We had a wonderful stay at Donnaciccina Accommodation! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the charming old town of Tropea, with bars, restaurants, and a beautiful sea view from the nearby viewpoint just steps away. The hotel itself is very unique – full of character, with an authentic historic atmosphere that makes your stay even more special. Umberto, the host, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Umberto and Corrado were excellent hosts; very attentive ensuring that we were comfortable and felt welcome. They even loaned us a beach umbrella. The rooms were well appointed with their own unique charm. Best of all was the central location - easy to find and close to everything. We highly recommend visiting Tropea and staying at Donnaciccina Accommodation.

The B&B is right in the heart of the historic center, just steps away from restaurants, shops, and all the main sights. You couldn’t ask for a better location! Umberto and Corrado, the hosts, were truly fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the best of the city with wonderful hosts!

Umberto, was such a lovely host and a really genuine person, he went out of his way to help organise our stay in every way. The breakfast was excellent and fresh squeezed orange juice from his Garden, and he catered for any food allergies. He really made our stay in Tropea special and we will definitely be back again and have already recommended this accommodation to our friends Emer and Edwin Ireland.

Really kind and helpful hosts, always available and genuinely attentive. You truly feel welcome and heard. The location is perfect—right in the very heart of Tropea’s historic and tourist center. Naturally, that means it’s not the quietest spot at night, but that’s to be expected when you're staying in such a lively area and not out in nature. That said, we do feel the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved.

I LOVED this property! Excellent location, amazing host! Umberto took me on his scooter my first day so that I could do laundry. He ensured a staff member was there to help me with my luggage when I arrived late in the evening. Umberto and his staff treated me like family and I truly value the souther Italian hospitality! I would definitely return!

The location and room is amazing. Close to bars, restaurants, shopping, mini market and beach. We had one of the top floor rooms with views of the sea. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was well priced and had great variety. Umberto the owner and Conrad are wonderful hosts and made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Umberto takes great pride for his accommodation and is so helpful. We had a great experience and highly recommended.

The location is unbeatable, steps from restaurants and the Balconata with the incredible view of Santa Maria and Rotonda Beach. The hotel itself is a beauty, an historic building with details, clean and spacious rooms with a small fridge, safe and AC, a lovely breakfast area and wonderful staff. Check-in and out was easy. Thank you Umberto, Ana and Gennaro!

Not a complaint nor a reflection of the proprietor but the only access to the rooms is via stairs, which is common in Italy. It wasn’t an issue for us but something to consider if anyone has accessibility concerns.

What can I say? Some of the fondest memories of our first trip to Italy was our stay with Umberto, Konrad and Amit taking care of our every need at the beautiful Donnaciccina. Patience and hospitality we won't soon forget.

Our time was too short, but we will return.

Umberto, the host, could possibly be the most accommodating and helpful host we have ever had through our entire trip in Italy!! It was a pleasure staying here in the unique suite that was in a cave and was right in the middle of the old town.

We were a family of 4 so staying in this suite was fine. If you were 2 couples it could be a bit awkward as there was not a lot of privacy (open concept).
