This place is a true gem. The hotel room (there are only 7 apartments) was very clean and large, with a cute balcony above a narrow lane with the sea visible at the end. There is also a roof terrace, offering lovely sunset views. The breakfast room is small and clean and you have a buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. Located in the heart of old Tropea, The Tower offers you the perfect base for a visit. This is not a giant place, therefore everywhere is within a short walk (no cars in this part of town). To reach the beach you have to go down the mains steps at the centre of the seafront, and these are not too far away, neither is the port, from where you can visit places like Stromboli and Panacea. Tropea is packed with restaurants, bars and shops and is super lively after sundown but in a good way, not too noisy. The old town, with its narrow lanes is atmospheric and interesting, and the view of the town from the beach is stunning.

No complaints whatsoever.

The location of this accommodation is fantastic. Downhill walk from the train station, less than 10mins to the beach and right in the middle of town - so plenty of bars and restaurants easily accessible. The staff are attentive and keep the place very clean. The breakfast had many options which filled me up. There is a terrace on the very top floor - one evening I bought a takeaway pizza and had my own sunset dinner (away from the crowds from other view points).

The showerhead in my room could not be adjusted as the adjustment screw was missing, but just used the rain shower head instead. This is absolutely not the accommodations fault, but as you are right in town, it is very loud until late at night (music went until 3am one night) - this was solved with a good pair of earplugs.

Fantastic location right in the middle of the town with heaps of great restaurants around, short walk to the beach. There is a great terrace on the roof, great place to sit and have a drink at the end of the day. Pasquale was very attentive, the breakfast was basic but nice, everything you need to start the day.

Lots of stairs to get the bags up (no elevator)

The location is perfect, right in the main area close to all restaurants and less than 10 minute walk to the beach. Our room, especially the bathroom, was very large and we could see the water from our balcony which was very nice. Included breakfast upstairs had various items to choose from and is typical from Italian breakfast. Anna was very helpful in extending our stay another time and keeping us in the same room, we appreciated that! They provide beach towels and umbrellas so noeed to spend tons of money at the beach clubs! We really loved our stay here and would book again.

In the heart of old town and so close to the ocean an all the restaurant and shops.

The staff were very friendly and were able to get me an iron that I desperately needed for my linen clothing that was vacuumed packed.

Excellent and strategic position, the facility is located within the centre. Moreover the staff has been friendly and gentle with costumers and the rooms are both beautiful and comfortable. A good quality/price. The best choice for your stay in Tropea

I loved the place. The manager Michael, his wife and all the staff were working tirelessly. Rooms are very comfy, clean, newly modernised and the location is amazing. Thank you for the wonderful stay! I miss you! See you again soon!

It was all great.

The location was brilliant for accessing the beaches and restaurants. The room and facilities were clean, with fantastic views overlooking the sea.

Despite the facilities being clean, the bed was too low and the mattress was hard. At night time it can get a little noisy outside as it's located by bars and restaurants.

Great location in the heart of the old town! Great restaurants and few steps away! Property was modern and neat with a great balcony!

Being in the heart of town there was a lot of street noise at all hours of the night that woke us up many times. However would happily stay again in this great B&B
