Val Gardena Guest cards: Totally invaluable!! We used them to go to Passo Gardena, Zenserhutte, Toblach, and even Brenner on our way back to Munich. The apartment is huge and beautiful, with kitchen, bath and bedroom. The kitchen has most cooking utensils and EVEN salt and pepper!! The view outside the window is gorgeous. Cloth line on the porch. Plenty of toiletries. There is a hiking trail between the apartment and Juac Refugio. And the hike is through a shady forest with view of mountains, pastures, and lots of sculptures and interpretive signs of wildlife. If you hike on Seceda ridge, you can buy a one-way cable car ticket and walk down to Refugio Firenze, Juac then back to the apartment. This will not only save 10 euros (one way is 20 euros; round trip is 30), you can also have more enjoyment.

The apartment is a bit far from the valley (Selva Plaza Nives) and is 200' higher. Following google map, I slogged a long way with my luggage uphill in the hot sun. Later the apartment manager told us there was a shortcut which does not only save on the distance, but also eliminates unnecessary climbing. High prices at Supermarket Valgardena Center on Str. Puez. The DESPAR store on Str. Meisules is a bit better. Many of the Suedtirol mobil bus drivers are uncaring and some times ignore the stop requests. You are supposed to watch the monitor for the next stop. However, often the display has a latency so some stops are only displayed for a split of a second, causing you to miss the stop.

A lovely, self catering apartment, beautifully clean, well equipped. Helpful, friendly owners and staff. A very nice ski locker with a warming boot rack. Sauna and steam room were excellent.

Sunela is not far from the slopes but in March it was not ski in ski out. We used the bus to get to the lifts each morning (bus stop is just outside Sunela) If we skied back there was a walk of less than 10 mins.

Location is excellent. Close to a few good trails in Dolomites. Property is in the heart of dolomites, still a little bit away from the main town. That makes it ideal for really getting a good feel of the mountains. Facilities within apartment are really good.

We had a wonderful stay in the 2 bed/2 bath apartment. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were large and, while the beds felt firm, which worried me, they were quite comfortable. We had mountain views from every window which were especially spectacular as the sun went down on the "burning Dolomites". The kitchen was well stocked with essential cooking equipment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is just on the outskirts of town and we actually liked being just outside of the hustle and bustle but only a short ride to the center. We thoroughly enjoyed the background music from the cowbells in the pasture across the street.

The only thing I would improve would be a sofa or another comfortable chair in the living room other than the one chair-futon provided. The large dining table was really the only place to sit.

Our apartment was clean, well equiped and very spacious with lovely views down into the valley. We thought that Selva di Val Gardena was a much more attractive town than Cortina d’ampezzo and will stay there and at Apartments Sunela in future visits to the Dolomites. The underground parking garage was also a plus as it snowed during our stay

Very clean and comfortable. Easy access to bus and Dantercepies Gondola. Otherwise easy 300 metre walk to slopes and 2 Poma rides (Mickey Mouse) to Dantercëpies or ski to Selva village and Ciampinoi Gondola.

Wifi was slow.

The manager Renate is very friendly and professional, always in touch and ready to help. Fantastic view and location, ideal size of all rooms, full equipment, including Nespresso coffee machine and even capsules, good quality of equipment and furniture. And very important - apartment is very clean, they have very good room service

Layout of apartment a little odd. Huge bedroom had sofa along one wall which made viewing fixed tv difficult. In diner/kitchen fixed bench seating a bit hatd

We rented two of the apartments with a group of couples and had a great stay. Renata and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the place is about a 5 min walk to skiing and a 10 min walk to the town
