Location of this hotel is perfect. This hotel  is recently renovate breakfast is including and was really delicious receptionist Elizabeth was wonderful . she was really professional on her job. She recommend a few places where to eat and we was not disappointing at all.  thank you again for making our vacation.  wonderful 

INCREDIBLE! On our way to Tropea we had a big airport delay and we missed our train. The accomodation went out of their way to arrange a driver for us at 1am in the morning! They also stayed away and kept messaging us on WhatsApp to make sure we arrived safely — they were up messaging us until 3am! We could not believe how amazing this place was. They were so supportive and helpful. The breakfast is the best we had in Italy and the location of the property is the BEST. You must book here if you come to Tropea!!

Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choices and was fresh. The room was huge and the shower was great. It was quite contemporary and modern in a good way. QUiet except for the construction outside. The windows had great sound proofing.

The parking garage was small, and difficult to park, but all well there. Did NOT like that everything including the bottled water and morning coffee was an extra charge in the room. ALSO, they had turned off climate control because of the shoulder season between winter and summer. Regardless, it made the room stuffy with no fan or air conditioning. We did open the window but there was VERY noisy construction outside.

The place was spotless, and the staff were super helpful. The bed was huge with really comfy pillows, and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is extremely close to all the main attractions. And did I mention how clean it was? The room was cleaned and towels replaced daily. They also offer parking at a reasonable price. Just a heads-up for anyone planning to use the parking: there are only a few spaces, and two of them are quite tight. If you're not confident in your parking skills, you might prefer opting for street parking.

Nice new hotel close to the city center. Comfortable bed and nice design of the room. Very friendly staff and perfect communication via whatsapp. Breakfest was fine with all expected dishes. Parking in hotel garage for very reasonable fee.

Although the hotel is not located in the city center, there is still a lot of noise coming from outside and the street. You can literally hear people talking on the street. Better soundproof windows should be standard for this type and level of accommodation. But it’s not a big issue if you use earplugs.

Excellent location close to historic town and beach The room was spacious and comfortable Breakfast had variety- Chef was very accomodating and would cook eggs upon request. Excellent customer service by Maria and Elisabetta at reception who assisted us during a stressful time after delayed delivery of our luggage from Airport. Thank you

It’s a beautiful property everything is new and all fittings and furnishings a high quality. The location is only 4-5 minute walk from the centre, there is also a secure garage available upon request for your car. The staff are all amazing, friendly, courteous and provide great service with a smile. Breakfast is plentiful with a large selection and the staff are constantly filling the buffet while making sure everyone is comfortable and cleaning up as guests come and go. This is our second stay here and we will defiantly be staying here on our next visit to Tropea.

Everything was perfect.

The hotel was in a very good location, just a few blocks from the beach and an easy walk to the old town center. It was quite clean, modern, and spacious. The breakfast area was charming. Parking was right in the building, with elevator access. Our corner room had large, bright windows (though not much of a view, unless you like to watch people lining up for the pizza restaurant across the street). The staff were superbly friendly and helpful.

The bathroom, although large, was poorly arranged, with the world's smallest shower. The room, also large, was sparsely furnished, with a table barely adequate to seat one person.

Once we got the lay of the land in Tropea, we realized just how good the location of Solmaris is. You can walk easily to all the restaurants and places of interest in the 'upper' part of the town. Even though it's a bit of a challenge, getting down to the long walkway by the shore is accomplished by several different routes; it's best to do the climb back up by choosing the most gradual slope even though you might have to walk a bit longer to find it. Try not to miss visiting the local cemetary; it's moving and beautiful. The room we had was spacious and the bathroom, with its walk-in shower, safe and accessible. The table and two chairs were useful. The breakfast was amazing with more choices than we could imagine. The staff was helpful and gave us good advice on what was open during the height of their winter. Many of the usual activities in Tropea were, of course, not available in February but hotel staff were able to arrange for a special cooking lesson through a local provider. A highlight for sure.

The breakfast room was located on an outdoor terrace and somewhat chilly. An outdoor heater would have been welcome. Also welcome would have been some drawers to store clothes in but this is a common failing in many hotels. While there is cable TV available, there are no English language channels that we could find.

Comfy bed, great location, nice breakfast, attentive staff. The room was big and we were happy with our choice.

The TV was very small and hard to see - for what we were paying and for such nice facilities, they should install larger tvs. The parking lot was a bit challenging for longer cars
