The breakfast was exceptional: high quality food and lots of selections! We booked a junior suite. It had a nice living/dining room with a balcony. In this room, there was a full kichen. The bedroom was also great and beutiful. In both rooms, there were classic, whole wood furniture that looked like new. The overall feeling was warm and felt like back to our own home. The overall room perks were also exceptional: for a 3 star hotel you normally didn't have bath robes, but they provided them with high end disposable slippers (usually seen in a 4-5 star hotels).

The unit was on the third floor. There was no elevator. We needed to carry our luggage to the room. But that's OK. The beautiful unit really justified the little effort!

I liked this hotel from every point of view. Comfortable, clean. I simply had that feeling of always wanting to return, like I couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel. Although, at first, when I saw it had only three stars, I was a bit skeptical, but this hotel is at a five-star level compared to hotels in France, hotels other parts of Italy, and so on. So, it is extraordinary. Absolutely everything at the highest level.

The only thing I didn’t really like—though it’s not a major issue—is that the sauna costs extra. I think it would be better if the price for the sauna were already included in the room rate. That way, guests could just relax without having to worry about booking or making additional payments, which can be a bit of a hassle. It would be more convenient and stress-free.

Gorgeous location surrounded by dramatic mountain views. We had an apartment with a little balcony. The hotel has its own bakery so you will have many opportunities to eat tasty treats. Super friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Delicious breakfast daily including all their own baked goods. Afternoon tea daily provided in lovely lounge which can be a social event. Hard to find fault, but if anything the espresso provided at breakfast could be better! And laundry facilities would have been good. Also worth being aware that getting to the ski slopes in Cortina is not easy if you don’t have a car. There is a bus, but I believe it is not frequent.

Located in a small town about a 15 minute drive south from Cortina. The room was a reasonable size and modern with a very comfortable bed and linens. We had a room with a (fairly small) terrace, which faced the main road but the beautiful mountains too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the afternoon cakes/pies/snacks were outstanding! They own a patisserie (next door), and the treats really were excellent. We liked being out of Cortina, as the town of San Vito was quaint and had two good restaurants, with many others a 15 minute drive away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming historic boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet, peaceful town. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the ambience in the dining rooms made each morning feel cozy and special. The location is ideal for visiting nearby scenic sites, though during our trip, the road to Cortina was unfortunately blocked due to a landslide. Even so, the kind and helpful staff went out of their way to assist us in planning alternative routes.

Absolutely exceptional hotel in a beautiful village of San Vito di Cadore. Rooms are huge, so beautiful, ladies at reception and breakfast were so lovely, welcoming and friendly. The Merenda snacks in the afternoon were so yummy, the best cheesecake I've ever had! Location is super, 2 mins from the bus stop and Cortina is only 15 mins away by car/bus. There are lots of walks from the village and looks like you can also ski right there. Spa is very small but very lovely, very good saunas and it was very welcome for a cold and wet day we experienced. Grazie mille, torneremo!!!!

One little thing that would be nice to have is ability to make/have tea - if not in each room, then perhaps in the lounge area?

The aesthetic was fantastic! Loved the alpine decor. They had onsite parking, which was great and was right in the town, so easy access to whatever you needed. Breakfast was fantastic with many options. They also had snacks out for guests in the afternoon, which is a nice touch. The shower was big (which is rare in Italy) as were the towels. We had a great balcony with a nice view of the mountains. The staff was second to none. They were extremely friendly and accommodating.

My only complaint was that the pillows and bed were a bit hard for our liking, but definitely not a deal breaker, we still slept fine after all the hiking!

This hotel is really precious. The view from the hotel is amazing, the proximity to Cortina D'Ampezzo, has multiple parking spaces, the room is spatious and the sleep is great, very comfy beds, amazing bathroom with really modern shower and facilities, the shower gel and lotion were so wonderful and I felt spoiled by them, it's really a classy hotel by its simplicity yet eye catching design! The hotel has a pastry shop and a bar with very good taste in selection. The breakfast has everything you need and more. I am really happy I chose this hotel for visiting the Dolomites!

The wooden interior decor of the hotel is cosy. Breakfast was very nice with good selection. The bakery, fruit etc are very fresh. Complimentary cakes and sandwiches for afternoon snacks. The staff who work at the front desk and restaurant are very polite and helpful. Upon checkout, we were given a box of cake to take with us for our journey which is a nice touch.

The room does not have air con(feels stuffy) but we were given a fan upon request. We didn’t get any view from the room since we were in the first floor, just looking over some roof top behind a building. Would prefer a brighter lighting in the bathroom. Could have more English channels on tv, we could only find CNN.

Lovely hotel and you can walk to the little downtown. Well decorated and comfortable. Delicious breakfast with fresh pastries from their shop. Gorgeous mountain views from our room and it has the flowerboxes on the exterior that make it super cute. We loved the free parking. Very nice bathroom and shower and attentive service from the staff.

The hotel is close to the road so there is significant traffic noise with the windows open. With the windows closed it was pretty quiet, but that made it hotter than we liked to sleep in for the summer. They did have a fan in the room which definitely helped, but no AC. Most hotels in the Dolomites are close to the main road, so not sure you can totally avoid the road noise. Maybe ask for a room facing away from the road.
