Tropea is one of the best places we've ever been to in italy. This B&B was fantastic. Great location right in the centre of the town. So close to many restaurants/bars. The beach is a short walk away, yes there are stairs, but thats coastal italy for you. The beaches were gorgeous but I would recommend hiring a boat for a day or going on a tour, the water is SO clear and it was so gorgeous to see the different areas of Tropea that you can only see via boat. The hotel itself was clean, our room was huge and we had a cute little balcony. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and the coffee was also lovely. The staff were very helpful. Would 1000% recommend staying here if you are visiting Tropea. Also do yourself a favour and get a sandwich from Enogastronomia Lorenzo!!!! also anything with Nduja, I think I ate my entire body weight in Nduja while in Tropea.

Il Duca b&b is in the perfect location . It has a balcony which you can sit out on & enjoy the amazing view of the ocean & the town centre which is directly down stairs. Luggage can be a little awkward to get to the top of the many stairs but worth it ! The bed & pillows are comfortable & room itself spacious . Our host Sonia was fantastic she organised a taxi for us from the train station which although is walking distance would not have been ideal with all our heavy luggage . Lots of wonderful cafe’s & restaurants to choose from . Highly recommend staying here !

The apartment is wonderful. Everything is of the highest quality including the windows/doors to the balcony which cut out all the noise from the bustling street below. The view from the balcony is amazing as promised and you are so close to the beaches and so many amazing cafes and restaurants. Sonia was such a great host. From the moment we got lost on arrival, when she patiently helped us to not only find the accommodation but also a free parking space to go with it, to the substantial and delicious breakfasts that were provided every morning. We had a wonderful stay.

This has nothing to do with the quality of the accommodation, but be prepared for lots of steps. A small price to pay for the perfect spot to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Il Duca the location was perfect, we knew there was a climb to our room with no lift so we were well prepared , breakfast was hood and cluadia helped us find places to get our ferry tickets printed and found a space at back for is to park (dont park in yellow box directly in front of gate though as we got a €29 ticket . Tropea is a lovely little town with beautiful architecture and ambience . There area. Xouple of lovely beaches too and the water is crystal clear . We would reccomend for mobile guests thankyou for having us in your lovely home ❤️

Incredible hospitality to go with the great location and view. We arrived late morning and were lucky enough to be shown to our room. The room was fresh, clean and tidy and fitted out like a hotel room with a comfortable large bed and crisp monogrammed linen. The breakfast is comprehensive and it can be taken on your verandah overlooking the spectacular view. They even offered beach towels, beach umbrella and a cool pack for our use. Signora Franca, Sonia and the room attendant are totally focused on customer satisfaction. Highly recommend.

The location is brilliant, right in the centre of everything. Can easily walk down the stairs to the beach or Santuario di Santa Maria, otherwise so many restaurants, bars and cafes within walking distance. Also, we had a room on the top floor in the corner, the sunset was amazing. Breakfast each day was so nice and really set up our day, we just took what we want and headed to our room to enjoy the view. Claudia is the best too, always helpful with any questions or requests via WhatsApp.

Minor issue thpugh understandable. .Room gas key card access which when leaving the room shuts down all power to the room. Understandable as it prevents wasteful use of the AC but it also shuts down the fridge which means it never gets cool during your stay

Great B&B with fantastic view. Very comfortable bed and pillows. In the room (top floor) was a bit hot but aircon was working ok. Close everywhere very good location. Breakfast was ok not spectacular but all was good.

One card to the room when I was leaving to shop my wife was in the room without electricity. Aircon only worked when card was in the room. It would be nice to come back to cooled room instead wait 30mins to cool down.

The location was perfect and the view was absolutely amazing. It was so nice to have a fridge in our room that we could fill with water.

There were a lot of stairs to get to our room (80)! The eating area wasn’t air conditioned for breakfast and we were told that we couldn’t eat in our air conditioned room that was directly across the hall. We were allowed to eat on our balcony but the hot sun was beating directly at us.

American couple in our 60's visiting Tropea for the first time. First of all, Claudia the manager is super helpful and always presented her fresh baked goodies every morning to us. The staff was very nice and it was clean. Great location in town and the seaview was a vision from heaven. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Also they helped us arrange a Taxi to the airport. Also there was a beach umbrella and beach towels for us to use in our room.

Only thing to know is that there are steps to get into the B&B rooms (no elevator). However, Claudia helped us get our bags in and our of the B&B, very hospitable.
