My wife and I stayed 9 nights at Townhouse Tropea. From the start everything was above expectations. Paolo the owner’s son picked us up at the airport. On the ride from the airport, he provided us information about Tropea and its many offerings from the Beaches to the Restaurants. It is a hotels job to make your stay enjoyable. The difference about Townhouse is they did it out of true caring for their guests not because it was their job. We stayed in Room 202. We had a nice balcony with a partial view of the Sea. The location is the best. Everything you want from the beach to the many fine restaurants are not more than a 5-minute walk. The shower was excellent with instant hot water and plenty of pressure. The a/c was also good. The room was well appointed with a mini bar, desk, sofa and Queen size comfortable bed. The hotel has a solarium on the roof to enjoy your morning breakfast. You must get their breakfast it is a wonderful bargain and Ayelene who was always smiling and pleasant is there to prepare your style of coffee and prepare fresh eggs. The buffet has all you would want. You can also go to the Solarium in the evening with a bottle of wine and look over the Town of Tropea. In the full season they also have a bartender in the evening. Sara cleaned our rooms. I guarantee you cannot find anyone who does a better job. The room is spotless. The room is cleaned early it was completed no later than 11:30. Sofia works the desk and always greets you with a smile and a Buon Giorno or Buona Sera. She is there to answer any questions you may have. Just a quick note about how caring and professionalism of Townhouse. I had a medical issue and Paolo had a driver pick us up and take us to the hospital. He checked in at the hospital to see my progress and had someone drive me back to the hotel. He checked in the following morning to see if we needed anything. This is an organization that cares about their guests. We can’t wait to return to see our friends

Townhouse Tropea is located in a great part of town and was within easy walking distance to the beach. The room was impeccably clean (thank you to the amazing cleaner) and we enjoyed the generous and delicious breakfast. The room was comfortable, although smaller than other rooms on our travels. Paolo was great at helping us with information and recommendations for our stay, and we also went on a boat ride with him, which we loved. The hotel also has a secure carpark available (at a fee) within walking distance from the hotel.

We thought the room was noisy at night, so we recommend packing earplugs. Our room was located on the 4th floor with no lift, which we found challenging with luggage.

Rossella was really helpful with recommendations for restaurants, things to do and local knowledge. She was a great host, very personable and a true asset to townhouse! Nothing was too much, everything was effortless and she was very hospitable making us very welcome throughout our stay 💯. Our daily maid was one of the best we have ever experienced, she was incredible at organising and resetting the room each day, all her efforts were greatly appreciated !!

The air conditioning whilst it was modern it did struggle to keep the room cool, rooms are a little small if you are on a long trip with lots of luggage but this is also expected from central historic locations.

We had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic hotel during our vacation, and we can’t recommend it enough. The location is absolutely perfect—situated in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the nearby attractions. Our room was spotless, with a noticeable attention to cleanliness throughout the entire hotel, which made our stay even more comfortable. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the outstanding staff. Every member of the team was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request or question. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant and relaxing experience. We will definitely be returning in the future!

The location is great for walking anywhere in the historical district. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and coordinated with a garage for parking within easy walking distance to the hotel. The gentleman who ran the garage was also very nice and accommodating. The room was lovely and included a balcony. We took advantage of the rooftop area for breakfast and enjoying the sun. It was a lovely small hotel and we would stay there again when visiting Tropea. As in many places, there are stairs to climb with your bags so be prepared for this.

The property is new and is better than what is in photos. Location is great . Management is excellent . I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely old town house on the edge of the old town. Great views from the roof terrace, where a very good breakfast is served. The service from the receptionists was exceptional. We had a great stay here after a bit of disastrous introduction to the town, and it really made up for it.

Being an old building, there are quite a few stairs to navigate; and there was a lot of noise from the street late into the night and early in the morning - but that’s what you get for a central location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropea Townhouse. The room was very nice and the location was perfect in the center of Tropea. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of things to choose from. The best part for us was the warm welcoming and the good service. The receptionist Rossella was so helpful and gave us a lot of good tips where to eat and helped us with both dinner reservations and finding the best transfer to the airport.

Everything was fantastico! The staff, the rooms, the location, and the roof top terrace. We enjoyed every part of this property. We would stay here again and again and recommend to our family and friends.

Truly the only down side was the stairs to the room. We didn’t have any issue walking up and down them but if you are someone who has heavy luggage or can’t climb 3 flights of stairs this might not be for you.

We simply LOVED our stay at Townhouse Tropea! The location couldn't be better, offering stunning views of the rolling mountains from not only the amazing rooftop, but also from our room/balcony. What truly sets this place apart though is the receptionist - David - who went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met with enthusiasm and care. He even surprised us with a room upgrade and in general simply made us very comfortable throughout all the stay. If you're looking for a little cozy stay in a prime location including exceptional service - stop searching. 10/10
