We truly enjoyed our stay at Stop & Sleep Udine. From the moment we arrived, Dario —our host— welcomed us warmly and gave us a full tour of the house, instantly making us feel at home. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The shared kitchen is a huge plus: perfectly equipped, always clean, and with a generous breakfast to start the day right. The Bicycle Garage was an excellent added value for anyone traveling on two wheels. The location, just a short walk from the train station, was very convenient for exploring the city and its surroundings. Overall, a place with excellent value for money, warm hospitality, and well-kept spaces. Many thanks to Dario for making our stay so pleasant. We would definitely recommend it to any traveler looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a friendly atmosphere in Udine.

The area near the train station can feel a bit busy at night, but inside the property it’s quiet, safe, and very comfortable.

Nice room with a bathroom for a small family, decent price, great host, contacted us multiple times, provided us with guidance and tips. We felt very well guided and supported.

Location, even though it is close to the old town (10 minutes walk), very busy and turbulent as it is very near to the train station. Very mixed demographic, we were recommended not to leave any valuables in the car (but it is also common sense); however, we haven't experienced any unpleasant situations, good presence of police and also military!? around the station, so it is indeed very safe and secure. Public parking is in front of the room, easily reachable, we paid 12 € for a day/night.

The room is clean and organized, had a dedicated bathroom. Breakfast is provided with a variety of options, and the kitchen is clean. Host was very helpful an patient, it was easy to discuss and ask things. We had trouble arriving due to train strike and got there very late. The host met us at the property and made sure we get everything required.

We saw some other guests staying in the same apartment wasting the food provided, and some didn't clean up after using the kitchen. The hair dryer in the bathroom is quite different from what we had seen before and was confusing. It had no option to adjust air flow or temperature.

The location opposite the train station makes traveling easier. The room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. The staff friendly and helpful as always (we have been here several times and will definitely return). The staff offered us to store our luggage after check out, as our train was in the late afternoon. This way we could comfortably spend more time in the city and go to lunch without having to worry about our bags.

The room is small but well appointed. The shared kitchen was very clean and suitable for preparing simple meals. We were met on arrival Dario who was extremely helpful. Bus and train stations very handy.

The lock on our external bathroom door was quite loud and I was concerned it might waken other guests. Internal soundproofing could be better.

The host was very welcoming upon arrival. The room itself was clean and provided everything necessary for our short overnight stay. It is easy to reach the accomodation if you are planning to travel by train as it's located right next to the train station.

The surrounding area isn't too nice and some people might feel unsafe at night.

We really liked the location, it was very close to the train station, as we also did a day tour to Trieste and Duino, this was very convenient. And the area is very safe and clean for being so close to the train station. It only takes about 15 min by foot to go to the centre and it is a nice walk. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom is private, but no ensuite, which we knew in advance and was no problem for us. We also liked the "self service" style breakfast area. A lot of items were provided free of charge, there was plenty of cutlery & crockery, also everything needed to cook a full meal if wanted. Reception was great, communication was great, we really enjoyed our stay.

We were very happy, no complaints at all. Careful: the accomodation is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. We knew this in advance and only had light luggage with us, so it was no problem at all.

It was very conveniently located right across the train station. The staff were very helpful in showing us around the property and guiding us to our room. The breakfast was a nice touch, especially as it was raining during the day we arrived, so we were able to make breakfast on the spot.

Located just across the main railway station you find a quiet and place to stay and recharge. Access granted via elevator which is nice as located in the fourth floor. Also offers storage for bikes. Nicely equipped rooms and a kitchen offering all you need for a self service breakfast.

Parking with a car might be challenging.

Fantastic location next to the train station and easy walking into Centro. Lovely host who goes.out of her way to give you tips and information about the area. Facilities are great with kitchen with self serve breakfast and comfortable bathroom. Would stay again.

Bed too firm for me, but not the biggest issue. Others would find it just fine.
