Me and my partner had an amazing stay at B&B Island! Location: the location was perfect, right in the centre so all restaurants and bars are within minutes walk, the stairs down to the beach are literally right outside (around 10 minutes walk in total with the stairs), and only 10 minutes walk from the train station. Due to the central location it can be a little noisy at night time but that didn’t bother us at all, we were able to sleep just fine. Room: the room we stayed in was absolutely stunning, it had a view of the sea and the church which was perfect for eating breakfast in the morning with a view. The room itself was extremely clean, the bed was super comfortable and the air con was great. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a coffee machine, fridge with free refreshments and a TV too. Nicely decorated and stylish! Breakfast: the breakfast was perfect for us, we were given the option to eat in the reception/breakfast area or to take the food into our room and eat on the balcony which we chose to do. The breakfast had little changes each day so there was some variety, was basically fruits, yogurts, pastries, pancakes, cheese, ham, toast and spreads etc. We also had lovely cappuccinos made for us each morning! Staff: WONDERFUL! We had a bit of a nightmare with the train from Lamezia Terme Centrale to Tropea so we didn’t arrive till around 7:30pm, this was no problem for the staff and we were greeted with warmth. I must give a special shout out to the lady who did the breakfast, she was so kind and helpful and really made our stay comfortable, and her cappuccinos were delightful! Overall, I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Tropea. Thank you!

B&B Island Vista Mare is in a perfect location and the room did indeed have a wonderful sea view! It was a large and comfortable room with a great shower.

The staff is only there for check-in and breakfasts. That was fine, but just not what we expected; it was more of an AirBNB than a B&B. It would have been nice to have a bit more info on what was open in town off season, for example, or someone to ask those sort of questions of.

Perfect location above the perfect beach! Able to walk everywhere in Tropea for shopping, sightseeing and dinner. Great breakfast and the view from our room was incredible. Great air conditioning, shower, and comfortable bed. Plan for ascending many stairs cases, take your time and rest between levels. Do not take large suitcases. Leave them in car and pack an overnight bag. It will be much easier to carry.

Perfect parking right below hotel but very expensive to park for 24 hrs. It worked perfectly for us though bc we kept the beach umbrella and floats in the car and got them on the way to the beach. Steps going down to beach not bad at all, coming up is rough, but beautiful scenery during rest breaks on way up. Room small but clean with the best view!

The location is in perfect proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfast provided each day was lovely. Cesare was an absolute gentleman and made every aspect of our stay (including transportation) thoroughly enjoyable.

The room was clean and modern and perfect for what you would expect for a bed and breakfast. Our room was a bit small but it was fine for our travel purposes being that we did not spend much time in the room anyway.

Amazing, Clean and great value for the room and location. We stayed on the middle flooor and top floor for our 4 day trip. It was perfect for two people. It was quiet during the evening and you want to be a little away from the business of the streets. We could walk to anyplace in Tropea whether it be shops, restaurants and beaches within 5 to 15 mins. You could watch the Sunrise and Sunset from the Top balcony. There is a convenient souvenir, groceries, restaurants and ATM machine right next door.

There was really nothing we did not like. Everything was excellent. The only feedback would be the breakfast. The free breakfast was adequate but there are better options for those use to a North American style breakfast just a few steps away from the hotel.

The B&B is in an amazing location, I had a breathtaking vista of the sea and the castle from my room. The room is really comfortable and well equipped with coffee and tea. Communication was smooth, staff was super nice, the breakfast was delicious.

The B and B is in a great location to explore Tropea. It’s centrally located with easy access to restaurants, cafes, gelateria’s and also the steps down to the sea. We loved taking our morning coffee on Jr. Suite’s private patio in the morning and watching the sunset from there was so magical! Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and our early check in. A great property overall, and fantastic stay! Thank you!

Setting was pleasant with an opportunity to meet the other guests. The staff was wonderful and Joshua was a tremendous help from the moment we arrived as he came out to the street and got us settled in the parking lot across the street and the best spot to park for our entire stay. The kindness and effort from everyone was much appreciated!

The lack of a view from our room. If we could have had a window view or the area that would ahve been a bonus but otherwise the location was perfect!

Found this to be a perfect location for visiting Tropea - just on the edge of the old town but with street parking nearby. Our room had a sea view, was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also a decent size, especially the shower, with good hot water and a great rainfall shower head. The bed was comfortable. The room had A/C (which we needed for heat in mid-November at night), extra blanket, fridge, kettle and espresso machine. The host was great, meeting us outside and directing us to a free parking spot across the street. There are only four rooms so it was nice and quiet in the evening. Breakfast buffet was nice: croissants, sliced meats and cheese, yogurt, juice and some sweets. Very nice stay!

We were the last guests to eat breakfast and it was picked over pretty good - no more of the fresh fruit left.

The location was excellent. It is a walking distance from train station and it is close to everything: beach, cafe and restaurants. There are so many beautiful restaurants in alleyways around the corner.

The bathroom was very small and there is nowhere to put anything but that is perhaps what we paid for. I can’t complain considering the location.
