Stunning old building with beautiful view of the sea. We chose the room with balcony. It was spacious and comfortable. Lots of windows and doors. The B&B is run by a lovely family, Maria and her two sons, Roberto and Pasquale. They were all delightful and attentive. The stay included a delicious breakfast with a variety of homemade sweet and savory treats made by Maria. Location is fantastic, everything you need is only steps away. We enjoyed our wine and charcuterie at La Dispensa by Boca, just below our windows. And the Minimarket da Pina (owned by sister of Maria) is a wonderful market with everything you need. One of our absolute favorite B&Bs ever. Highly recommend.

Don't rely on maps to find the front door. Historic Center of Tropea is layered and street address on google maps doesn't really get you there. Better directions would have been nice. Having said that, Roberto was responsive and it was a very minor issue.

Excellent location, right in the middle of Tropea. Such a warm reception from our hosts. Fantastic breakfast every day - special mention to the cheese and ham pastries and homebaked cakes and tarts. Wonderful view from the balcony out to sea. We loved our stay. Highly recommend the Minimarket da Pina next to the B&B for fresh focaccia filled with prosciutto cotto, sundried tomato and provolone!

The host Rosaria was so lovely, she would prepare the most amazing breakfast, most homemade with produce from her garden. The accomodation was close to the steps to go to the beach and Resteraunts were as close as downstairs

The stairs may not suit someone which mobility issues, as they are steep, no different to most places though

The location and the view was incredible! The breakfast was lovely and the coffee served was superb with a perfect view! I loved my stay at B&B Rivellini. It’s a 10mon walk to the train station and so easy to get there. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore Tropea. The people in this town are so friendly and lovely.

The language may be a barrier for some but there is nothing a translator can’t help with. Also as mentioned in other reviews the stairs maybe an issue for some people. I loved my stay here!

The place has a great view to the sea. It is in a quiet location, small but very sweet and authentic, spotlessly clean. And Rosaria is simply the best host I ever met, very friendly and warm. Her breakfast is wonderful.

If one is older, the stairs are an obstacle to overcome but it is part of the historic building.

A wonderful location in Tropea, and beautiful room and breakfast room with great views. A very warm welcome from the lovely family who run the place, and who it was a pleasure to get to know. Very kind and considerate. As others have mentioned, an exceptional breakfast was provided every day. Would be happy to stay again.

Breakfast was very plentiful. Pastries, cakes, yoghurt, ham & cheese pastry, coffee, juices. Very good. Angela who served us each morning was very bright & cheery. She was very accommodating on the early morning when we were leaving Tropea & had breakfast waiting for us. Although she doesn’t speak Italian we were able to communicate with google translate. The room was very cosy & very clean but quite small which didn’t bother us. We had a sea view from the bedroom window. Also a beautiful view of the sea from the dining area. Great location. Close to everything.

Beware: The stairs up to the B&B are very steep & narrow. The shower has a hand held nozzle but didn’t work very well. There is, as well, a rain shower but I prefer the hand held. Other than that everything else was good.

The staff was exceptionally gracious, warm, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. The rooms and breakfast area were extremely clean with gorgeous views. The location was within the historical center but also close to access the central stairs to the beach. They had umbrellas for guests to use, a washing machine, assisted with dinner reservations and arranging transportation and even offered to drive us to the train station. This was truly an oasis within an already spectacular area of Italy.

That it’s not within driving distance to San Francisco, California USA!!!

Charming accommodation in old town, steps away from restaurants and shops. The apartment is fresh, clean and bright and is lovingly cared for by Rosaria and her family. Breakfast is delicious and coffee-perfecto - thank you Roberto! We feel very fortunate to have found this gem in Tropea.

A lovely family run B & B. Breakfast was fresh and the cakes baked by Rosaria herself. Perfect location in the heart of the centre storico Communication was easy and effective. The views while having breakfast was gorgeous. Definitely worth a stay.

Only thing I'd advise on is the fact there are steep stairs. 2nd level is definitely a task to get up to if you have reasonable size baggage....just go slow.
