We stayed two nights. The room was very comfortable with plenty of space to hang clothes. The bed was super comfortable - best sleep of the trip! The spa area is great, with an outdoor hot tub where you can relax with views of the mountains. The breakfast is outstanding, with homemade tarts & cakes.

We would have liked to have a glass of wine in the evening but weren't sure how to ask. We were there in between ski and summer seasons though, so it was overall pretty quiet.

One of the few places where you WANT to stay longer. Monica is such an amazing host that I’ve literally felt like home. Fantastic breakfasts made with her loving hands, extremely clean place, quiet too. Amazing view. This part of the Dolomites is not crowded with tourists so one doesn’t feel like other places there.

Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of town for any requirements. Very clean throughout whole premises. Good sized room with comfortable bed & very warm. Bar/restaurant provided good meals & our host was excellent - always smiling & friendly, providing excellent service. Extremely happy with our stay here & after spending 2 nights in Cortina D'Ampezzo, thought that this hotel & the city itself were far better as a location on the Dolomites

Loved Hotel Monte44 for many reasons. It is quiet, close to everything and with easy access to skiing in several parts of the Gardena complex. The whole hotel was recently updated and is under the amazing care of Monika, who singularly makes the place special. She is totally helpful and always willing to help guests get what they need for a pleasant stay.

I thought there would be a pool in addition to the sauna/steam bath - that would be a nice addition. Bus logistics are not the easiest, so you have to learn how to use the system - Monika helped us so we could maximize the benefit of the public transport.

Very well run hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, the breakfast was excellent and the overall value for money was very good.

It is a little bit of a walk or a bus into the town to access the ski lifts and restaurants.

Great location of the hotel. It is easy to get from town to town by bus, with good connections. The appartment was clean. The breakfast was great. Monika was very kind and helpful, gave us great advice for our trip to the Dolomites.

Our host Monika was so gracious and always helpful. Every morning’s breakfast was beautiful and delicious. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The robes were luxurious. Views from the balcony were amazing. Everything was wonderful

Very clean, well maintained, recently renovated ski lodge. Great view of the surroundings. Monica makes all the breakfast pastries and jams herself and is very knowledgeable about the area. An exceptional host!

Nothing - everything was perfect for our stay

The view from the room was outstanding, everything was clean and comfortable, and Monika was super helpful and welcoming. It is an easy walk to a great restaurant near the hotel. We would return there next time we are in Val Gardena!

Super clean hotel. Easy 5 minute walk to various shops and restaurants. Across the street from some walking trails. The view from everywhere is overwhelmingly amazing. The breakfast had a large amount of options and all were high quality. Helpful and friendly staff. We didn’t use the hot tub and sauna area but did check them out and they are super clean and nice looking.

The internet connection was a little spotty - but to be fair we were in the room furthest away from the router. If you’re just streaming videos/surfing, it’ll be fine.
