This B & B is a gem, if you are thinking of visiting Tropea you should book this immediately! It's in a great location within easy reach of the train station, and a short walk from the historic centre of Tropea. The room was perfect - clean, comfortable and with a small balcony. Very comfy bed, great shower and loads of towels provided daily. The owner and staff put a lot of care and thought into what they provide for their guests. The breakfast options really offered something for everyone, from Calabrian specialities cooked daily to the more usual cornflakes and croissants. We really appreciated the cakes and snacks left out each day, and it was a really nice touch to be able to get a coffee at any time of day. The staff were so kind and helpful, and were happy to answer any questions and give us advice on the area. This was an inexpensive stay, and we felt fortunate to have made such a good choice of accommodation - we had a great holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tropea. Grazie mille Aldo, Anna. Communication was excellent and Aldo met us at the station even though we missed a train and were two hours late. The rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was great. Food and drinks were available all day. B&B Vanity is a short walk to the main areas. We loved the beach and felt proud of ourselves for climbing the very doable steps down to it. Tropea was one of our favourite places in Italy, made all the more pleasant by the hospitality of Anna at B&B and the excellence of her place. A definite winner. Thank you Anna and Aldo.

Excellent small B&B , close to everything in Tropea centre. B&B is a gem. Great room , high spec, comfy bed, safe and fridge. B reakfast was continental style with great selection.They even offered snacks, cake and drinks all day which was brilliant. B&B is in third floor with lift but need to go down a flight of stairs to get to it. A perfect place to explore Tropea at a great price. Shout out to Anna and Francesca who provided useful recommendations , a map and helped to make our stay in Tropea amazing.

Not the B&Bs issue at all. The behaviour of other guests at breakfast. Like gannets filling their plates with mounds of food There was plenty to eat after breakfast opens at 8am. Suggest having breakfast a little later which was more relaxed.

- absolutely one of the best breakfast services I've ever had (after 10+ years of travelling) - classic options like scrambled eggs, omlette, veggies, hams and cheeses, but also great variety of local products + everyday new freshly prepared sides (for example carmelised carrots with walnuts, grilled aubergine); absolutely loved it! + kitchen was generally accessible all the time - very good location - close both to city centre and train station - very good communication with B&B staff - clean and tidy

Clean, comfortable room. Reasonable good breakfast with sweet and salty choices. Very nice hosts. It was nice to have access to the breakfast area all day/night long (drinks and cakes available)

The owners keep in touch to arrange your arrival and are very welcoming. The location is an easy walk from the train station and perfectly located at the edge of the old town. Vanity is so well designed with many thoughtful touches - plenty of storage space, including in the bathroom, nice toiletries, slippers, very clean and modern. Everything works perfectly. A lovely touch is that there are snacks left available at all times. The breakfast was excellent, with quality ingredients including delicious local specialties, along with friendly helpful staff. Really a perfect B&B experience as they have thought of everything you need. We would have loved to stay longer.

Ver clean and comfortable. Nice little balcony. Good bed with fresh sheets every and towels every day. Shower was good (though it leaked onto the floor a little). Short walk to the centre of the charming old town. Aldo and excellent host who went out of his way to help with our late check in and even drove me 3 or 4 km to pick up our rental car a few days before we left. Francesca too who served delicious breakfast every morning, answered all our questions and gave excellent advice about tropea deserves special mention. A really great place.

Breakfast was amazing! Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, very clean rooms with great attention to detail. Elevator. Excellent air-conditioning in room. Outdoor drying rack for laundry. Balcony attached to each room. Steps to main town area and a plethora of shops and restaurants. Lively night time vibe.

Street entrance requires you to haul your luggage down a flight of stone stairs. Could be slippery if raining. Could use more lighting on this stairway to improve safety. Smell of cigarette smoke at times as some patrons smoke on their balconies.

Great breakfast, very clean and comfortable room, centrally located.

Manager said initially we had to pay for our stay with cash because the credit card machine was broken. However, we saw another guest pay with a credit card???? Also, when we initially booked we were told the rooms were accessible by elevator. However, you had to walk down 12 stairs without a hand rail to get to the elevator. This was a concern because my friend we traveled with has had some trouble walking.

This B&B is an absolute gem in a fab location in beautiful Tropea. The owners, Aldo and Anna, are lovely and very helpful with anything you might need. The staff (hello Francesca) are also terrific. Varied brekky daily, drinks and snacks on hand. It was a treat to be able to use the facilities at their other location, Porto Ulisse. I can't wait to return! Grazie mille.
