Great location inside the historic quarter of Taormina and only a five minute walk to the Catania Gate entrance/exit. Apartment is fairly basic, has what you need and nothing more. But it’s modern and clean and well built. Every amenity Taormina has to offer is a 1-15 minute walk in all directions.

I would prefer a shower door to a shower curtain. And I know Europeans love their bidets, but personally I like getting a vigorous back door clean from firing a strong blast of shower water up the moon crater as opposed to splashing myself on those seats. I’d take a second vanity over one of those any day. Otherwise, apartment really does the job.

The property couldn’t have been in a more perfect area to explore Taormina. Every thing is sent to you before you get there so it’s a very easy check in . The property is on the square next to the church at the top end of Costa Umberto so ask any taxi from the train station they drop you off 200m and they tell you how to get to it . The apartment its self is very well decorated and kept really clean by the cleaners who come in everyday . Tea coffee is available in the rooms they also have a refrigerator in the room and air conditioning which is very good on a hot day .

Wonderful location. We stayed in the off season so it was very quiet.

The communication was initially poor because apparently they use a company to manage the property. They rely on automated responses - it would have been nice to know that at exactly 3:00 the key code would be sent to us, and not a minute earlier. We were waiting outside at 2:50 pm wondering if we were going to be able to find the apartment.

I stayed at Al Duomo Rooms and Flags in Taormina and really enjoyed the experience overall. The location is unbeatable—just steps from the main square—yet tucked away enough to feel private. The code entry made check-in super easy, and the room had a charming little balcony, perfect for enjoying the atmosphere. You are quite close to the neighbors, so you might catch a whiff of their cooking, but it actually added a bit of local charm. The only downside was that the hot water ran out on the day of departure, but otherwise, everything was comfortable and as expected. A great option for a central stay in Taormina!

Location was fantastic! Right at the heart of the commercial area, with a terrace overlooking the main piazza. The apartment was very large and comfortable, albeit a little on the older side. The amenities were good, making the place a great choice for an even longer stay. Communication was outstanding, with any and all questions promptly and thoroughly answered. This is very important, especially for first time visitors like us.

Nothing to note. The apartment is great, even if a little older. The terrace looked a lot larger in the pictures...

The apartment is well located, on the 2nd to 3rd flight of stairs depending on how you count :), Very tidy and cute. Loved the white/blue accents. Common areas smelled amazing and instructions were quite clear.

The balcony is beautiful BUT - it has a full blown face to face view to the neighbours - in the sense that the outdoor space/your window is about 10 feet apart from their window (with no curtains so you fully see them live their life) - so we left the window covered/closed and didn't use the outdoor space at all, for intimacy purposes. It's not a big deal, but a nice to know IMO.

The apartment is situated in the best location, in the center of the main walking street, precisely in the square "Piazza Dumo" with the church, fountain, and excellent cafe and restaurant, so everything is as close as possible. From the balcony of the 2nd-floor double room, you can see this square and the hill behind it - it is amazing! All dinners were in Osteria Sanicoló restaurant in this square - the best pistacia pizza, need to try!

I can not tell you anything which disturbed us.

Location was one street away from the Duomo, quiet enough to hear street noise, not noisy enough to be disturbed. Room was spacious and airy, the balcony was great for airing out wet items, which dried very quickly in the summer heat. Bed was firm but not hard, toilet was clean and well maintained. Hallway lights were also highlighted, so you wouldn't step out into a dark corridor and have to fumble for lights. Staff communicated information well, including payment and information of how to get to the room. Instructions given very clearly, including pin code for doors. Coffee machine and pods were provided, but not the best quality unless desperate, better to walk out to the bars for a handmade.

The location of the apartment was perfect, everything in the old town was a couple of picturesque minutes away. The room was specious and comfortable, and it was cleaned daily. We loved the little detail of available coffee pods which they also restocked every day. The whole staff was super friendly and helpful, if we had any questions they answered quickly. We came by car and there was a good parking garage only 4-5 walking minutes away. All in all, we had a perfect stay and would definitely come back again!

For us, this property was perfectly located at one end of Taormina's main pedestrian drag yet accessible by car, so we could drop our bags off and park the car at the nearest municipal parking lot. From our family room we could get a partial view of Etna's smoking crater and the double room (which our group also booked) had a spacious veranda where we could all hang out together. The whole experience is no-frills: you let yourself in and lug your bags upstairs. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfy, the bathrooms are new and the toiletries are good. As in other hotels we stayed in Sicily, we got a capsule espresso machine (and some tea bags) which were very good. You don't get breakfast as the property is not staffed but there are lots of pastry shops and cafes a stone's throw in central Taormina.

Nothing, really: you get what you pay for. 🙂
