The breakfast was incredible! Lived up to my expectations. My son, husband and I all loved it. Breakfast and reception staff were so kind and accommodating. Breakfast staff would make my son a frothed milk each morning and sprinkle cocoa powder on top. I loved that you could get beach towels and umbrellas there every morning to bring down to the beach. My son loved the huge shower and made it easy to clean him up after a day at the beach. It was less than a 15 min walk to the beach. The value is incredible.

No blackout curtains which made sleeping past dawn a challenge for my son and husband who are light sleepers.

The hotel was located on a quiet street, just off the main piazza. The hotel was pristine, clean and also smelled clean. The staff was friendly and jovial. A very welcoming environment, and obviously willing to assist with any need. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and accommodating. Especially with special needs and getting back uphill to the train station.The morning we departed.

Breakfast does not open until eight o'clock, so there was a line both days and the person in the kitchen was always scolding people.

Location was close to the beach and restaurants. Hotel was overall very comfortable. The breakfast every morning was simple but offered enough. Lastly the staff were friendly and I would stay here again.

Intially had a small mix up with our room. With the variety of room options, its key to know what you are booking. Although the same were very accommdating and ensured the mix up was sorted out, it did result in initally getting a smaller room. Some rooms do not offer outside windows.

We enjoyed our stay at Colomba so much that we'd love to stay again when we visit Tropea next time. The hotel is super clean and stylish. It is located by Piazza Vittorio Veneto where is few minutes walk away from the gorgeous old town. It's in a quiet residential area where has few stores, restaurants and bars. Although the hotel only has 3 floors, it has a glassed lift which would easily fit a wheelchair with couple of people together. We stayed at the Deluxe room on the top floor which has a double shower room, a juliet balcony, Trussardi wallpaper, white marble floor and a powerful air conditioner. The WiFi is really fast too (tested at 55.1 Mbps for download and 16 Mbps for upload). The key reason we enjoyed that stay so much is the uber friendly staff. Manuela and Eleonora at the reception were so charming and helpful. Valentina made the best coffee at the breakfasts and she was full of joy and energy. Every guest enjoyed chatting with them. There were another two male staff who we didn't manage to get their names but they were also really friendly too. They all made us feel like home and that's why we would love to stay there again. They are definitely the assets of the hotel and they have made the experience so special and unforgettable. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and really can't wait to visit Tropea again.

Position was good, not far from the train station. Hotel room was spacious and well furnished. Bathroom spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and the breakfast lady was friendly and very helpful.

Guests could ask for beach towels and they would be provided according to the house rules. We asked twice and they said none available even though it was end of season and not full.

Everything about this hotel was excellent from the amazing front desk staff to the elegance and the cleanliness. The breakfast was very good, although at times it could use some quicker replenishing, however the quality and variety was great. The location of this hotel was perfect as it was within a short walk to the Centro of Tropea but not close enough to be bothered by the noise. Our group of friends all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colomba D'Oro ... thank you!

Comfortable, quiet, clean! If you love sweet breakfast, this is the place to stay - extremely wide choice of pastries. Very friendly staff!

No vegetables, eggs or much of a salty food for breakfast, mainly only pastries, fruits. It was not possible to pay with credit card when checking out, but staff was friendly and solved the issue otherwise.

First of all, extremely kind and helpful staff. The hotel is located very close to the city centre yet in quiet and calm area. It’s by 5 mins walking distance from the restaurants, old centre, sea and all the viewpoints. I loved the design of a hotel and the room. It was very clean, with very comfortable bed. I loved every minute of my stay and would definitely come back if ever in Tropea again :) Thank you!

It's pretty everything we expected in a good way! Spacious room and bathroom, big comfy bed, overall cleanliness, good toilet / shower, etc. The staff was really friendly and the building is in top condition.

Breakfast was good but not excellent. It could have more food and drink options (natural orange juice). The pastries (Cornetto, etc) were not as good as other places in Italy. This being said, the staff was really friendly!

This was a really great location. The hotel is very nice. We had breakfast the morning we left to go back to Rome. Suzanna was the best. She had Italian music playing in the restaurant and was singing with it. It truly was a cheerful atmosphere. She was so pleasant to be around and made sure that we were comfortable. She made the best coffee. I loved the fact that the hotel was only a couple of blocks from the piazza in the city center of Tropea.
