tour by boat to Capri. Location from Sorrento city center is wonderful - about a 10 minute walk. View from the hotel rooftop terrace was beautiful. Enclosed "backyard" courtyard was shaded and relaxing. Bar service everywhere.

Plumbing in all old European hotels is quaintly antiquated. You can update the fixtures, but the pipes and drains are pretty much set, so expect slower water flow than most American hotels. Not a problem - it all works well - it's just different for infrequent travelers.

Was my second time of returning to this hotel, and was surprised to hear that we had been upgraded. Fantastic sea view room and so comfortable and clean. As before all staff from front of house to the cleaners are all so friendly and helpful nothing is a problem. Anna in the bar area was a pleasure to speak to and so very helpful and friendly. such a beautiful location would always recommend this hotel.

location and facility was excellent.

The breakfast. our family was surprised at the quality of breakfast that was served at such an upscale, beautiful hotel. The bacon was not cooked fully, sitting in grease and lukewarm. The salmon was slimy, smelly and old. There was a lot of sweets and carbs; few veggies and healthy options. Coffee had very good flavor but lukewarm.
