Breakfast was great, with a variety of foods and juices. The staff was excellent and very helpful to try to satisfy any special requests. The location is excellent, right in center of town, by the main street going down to the ocean. Also a few minutes walk from the train station, if you don't have a car. The room was very comfortable and large. The building was very attractive, like an old villa, with a nice garden to allow you to relax. Breakfast was actually served in the garden.

I had use of a kitchen. There was a green grocer nearby. The beach is easily accessed and the water was warm. Although the beach is covered with rented chairs and umbrellas the sea was virtually empty. Take a towel and you are all set. I enjoyed the large veranda with a movable shade. My room was charming with a distinctive ceiling. I cannot say enough about how helpful and kind the owner is. Although I was not driving, there is a gated parking area. And the hotel is walking distance to tourist dining and shopping. I suggest walking away from the tourist area and looking for restaurants that are less pricey farther out.

I liked the hotel enough to stay an extra week. It is so comfortable and close to the beach. The wifi was good. The rooms I stayed in were quiet. Book early if you want to take the day trip to the volcano. My booking was cancelled because there weren't enough people to make it cost effective.

We stayed here in November so out of season and got a great deal to stay here, it was so cheap. The hotel is really nice, very clean and comfy. The staff are warm and welcoming and the breakfast is very good. Served outside, which is lovely in the sunny weather. It is in a great location, near all the attractions but on a quiet street so it isn't noisy. Tropea is beautiful with amazing beaches which are only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Plenty of lovely restaurants around too.

Perfect location and unbeatable price. Walking distance to train station and one block from a lovely piazza with food, shops, ATM. Staff was friendly, and offered many options for dinner, activities.

The hype in the promo was too good to be true. I arrived with quite high expectations and found a "diamond in the rough." Could not book shuttles from website, the doorkey needed a lot of jiggling to work, AC was more like a fan than a cooler (it was boiling hot and humid in Tropea the days I was there), towels were thin and scratchy, mattress was very soft compared to others (I had been traveling for a couple of weeks already), breakfast was OK, weirdly served with child-sized cutlery. That said, when I re-checked the price on the reservation, it turned out to be a good value for high season travel. With a few tweaks, this property could be fabulous.

The room was big enough for 2 adults and 1 baby. They provided cot with pillow and blanket for baby free of charge. Room was clean and tidy. staff was nice. Bathroom was clean. At the bathroom we had (shampoo/body wash/ soap/hair caps). Plenty of towels for each person (face/body/hands). Enough toilet paper rolls. In the room we had cattle and tea bags. In the fridge was water for additional charge. When we were leaving (out of hours) hotel at the 4 am we just left the keys in the room.

In the night was very noisy because of the cars outside. motorcycles outside was waking up my baby.

I liked few things: the location and staff. The location was superb, literally 5 min away from the Main Street with cafes and restaurants that leads straight to the viewpoint of the sea. Hosts were so kind and welcoming, I had a feeling like I’m staying at my grandma’s house with a garden.

The shower: the pressure didn’t work in my room and it leaked to the bathroom floor after every use.

Perfect accommodation in this beautiful town. Not far from the historical center, in a quiet street. The hotel and all the rooms are clean, cozy, excellent breakfast in a pleasant garden setting. Everything is great. But the best thing was the staff's attitude - a very helpful receptionist, she met all my requests - she even arranged to extend my stay by two nights.

Everything is positive, there is nothing to criticize.

Good location- in the city, but on a street behind. Cute garden. Nice staff. Borrowed an umbrella and towel for the beach :-) Really nice building- and the room was really nice- very high to the ceiling, and well renovated!

I got a room facing the street, the windows are very old and not isolated- very much street noise from cars and scooters. Bring ear plugs!

It was very pleasant. I was traveling solo and had the perfect room facing the garden. I loved the historical exterior and the modern interior.

There was a little street noise, but nothing out of the ordinary, and to be expected in this centrally located facility. There is street parking but best to get there early to find it. I parked in an illegal spot by mistake and went to move it later at 11:30 pm and It was hard to find a spot on a Friday night, but everything is close so parking a few blocks away wasn’t that inconvenient.

This was our first trip to Tropea. We selected Villa Vittoria without personal knowledge. We were pleased with the location; in the middle of the main areas; We walked everywhere. The breakfast was great; better than others on our trip. The staff; Ilenia and Anna Maria were exceptional; helpful and pleasant. We would certainly stay again. We appreciated the Beach Shuttle. We used it once when we had tired.

The only negative was no elevator to get luggage to upper floors. We did manage fine.
