Perfectly located just outside the historic centre. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely view from the terrace.

The apartment next door was occupied by some extremely noisy people who had absolutely no consideration for the peace of others. They spent their time ( starting early morning and continuing until the evening or at least when we were there) shouting from the inside of the building to the terrace and vice versa. Also, being there for 3 nights, we expected the apartment to be serviced but, when on day 2 it wasn’t , we assumed that wasn’t part of the deal. Then on the day 3 a maid arrived. Some consistency would have been helpful.

One of the best in the city. Villa is beautiful very modern with spectacular views from terrace. All space is clean and well equipped. Location is just perfect few steps from old town. You can rent parking garage space for 15 euros per day just next door. Big thanks to Polish lady Marlena for making our stay more cozy.

Location was excellent - a few minutes (flat) to the centre but in a quiet garden so all you could hear were the birds. Beautiful view over the gorge and to the port and the sea. Terrace furniture was really nice. Clothes airer and deckchairs too. Our apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed (apart from maybe a kettle). The ladies came in every 2 days to clean and change towels etc. Cold water and coffee pods available from the pergola downstairs. Jugs provided. We didn’t cook anything to be fair, but there seemed to be plenty pots/plates/utensils etc. No contact entry worked well. Bed was comfortable, plenty of towels. All communication with Oscar before the trip was excellent, and in fact he helped us enormously when my husbands suitcase didn’t arrive on our flight. Without him, Im not sure we would ever have seen it again. Lots of places to eat and drink in Tropea, but worth mentioning it’s probably not the best place for the less mobile - steps to beach and cobbled streets. Food at La Lamia and Maresusa stands out. Breakfast pastries at Deodato (near the apartment) Couple of small mini markets nearby for essentials. Oscar organised us a transfer from Lamezia Centrale when we arrived but we walked up to Tropea station for onward journey. Straightforward trip of about 15 mins but it is uphill all the way. All in all we had a lovely stay (missing suitcase not withstanding) and I would highly recommend.

Nothing. A kettle would have been a bonus - but then we are British 😂. There was plumbing for a washing machine, which would have been excellent, but it was clear from details that there wasn’t one.

This must be the best place to stay in Tropea. It is 50 meter from the city center, yet it has a very good view on the gorge and sea with the harbour in the distance. The appartment is large and has 2 bedrooms (with the bathroom between them so no noise) and easily sleeps four people. It is brand new, very clean, very modern. We had a balcony with a view, the floor below us had a bit larger terrace, but less view (I think). Both excellent. You can park the car in the street or they have a deal for 15 euro per day for a secure parking spot on 7 minutes by foot. When you want to go to Tropea center, it is literally 50 meters walk and you are at the start of the main street. And two mini markets with fresh bread, mozarella and ham within 2 minutes walk. It was terrific and we enjoyed every day.

Nothing major I can think off. It is really an excellent place. Oke, three tiny points: - Would be nice to have a bowl for cereals. - Second, the kitchen was modern with hidden grips, we always searched for the 'hidden' drawers with cutlery. - The sun was already hot in the morning, so a parasol on the balcony would have been nice.

Oscar and Simone were great hosts. Anything that came up they were happy to help.Beautiful home with amazing history and spectacular views. My family and I enjoyed the city and beach everything was at our fingertips. I suggest going to the local fish and meat market the house is wonderful to cook in to just enjoy the beautiful views.

We brought my mother-in-law 79 years old. Wish the city offered a little trolley for the seniors to get down to the beach. There is no way they can make the hike back up the stairs.

Usually I don’t write reviews. But this time I wanted to write this review and share with you all my great and wonderful experience that I had. The owner Oscar and Simona, are the best. I have never had such a great hosting experience. Thanks very much. The apartment was wonderful, the location could never be any better, it’s just at the downtown, the apartment has all what you ever needed, the rooms are clean and nice, the kitchen has all the appliances that you would need, the AC works perfectly, there’s a big bathroom with the shower and all the toiletries, and not to forget about the balcony which has a breathtaking view over the sea. The balcony has a really nice table and comfortable chairs. They provide you with a free supply of still and sparkling wanter as much as you need. The room cleaning service is great. The owners helped me and my family in everything that we needed, for instance arranging a mini van to take us from and to the airport, activities recommendation and offered a discount on booking them, getting some stuff from the supermarket and many other things. I would highly recommend this stay for everyone if you’re looking for a place where you feel the most friendly atmosphere and enjoy the city. Thanks a lot Oscar and Simona and we would definitely visit you again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at S'O Suites Tropea, and it was an unforgettable experience. No breakfast but wasn’t important.Location was amazing.just a short walk to the main drag and loved that our street lead straight to beach.understand that the town of Tropea sits on hilltop so there’s always a short walk and steps leading to beach,no escaping that.transportation is available if you want but we loved the walk.

loved it all.locations,rooms and staff was always helpful and friendly.truly a hidden gem where your not in the middle of the noise but a 2 minute walk to the middle of everything.almost forgot the beautiful views from balcony.all rooms have views of hilltops and ocean.

The view was incredible, with a gorgeous patio overlooking the marina. It had all the amenities of a VRBO but with the service of a hotel. Ladies available to clean and refresh the room and restock your espressos, plus on demand taps for cold water and sparkling water and ice cubes. It was also a very sound proof room with air conditioning. The place was half a block from the bustling downtown region and a short walk, up/down a lot of stairs, to the beach. Amazing service from the staff for questions.

We honestly loved it. Nothing we didn’t like. The only thing we didn’t realize was how much service we got, missed that in the info package. Didn’t realize we could get fresh towels and such, which was a great surprise on day 2

Wonderful location and very quiet. Spacious apartment with a gorgeous view of the bay and harbor from a roomy terrace and living room. The floors are heated, which made such a difference when the air outside got chilly in the evening. The housekeeper is super nice and keeps everything, including outside, spotless. Large shower with delicious smelling shampoo and soap. I was here in the off-season with my little dog and the value was excellent.

The petite sofa wasn't the most comfortable for enjoying Netflix. Everything else was fantastic.
