We were cycling, so a great hotel if bike storage is provided in a dry safe spot. The bed was comfortable, good pillows and very good quality sheets and towels. Great shower and spacious bathroom with good lighting. Good desk and WiFi for working. The weather was appalling for our two night stay so we did need to spend quite a bit of time at the hotel. We used the bar both nights, Service and drinks were spot on, we did not eat in the restaurant as it was a small room and we prefer to eat outside. We also didn’t have breakfast. But a very important benefit was that you could use the washing machine and dryer in the basement next to bike storage. This is an added bonus if you are on a long bike journey. There wasn’t an additional cost for this.

There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the hotel doesn’t have an area where you can make your own with a machine. We picked up a coffee for breakfast but it’s filtered coffee, not particularly good. The biggest issue for us was the noise from the rooms above us. Not on Sunday afternoon. Monday it commenced. We definitely know it could not have been guests as it went on all day on Monday with constant shifting of furniture and loud thumping and loud voices so we assumed work was being carried out. It stopped at about 5 pm and resumed at 7am. One would think that reception would know about this but on checking out they claimed not to know. Probably not an ongoing issue but perhaps check when booking.

This is a really fancy hotel, centrally located, with marble floors, beautiful interior design and comfortable rooms. A minibar, a fancy bathroom, and a nice closet, but the most important feature of the room, having ridden 100 km in the rain on that day on my bicycle, was a really fancy heater/dryer in my bathroom, which I put to good use, drying all of my clothes and shoes. Wonderful! The breakfast was pretty great too. Oh, and I had tea and desert at the bar, which was quite nice as well.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! It’s quite central, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made my experience even more enjoyable. The only thing I would suggest is for the hotel to clarify that gym access requires an additional payment. However, I must say that it’s definitely worth the money—it's one of the best-equipped hotel gyms I've seen so far. Overall, a great experience!

This was a lovely stay. Hotel is not pretentious, the stay is very comfortable. I really appreciate this very 'natural' sense of hospitality, trust, elegance, yet above all modesty. The staff was top notch, from the beginning to the end. The room is clean, good quality furniture, mattress, linen, bathroom amenities. WiFi is strong. The old school real hospitality matters and this hotel proved that it stands its ground.

Nothing that I did not like. Simply as an idea, maybe hair conditioner as well to add as amenities in the bathroom.

Friendly and helpful staff. Underground parking. Standard room decent size. Great value for money. Fantastic restaurant experience. Right in the centre of town, you can walk everywhere. We felt so comfortable and welcome and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautiful city of Udine. I could say so much more but I will simply say we would love to come again. Grazie!

This is a perfect old style 4 star hotel and we loved it! Beautifully maintained with an air of elegance, the staff were fabulous and our room spotless. Breakfast on the terrace was fabulous and the In house restaurant charming. Just on the edge of the old city but easy level walk to restaurants and attractions. Highly recommended.

Nothing really but there wasn’t any aircon in our room so not sure how that would be in hotter weather.

Excellent hotel with spacious and well-equipped rooms. Great location close to the city center. The breakfast was outstanding with beautiful views, and dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good as well. Good facilities for bicycles which was much appreciated. Overall fantastic value for money - highly recommend this place!

Everything perfect

It was a short walk from the station to get to the hotel. The older parts of Udine were in easy walking distance. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious as was the bathroom. The breakfasts had a lot of choices. Again, the staff serving were great.

Great location within very short distance of the old city and a lot of public parking spaces outside of hotel if you arrive by car, spacious and very comfortable bedroom, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast with many choices , pleasant staff.

The WiFi was at times unstable. The shower was very small, even though the bathroom was spacious and very comfortable.

The location was perfect for someone without a car - the room was quite basic with no view but that was ok - breakfast was buffet and not much hot food but good coffee and good view.

The aircon was located behind the drapes, which hindered it's efficiency and it was very hot at that time of the year ,
