Location is awesome. The views are amazing!!! And a hiking trail starts just from the back of the rifugio. Breakfast had a lot of options, beds were comfortable. I picked the bed by the window and the view was incredible! Nice hot showers. They even had a hair dryer in the restroom

There were two showers and two toilet stalls. I can see how that can be a problem when the hostel is full ( 18 beds). Also I wish there was an outlet at every bed. Instead there’s only two power strips by the door where you can charge your devices.

Fantastic location with million dollar view. Large room with verandah, beds were comfortable. Large bathroom, with much appreciated bathtub and hairdryer. Surprisingly OK WI-FI. Restaurant downstairs for lunch and dinner. Good self serve breakfast, lots of savoury options German style. Free parking next to the chalet.

The location was superb with our room having 180 degree views of the Dolomites.

The breakfast was typical German/Northern Italian; meat, cheese and pastries. The coffee machine was not the greatest so we paid for a barrister made coffee which was excellent.

Dorm room was spacious for a refugio. Showers were hot. They sold premade vacuum packed sandwiches to bring for lunch. Tasty dinner in the restaurant.

Not much privacy in showers. Communal male/female but no changing area other than in shower itself, one communal shower curtain for two showers. 7.30am start for breakfast is a bit late for those looking to get out for the day.

Stayed at Alpin Hotel in Selva di Val Gardena. Simple, basic yet comfortable but the location is unbeatable. If you’re into great trails and want to step right into nature’s beauty, this is the perfect base. Here, it’s all about location, location, location!

The view from the room is amazing, and the location is great. There’s free parking if you’re traveling by car. It’s a clean and comfortable place to stay, with a cool terrace perfect for breakfast or dinner. Highly recommend!

The refugio is very well placed and you get a breathtaking view of passo di gardena

The shower curtain was not very private (I say this as a female solo traveller) and there was only one charging station but the door so not easy to charge your phone in the night!

Perfect location for our first few nights exploring the Dolomites. Amazing hikes right on the doorstep of rifugio frara. The in house restaurant serves great food, perfect after a big day of hiking.

Room was so clean and modern, so nice to stay in a rifugio, the view was immaculate. Food at restaurant was great.

Nice and simple hotel that is exactly what it says: super location, comfortable rooms, good food. Very welcoming and helpful staff!
