If you decide to go to Tropea you will have to stay in De LoCa Rooms B&B !!! That is a must !!! I CAN RECOMAND THIS PLACE 100% ! ❤️ The owner, Giuseppe, is the most friendliest and helpfull person I ever met on my many different vacations. His wife makes the best homemade cakes for Breakfast. Breakfast is delicious, wide range, even glutean free. Giuseppe helps you for everything. You feel so safe like at home. The place is in the middle of the centre of the old town, you go outside and you are in the middle of everything, Shops, Restaurants, Bars .... and the beach is very near. But it is absolutely silent! Giuseppe provides you with Beachcloth, Beachumbrella, ... you will get so spoiled. The bathroom, shower is great as the shower is big. With my long hair it's always hard to have enough space but in this shower ... so comfortable!!! And the water pressure is nice! Even the hairdryer was like at hone, an ordinary big one not like the useless hairdryers in big Hotels which you can't move and having no power. The aircon is needed and perfect working. The whole place smells so good and clean! I am fascinated from this place, what a lovely family !!! And there were young couples, young girls, me ... old girl .. so everybody feels comfortable But I can recomand also for Single travellers as Giuseppe is helping so much and his English is perfect !!! My native language is German, but as in Tropea are international Tourists I am writing this in English I am Manuela from Vienna. I am a reall customer, just sitting in Lamezia Airport going home waiting for my belayted flight!

Nothing to complain - even the other guests (mostly you only see them during breakfast) were very friendly and always with a smile. I guess because of the lovely atmosphere on this place.

We had a lovely stay in the room with the terrace for 7 nights. The room itself was lovely with comfy bed and amazing bathroom. The breakfasts were super nice, especially the baked goods made by the hosts! Giuseppe was super lovely guy and very knowledgeable about the local area, giving us lots of great tips. The location is right in the centre of tropea, but somehow hidden away making it feel tucked away from the busy streets. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back! Thank you to our hosts :))

We liked everything. This is simply one of the best accommodations we've been to in Italy. Giuseppe (the host) was super friendly and more than helpful. He provided suggestions regarding restaurant, cafes etc. Very fast responses, very useful information and overall I cannot express how good the communication was. The facilities in the property are just as described. Newly renovated, looks cozy and comfortable. The location is also great - right in the middle of the old town, yet only 1 min walk to the stairs that lead you to the beach (you can hardly find anything closer to the beach). If I could put more than 10, I would do that.

Totally recommend! I've been in Tropea for the first time, but I think it's the best place to stay there. The owner was really sweet and helpful. We were welcomed and servised warmly. Though we arrived early in the morning, Giuseppe met us, offered a breakfast and our room was ready earlier than it says in the information. Placement is perfect, in the center but also quiet. Very good cleaning. They also gave us towels and an umbrella for the beach. The breakfast is simple, but everything is great and fresh, the owner's wife was even baking different cakes (delicious btw). If we ever come in Tropea again, we will probably stay here!

I absolutely loved the terrace where the breakfast was served daily, and the food itself, especially fresh orange juice and lemon cake. The location is perfect, a minute away from all the hustle but still peacefully quiet for sleeping. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable, fridge filled with drinks came in handy. Lastly, the host is lovely, he has so many recommendations and is always reachable, before and during the trip. Special thanks for the books in the lobby :)

Tropea, deep in Calabria, perched dramatically above the Tyrrhenian Sea on the Coast of the Gods, it's spectacular. With a charming historical and cultural center, its literally mythical: one legend says it was founded by Hercules! Its piazza over looking its pristine white beaches, shadowed by the dramatic rock formations, cliffs, coves, and grottoes, its coastline, against the sparkling turquoise waters is stunning. The stacked houses of old Tropea, is impossibly clinging to their own immense rock, opposite a 6th-century monastery. I spent hours wandering Tropea’s enchanting maze of cobblestone, pedestrian-only streets lined with grand palazzi, restaurants, pizzerias, cafés, gelaterias, and artisan shops. Proud of its ancient history of 2000 years, Tropea is renowned for its Cipolla Rossa, sweet and delicate, where you will see them tied or braided in bunches everywhere. I met wonderful people, like Giuseppe and Mauro, which recommended such amazing places, unknown! To conclude, the big nose guy warded off the evil eye, and keeps bringing good luck! The location is unbeatable, with fantastic restaurants just a stone's throw away, allowing us to indulge in delicious Italian cuisine every evening. The beautiful beach is only a short walk from the bed and breakfast, making it easy to spend our days soaking up the sun and enjoying the crystal-clear waters. Every morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast, featuring an array of delicious homemade cakes baked by the owner's wife. These personal touches made our mornings even more special and memorable. Overall, this bed and breakfast in Tropea is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was great!

We liked absolutt everything during our stay. Comfortable room and bed. The outstanding brakfast on the terrasse having all we needed for å good start. We will never forget the varitu of freshly homemade cake offeret. The host and his wife as well as houskeeping staff was all outstanding in the way we were treated. And not to forget the location. When I was reading through the reviews, I couldn’t believe that the place would actually be as perfect as described by guests’ experience. But honestly, omg, it was amazing! Most importantly for me, I felt safe, genuinely welcomed and comfortable! The hotel is located in the heart of Tropea and it took me 10 minutes to get to the beach and 1-5 minutes to get anywhere else. The train station is 15 minutes away. Perfection! The building is just very slightly hidden from the main street, but easily accessible and there was a lot of light in the evenings, so it wasn’t scary or anything at all. And also it makes the area very quiet with no noises around. There are a few stairs though, but it wasn’t an inconvenience for me at all. The room and common areas such as reception and a terrace were absolutely beautiful, very clean, aesthetic and cosy. The room had everything I needed, enough storage space as for me, and a modern and clean bathroom. The breakfast could offer anything one could ask for: fresh fruit, yogurts, toasts with jam and honey, bread and a selection of meat and cheese, croissants, juices, teas, and really delicious coffee. Finally, there was new bakery prepared every day, and I really loved the chocolate tarts, apricot cake and a coconut cake, they were incredibly good! To my understanding there are not many guests staying in total, which created a very homey atmosphere. A special thank you to the host Giuseppe, because honestly, I have never met a host who would be so dedicated and willing to help with literally anything! Giuseppe shared a list with recommended places to visit as well, and they were all great, I’ve tried almost half of them. There were also beach towels and umbrellas available to use free of charge. I could keep talking about how much I loved my experience there, and I couldn’t be happier about choosing this hotel. I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful B&B in Tropea! The room was modern, fresh, and impeccably clean. The location couldn't have been better: right in the center, with everything just steps away, including the stunning main beach of Tropea. Shoutout to Giuseppe the host, he went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and massively saved our holiday! Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Tropea!
