This might be the best B&B stay we have ever had! Francesca is the most hospitable and “simpatica” manager, and Flavio and Roberto are wizards in the bar and restaurant. The Dimora is richly furnished and decorated throughout with original artwork, the bed was so comfortable we felt we were floating on a cloud, with the most comfortable sheets and blankets, and the floors are paved with beautiful antique tiles. It all comes together to create not just a stay, but an experience! We are artists and we have traveled extensively, and this is the place we dream of. It is situated in the busy and historic part of Trapani, but it was peaceful and quiet in our spacious, well-appointed room. When our stay came to an end, we found it hard to leave! And don’t pass up the opportunity for a drink and meal in the restaurant. You could just tell Flavio or Roberto to surprise you and you’ll be happy!

The property was on the main street and easy to find. The room was very large and well appointed. Our morning hostess was most kind and attentive. There is a good restaurant and bar associated with the B&B which makes it convenient when one does care to venture out again in the evening.

Since parking is a bit tricky, it would have been helpful if someone had been at the B&B at check-in to explain where to park and the process. I believe the B&B tries to communicate too much via texting, rather than in person. Check-in was between 11:00-13:00; after 13:00 we were given clear directions on how to get in. I believe that arriving after 13:00 is not unreasonable, and that having a person available to greet guests and to answer questions essential. There is no lift to haul luggage to one's room.

A stunning property with so much character. The room was so spacious and comfortable. Really loved it. So centrally located and easy to access all the amenities. The staff was very helpful. Out of hours check in was facilitated and they let us store our luggage so we could go across to Favingnana without having to take our suitcases. Loved it!

Only a couple of issues. Reception is limited to 8.30 - 1.00 so if you arrive outside these hours and you have heavy bags there is no lift - you have to haul them up the stairs. The breakfast was not great but this was not a deal breaker as there were dining options in the local town.

This is a charming boutique hotel off an otherwise quite scruffy street in the old town. Very handy for the centre of Trapani. We arrived when the reception was open (but only in the middle of the day) and our hostess was very helpful (she even explained the Italian way with eggs at breakfast). The rooms are right above the restaurant/ bar which also serves a very good breakfast. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and went with the recommendation by our host which was perfect.

The street is a little busy and there’s no good view from the rooms, a bit of a climb to the rooms with no lift… didn’t matter for us but might not suit others.

The property, our room and the hospitality/staff were 10/10. Sara was extremely friendly and helpful for any and all questions we had. She went above and beyond for us by providing us recommendations on things to do, as well as made us a reservation for dinner. We really appreciated it. The rooms were cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. We can’t wait to return.

Everything exceeded our expectations!

Breakfast was excellent; typically continental but as we would expect on holiday. Room was very clean and kept so throughout the stay. Staff were lovely, Francesca was very helpful and friendly - as were all of the staff. Previous reviews moan about lack of staff in the evening and no help climbing the stairs but this is made very clear in the description so not a problem for us.

No outside space to relax. WiFi could be better. Can be noisy being on Main Street but no big problem

It was our second time at Dimora Botteghelle. This gorgeous boutique hotel is located in the centre of Trapani (3 min away from the beach and 10 min away from the passenger's port). Our room was simply beautiful! Very spacious, bright and full of astonishing decorations and furniture. Francesca and the rest of the team were very helpful. The breakfast included various sweet and salty options, many fruits and fresh juices. It will be always our favourite place to stay when in Trapani!

This place was beautiful! We loved everything about it. Great staff, delicious breakfast with excellent coffee, and we had a great dinner there too. Probably what I loved the most was the interior design and aesthetic. It is so tasteful and authentic. We could walk everywhere from there so location is great. We absolutely loved our room and everything about it!

An amazing place with great design, attention to detail and very conscientious. The bedding and furnishings all exceptional and very comfortable. Our room (superior suite) was very spacious and even had a second bathroom as well as 2 seating areas. Breakfast was excellent and Francesca was super helpful and friend,y. She was a great communicator and provided helpful information for navigating Trapani. We ate in the wine bar/ bistro and had an excellent dinner. Truly a luxury stay.

This is a great choice if you are staying in Trapani for a few nights. We found the room very comfortable, especially the bed. Ideal location as well.

The walls are thin. We could hear other guests coming home late at night and walking around/talking upstairs. This was only an issue for us one out of the three nights we stayed there.
